Abstract: The main purpose of this paper is to highlight the features of Artificial Intelligence (AI), how it was developed, and some of its main applications. John McCarthy, one of the founders of artificial intelligence research, once defined the field as “getting a computer to do things which, when done by people, are said to involve intelligence.” The point of the definition was that he felt perfectly comfortable about carrying on his research without first having to defend any particular philosophical view of what the word “intelligence” means. The beginnings of artificial intelligence are traced to philosophy, fiction, and imagination. Early inventions in electronics, engineering, and many other disciplines have influenced AI. Some early milestones include work in problems solving which included basic work in learning, knowledge representation, and inference as well as demonstration programs in language understanding, translation, theorem proving, associative memory, and knowledge-based systems.

Abstract: A Cloud is a type of parallel and distributed system consisting of a collection of interconnected and virtualized computers that are dynamically provisioned and presented as one or more unified computing resources based on service-level agreements established through negotiation between the service provider and consumers.

Cloud Computing has emerged as a new era in IT. A number of banks are now adopting cloud technologies to fulfill their varied purposes. Cloud technology offers business models for delivering innovative client experiences, effective collaboration, upgraded speed to market and enhanced IT efficiency. Using cloud computing banks can create a flexible and agile banking environment that can quickly respond to new business needs.

In this research paper, I mainly focus on, how cloud computing can be used in the banking industry, various business models associated with it and the problems faced by the banking industry in adopting this technology.

Abstract: Apple introduced iCloud in iOS5 as a service to allow applications to store data on Apple’s servers and have it synchronized across all devices used by the same person (via their Apple ID). It also has a backup component. This document describes how to use some of the iCloud APIs provided by Apple to store and retrieve data from their servers, with C# samples for storing small key-value data pairs and for storing documents. It also discusses how iCloud Backup can influence the design of your application. The iCloud storage API in iOS5 allow applications to save user documents & application specific data to a central location and access those items from all the user’s devices. iCloud helps you store your photos, music, apps, documents, calendars and more. It’s an easiest way to manage your content. Apple has built iCloud functionality directly into many of their apps and iOS5. When you take a photo from your iPhone, it can automatically synchronize with iCloud, and be pushed to your iPad and Mac.

Abstract: Today, as the developing of hardware of mobile is getting better, the performance index is much higher than the actual requirements of the software configuration. Phone's features more depend on software. As the Android operating system is getting more popular, the application based on Android SDK attracts much more attention. But now, some of the Android application interface is very difficult to use, pop-up ads is overmuch and the function is too single, these cause some inconvenience to the users. Media Player forms an integral part of today’s Smartphone. It is generally used by users to view media files of various formats. Many users like to watch video by a mobile phone, but the media player has many limitations. With a rapid development of communication and network, multimedia based technology is adopted in media player. Android is an open-source and has powerful APIs which has attracted large number of developers. The papers discuss about the study of the media player with the help of the existing media players which are available in the Android Market and proposed system for the media player which will provide the uninterrupted enjoyment for the user This article presents the application by eliminating the redundancy. The interfaces of these Android apps are pretty and the operation is smooth. Smartphone devices such as iPhone, Blackberry, and those that support the Android operating system are progressively making an impact on society.

Abstract: This paper basically derives various vulnerabilities in openstack and we have try provide a solutions to mitigate these exploits. In the first section we briefly look at the security issues that cloud computing faces. We take a look at the security architecture of Cloud computing in general and then understand the security architecture of OpenStack. In the second section we look at all the known vulnerabilities in OpenStack. We understand how these vulnerabilities can be exploited and how can they be mitigated. The majority of the work done on this project is explained in the second section. The third section consists of a security assessment of Openstack. Firstly, We make a security assessment of Openstack with nMap scans, then we attack Openstack with tools like Metasploit, THC Hydra, Acunetix etc. We also try to exploit OpenStack with known vulnerabilities and try to find new vulnerabilities. Finally, we conclude by providing solutions to mitigate these exploits.

