Abstract: The purpose of the current study is to find the optimal setting of welding parameters in TIG welding of Super Duplex Stainless Steel (2507).Normally SS2507 is used in heavy applications such as heat exchangers and chemical tankers, so stellite 6 is used as a coating material to improve the strength of the material in those applications. The strength and the chemical properties can be analysed using some of the testing methods such as tensile test, scanning electron microscopytest, X-ray diffraction test, energy dispersion X-rays test. By using these tests the strength SS207 can be analysed.

Abstract: Air transportation is now in an accelerated growth, to make it reliable and cost-efficient several researchers are going on. In this paper, the design of an aircraft which is assisted by a panel for take-off and landing by using magnetic levitation phenomenon has been proposed. In this design, superconducting magnets and electromagnets are used for levitation and propulsion during take-off respectively, speed and position sync technology by modulating Vehicular Ad-hoc Network (VANET) for landing purpose. An unmanned Air vehicle of 100cm span with T-Tail have been designed and manufactured as per standards of ASME. Due to the levitation of aircraft by superconducting magnets Gross weight of the vehicle reduced approximately 6% was recorded. A Magnetic Panel Runway of length 3m have been designed and tested for 10m/s as take-off velocity. We conjectured that this concept will reduce fuel consumption during take-off, accidents during landing, further a shorter runway length can be achieved.

Abstract: The performance of spectrum sensing based on cooperative relaying is investigated. It is found that multiple number of cognitive relay nodes improve spectrum sensing performance. It is shown that the optimal sensing time of CR reduces with the increasing number of relay nodes. Reduction in optimal sensing time results in increase of the optimal throughput of the CR significantly. Impact of SNR on optimal throughput and on sensing time is noticeable. If SNR increases, the normalized optimal throughput increases and optimal sensing time reduces for a fixed number of relay nodes.

Abstract: Examination plays a vital role in education system. During examination period there may be shortfall of (question paper, answer booklet) staff alteration and other need of students such as water, graph etc. For these complications the monitoring person has to depend on man power to pass this information to the examination wing. This process takes more time and students are not fulfilled their need at right time. To overcome the above complication, a remote keypad module is given to the monitoring person. When monitoring person press any of those keys the message is sent to examination wing via Wi-Fi through raspberry pi and notification will be displayed in the monitor. So the exam coordinator can take responsibility to solve the complication. At the same time the message will also be passed to the exam coordinator through GSM. The main concept of the project is to provide smart communication between examination hall and examination wing.
