Abstract: Web service is one of the software applications, XML-based languages are used to access the web service. Representational State Transfer (REST) is an architectural style which brings several benefits for integrating services and applications. REST is simple, interoperable and flexible way of writing web services which is different from other techniques. It has been developed in parallel with HTTP protocol. REST consumes less bandwidth and it makes full use of Web features, and also has the advantage of simplicity, scalability. The implementation of REST over cloud is demonstrated by taking the example of the retrieving the results from the VTU website. Abstract: SQL injection is the most common attack for web applications and widely used exploit by hackers all over the world. A malicious hacker can do a lot of harm if he wishes to. SQL injection is a security vulnerability that occurs in the database layers of an application. SQL injection is a technique to pass SQL code into interactive web applications that employ in database services. The employment of SQL Injection Attacks, can lead to the leak of confidential information such as credit card numbers, commercial information & table structure. The attackers can get the entire schema of the original database and also corrupt it. In this paper, we have proposed the Detection Model of SQL Injection Vulnerabilities and SQL Injection Mitigation Framework. These approaches are based on SQL Injection grammar to identify the SQL Injection vulnerabilities during software development and SQL Injection Attack on web applications. SQL injection tester will secure web applications from all the above SQL injection attacks. It will test any web application for sql injection attack & will generate the report which will inform the web developer that for which sql injection attacks his web application is vulnerable. Abstract: Development of new and innovative android applications made energy consumption a very important issue. The full potential for android phones may be constrained by certain technical limits such as battery life and computational performance. Modern mobile applications have more powerful functions but need larger computation and energy resources, which consume more battery power. Using the proposed offloading framework, mobile devices can offload computational intensive workload to other devices to save battery energy consumption and reduce the execution time. JADE (Java Agent Development Framework) allows software developers to easily build and deploy services on the servers to support mobile devices to run computationally intensive tasks. Compared with other offloading schemes for android phones, the JADE enables developers to choose which parts of the codes are supposed to be offloaded. We proposed a Downloader app which is capable of offloading the downloading task to other device, based on the resources available with the other device. Experiments showed that the proposed offloading scheme can successfully reduce computational time and battery energy consumption. Abstract: Students at Caledonian College of Engineering have to meet the staff either lecturers, supervisors or advisors, regularly to clear their questions and doubts. For that students must to conduct an appointment to inform the staff before going to them. There are several ways to schedule the appointments, like contact with the assistant at the department and fill up the appointment request and ,also could send an e-mail to the teaching assistant to inform him/her. Students' appointment records are important documents for academic institutions that reflect the performances of the students and their credibility and availability to think, research, analyse and then to discuss. However, the process of managing these documents had been done manually, by pen and papers thus making it less efficient. These methods are become tricky that sometimes student feels difficult to go to fill out the request form and maybe the forms get missed. This report discusses about the development of a new appointment system for the CCE faculty. The system is almost a software development. Abstract: A fingerprint is an impression left on the plain surface of an object by ridges of human finger. They are considered to be as sole keys that we can carry anywhere. In court of law, latent fingerprints serve as an important source of forensic evidence. In several applications, automatic matching of latent fingerprints to exemplar fingerprints is important.  However, latent impressions are of poor quality, feature extraction and latent matching becomes a puzzling problem. This is due to difficult background noise in latent fingerprints. A top-down feedback from an exemplar is proposed which is used to refine the extracted feature from latents for enhancing accuracy. Ridge orientation and ridge frequency are the refined features from exemplars. Rolled and plain or slap fingerprints are collectively called exemplars. After feedback, the refined features are used to re-match the latent resulting top K candidate list. It is returned by the baseline matcher which is then resorted.

Abstract: In the field of Information Filtering we have many term-based or pattern –based methods for generating user’s needed information from a set of documents .A general thinking is that documents in a particular collection is related to only a single topic. But in real life user’s interest is different and documents in a set or collection includes multiple topics. Most commonly used topic modelling method is Latent Dirichlet Allocation (LDA) which generates a structural model to represent multiple topics in a set of documents. Patterns generally are more descriptive and efficiently used in real time applications. So to select most descriptive and efficient patterns from the discovered set of patterns here a Maximum matched Pattern-based Topic Model is introduced. It helps us to get the relevant document according to user needs by filtering out unwanted documents.

Abstract: A new impregnable image transmission technique is proposed here, which transforms automatically a huge-size of secret image into the secret-fragment-visible mosaic image of the same size. The mosaic image is looks similar to an arbitrarily selected target image. It can be obtained by fragmenting the secret image and transforming their color characteristics corresponding to the blocks of the target image. Here the dexterous techniques are designed to conduct the color transformation process then the secret image can be recover without any loss. The converted Pixels’ color values having overflows/ underflows can be handled by recording the color differences in the transformed color spaces is also   proposed. The mosaic image is embedded by the information required to recover the secret image using a lossless data hiding scheme along with a key.