Abstract: Due to the limited resources of the network transmission of large sized data can be a bottleneck in sensor network. The objective of sensor network differs from computer network in a sense that in sensor network the goal is to get an estimate of the environment and not to receive all packets. As such the network provides the ability for In-Network data processing. The data delivery is done by selecting appropriate cluster heads. This kind of region diversity may be utilized to achieve higher energy efficiency.  We divide the network into four regions. Node with highest energy in each region is selected as cluster head. Remaining nodes forwards their data to cluster head which aggregates the data and forwards only one packet instead of all the packets received from other nodes. Therefore the overall energy consumption is reduced in such a network. In our proposed method we recalculate cluster head after every round of transmission and bypass nodes with lower energy to preserve more energy. We compare the performance with non-energy centric pure region based cluster head and prove that the proposed technique fares better in terms of low energy consumption, fewer node deaths, more packet delivery ratio and improved packets par node. Here by compressing redundant data we ensure better degree of compression without compromising on mean square error and in the process extending the lifetime of the network.  The design is simulated using NS2 network simulator and results are analyzed using trace analysis feature. A result shows that proposed system performs better in terms of all the performance metrics in comparison to conventional uncompressed sensing.

Abstract: The OCR system provides an efficient way to translate human readable characters to machine readable characters. It is to identify and analyze a document image by dividing the page into line, words, and then characters. Handwriting character recognition is a challenging and interesting task in the field of pattern recognition. In this paper we are segmenting the Kannada handwritten characters. For the feature extraction we are using twelve directional feature extraction techniques and for the recognition back propagation neural network is used. Experimental results show the good recognition rate towards segmented handwritten Kannada characters.

Abstract: It is well-known that cloud computing has many potential advantages and many enterprise applications and data are migrating to public or hybrid cloud. But regarding some business-critical applications, the organizations, especially large enterprises, still wouldn’t move them to cloud. The market size the cloud computing shared is still far behind the one expected. From the consumers’ perspective, cloud computing security concerns, especially data security and privacy protection issues, remain the primary inhibitor for adoption of cloud computing services. This paper provides a concise but all-round analysis on data security and privacy protection issues associated with cloud computing across all stages of data life cycle. Then this paperdiscusses some current solutions. Finally, this paper describes future research work about data security and privacy protection issues in cloud.

Abstract: Due to the admiring uses of wireless communication, significant exploration has been centered to supporting real time transmission with strict Quality of Service necessities for remote applications. Along with this, a hybrid wireless network which is a combination of Mobile wireless Adhoc network and wireless infrastructure network has been demonstrated superior to different remote systems for forthcoming era. By immediate utilization of reservation-based QoS routing for MANETs, hybrid networks confronts the issue like invalid reservation and race condition in MANETs. Subsequently it is hard to ensure the QoS in hybrid networks. So Here it needs to propose a Distributed routing protocol for hybrid wireless networks i.e, QOD to enhance QoS. Making utilization of two features of hybrid networks that are lessened transmission hops and anycast transmission, the packet routing issue has been changed over to resource scheduling issue. QOD incorporates four algorithms: 1) a Qualified neighbor selection algorithm to reduce transmission delay, 2) a distributed packet scheduling algorithm to meet transmission delay requirement, 3) a segment resizing algorithm based on mobility of neighbor’s in order to reduce transmission time, 4) a redundant traffic elimination algorithm to build the transmission throughput. Experimental studies exhibit that QOD can give high QoS performance regarding transmission throughput, transmission delay, routing overhead, and mobility resilience.

Abstract: Quality is a very important aspect for the software product. Good quality product provides customer satisfaction and provides all benefits to organization and helps the organization to meet their goals.  Metrics are used by the software industry to quantify the development of software. Quality increases productivity, which brought software metrics to the forefront. There are various types of software quality metrics to ensure customer satisfaction. The process of applying software metrics to a software process and to a software product is a complex task which requires discipline and knowledge of the status of the process and product of software in regards to the goals to achieve.