Abstract: Digital Image Forensic is a branch of science that deals with revealing the fake image manipulation. An image can be manipulated in several ways by making changes to an image such as compression, image splicing, cut and paste forgery, contrast enhancement etc. When we perform a jpeg compression, it would affect the visual quality of the original image. This would help the forensic detectors to identify the traces of the image ie, whether it is JPEG compressed or not. This paper introduces an anti-forensic method which removes from an image the footprints left by JPEG compression in both spatial and DCT domain. The footprints left by JPEG compression play an important role in detecting image forgeries, since JPEG is the most widely used image compression standard. So that This method can defeat the existing forensic detectors which try to identify the traces of JPEG compression history and also provides an improved trade-off between the forensic undetectability and the image quality. The main goal of Anti-forensics, is to mislead forensic investigators, which helps the researchers to study the weaknesses in the existing forensic techniques for further development of reliable digital forensics methods.

Abstract: Electrification of transport is the most common approach to improve transport efficiency. There are two factors mainly related to the cost of transport associated with electrical vehicles. They are the cost of acquisition and the cost of maintenance of batteries. Finding an efficient way of managing the available energy allows reducing the battery size and hence the cost associated with transport. The proposed work computes the routes for a fleet of electric vehicles by considering the battery limit of the vehicle and the concurrent use of charging stations along the route. The proposed solution minimizes the cost which is a combination of charging time, travel time and the energy consumption along the route. It is based on an evolutionary genetic algorithm with learning strategy. The proposed algorithm computes a feasible solution in a reasonable amount of time and assigns the vehicles among the charging stations to minimize the concurrency.

Abstract: A time synchronization algorithm which is new for wireless sensor networks have been proposed in this paper named clustered consensus time synchronization (CCTS). On the basis of the distributed consensus time synchronization (DCTS) algorithm, this CCTS is developed. The clustering technique is incorporated into the algorithm in order to maintain the faster convergence of node’s clock synchronization and better energy efficiency. The CCTS can have mainly two stages: intra cluster and inter cluster time synchronization. The improved DCTS is applied in the intra cluster time synchronization and for exchanging messages within the cluster, the responsibility will be given to the cluster head only. Cluster heads exchange messages via gateway nodes in the case of inter cluster time synchronization. The proposed algorithm’s simulation results shows that it reduces the communication traffic compared to DCTS algorithm, and improves the convergence rate due to the combination of clustering topologies.

Abstract: There is a rapid growth of technology in today’s world. Mobile technology has become an icon now-a-days. With the help of this advanced technology the old voting methods can be changed to the advanced voting methods. The advancement of this technology has given rise to a new application. Online voting is very simple, user friendly and less time consuming. It reduces the human efforts as it has no physical tampering. Online voting using smart system is nothing but using the smart device. This technology uses the fingerprint method to cast vote. The voters fingerprint is scanned and matched with the fingerprint that is already saved in the database. The database is linked with the voter’s aadhar card id. After the completion of the voters fingerprint identification the voter is allowed to cast vote and then the vote is updated immediately.

Abstract: Web search engines (e.g. Google, Yahoo etc.) are widely used to find certain data among a huge amount of information in a nominal amount of time. However, these useful tools also pose a privacy threat to the end user’s web search engines profile their end user’s by storing and analyzing past searches submitted by them. In the introduced system, we can implement the String Similarity Matching Algorithm (SSM Algorithm) for improving the better search quality results. To address this privacy threat, present solutions introduce new mechanisms that introduce a high cost in terms of calculation and communication. Personalized search is a promising way to get better accuracy of web search, and has been attracting more attention recently. However, effective personalized search needs collecting and aggregating user information, which often increases serious concerns of privacy infringement for many users. Indeed, these concerns have become one of the main barriers for deploying personalized search applications, and how to do privacy-preserving personalization is a great challenge. In this we introduce and try to resist adversaries with broader background knowledge, such as richer relationship amongst topics. Richer relationship means we generalize the user profile results by using the background knowledge which is going to save in history. Through this we can hide the user search results. By using this mechanism, we can achieve the privacy.

Abstract: Since last 20 years the network traffic analysis has increase largely over the couple of years. Traffic analysis is the process of intercepting and detect the message in order to deduct the information. Traffic analysis has been affected by attackers to threated user’s privacy in the cyber world. So that there is different type attack are used to detect the traffic analysis are used.