There are specific metrics for different stages of the software development cycle. When a company uses the best software metric during each development phase, the quality of the software will dramatically increase. Therefore, it is highly recommended to use software metrics during all stages of the development process. There are various software quality models available like the quality models as defined by McCall, Richards and Walters in 1977 and the later model of Boëhm published in 1978. Models can be chosen according to the size and the structure of project, type of project or which best suits the organization. Various software quality metrics and the various models present which will be discussed in this paper.

Abstract:  Location-Based Service (LBS) is becoming popular with the growth of smartphones and social network services (SNS), and its context-rich functionalities attract enormous users.  LBS providers use users’ location information to provide them convenience and useful functions. The LBS could break through personal privacy because the location itself contains lot of information about the user. Hence, preserving location privacy is still a challenging issue. This paper proposes non-trivial challenge by designing a suite of Privacy-preserving Location based messaging services. This allows different levels of location requests on encrypted location information for different users, and it is efficient enough to be applied in mobile platforms.

Abstract: Handwritten Kannada Character Recognition has been a challenging research domain due to its diverse applicable environment. Handwriting has always been and will possibly continue to be a means of communication. There is a need to convert these handwritten documents into an editable format which can be achieved by Handwritten Character Recognition Systems. This considerably reduces the storage space required. In this paper focus is on offline handwritten kannada characters. Feature extraction is performed using zoning method together with the concept of euler number. This increases accuracy and speed of recognition as the search space can be reduced.

Abstract: With the widespread use of the Internet, standard browsers are widely available in radiological and clinical departments. So far the limited speed of the Internet has made teleradiology via the Internet too slow for practical use, but many hospital LANs are now connected to the World Wide Web through high speed access. The new JavaScript technology has made it possible to view examinations with web browsers as simple images instead of sending the full examination data. The full data from the examination remains on the server in the radiology department. If changes in window, level, size, zoom factor etc. are required, corrections are made locally in the web browser with JavaScript, and a new simple image is sent from the server. Web browser technology is now offered by most PACS companies and a new de facto standard for image viewing is emerging. © 2001 Elsevier Science Ireland Ltd. All rights reserved.

Abstract: E-government and E-accounting has become a popular focus of government efforts in many countries around the world. More and more governments around the world have implemented and introduced e-government systems such as E-accounting as a means of reducing costs, improving services, saving time and increasing effectiveness and efficiency in the public sector. E-government ,Internet and ICT has made an essential change in the whole society structure, values, culture and the ways of conducting business by utilizing the potential of ICT as a tool in the daily work. The purpose of e-accounting  is not only the traditional information into bits and bytes and making it reachable via the internet websites or giving  government officials computers or automating old practices to an electronic platform. But it also calls for processing accounting activity rethinking ways the government functions are carried out today in order to improve processes and integration. Governments have different strategies to build e-accounting and e-government. Some have created comprehensive long-term plans. Others have opted to identify just a few key areas as the focus of early projects. In all cases, however, the countries identified as most successful have begun with smaller projects in phases on which to build a structure.

One of the important system or projects is an Electronic accounting system that is a complex project, involving multiple e-government application modules of construction. It's beneficial for the e-government system integration to establish the unity basic framework. Therefore, this paper analysis ,design and implementation  the process, events, information flow, capital flow in accounting  e-government, e-government  B2B and B2c scheme to analysis the goal of e- accounting, design the whole system framework, and discusses the realization and main technology of e- accounting  system.

This paper also presents design and implementation of e-accounting system for sudan e-government and the technologies, approaches, Ict which used design and implement e-accounting. The purpose of this study is to illustrate the development E-accounting system used many technologies such as uml, mysql database, php and using ICT. We’ll discuss application system such as forms and reports that produced from technologies and approaches which used in this paper research.

Abstract:  The field of Preserving Privacy in Data Mining is gaining momentum in the recent times as the data sets are more open towards mining by organizations and academic institutes. Ensuring privacy in data before publishing it to wider audience is always an open challenge. There have been many techniques evolved to exploit the perturbed data and get some sensitive knowledge. In the process of ensuring more privacy, the data perturbation techniques also became complex and more distortive in nature. The Data Utility is level of usefulness of the distorted data. The study of data utility comes into play as the distortion level increases. In this paper we are going to propose a pre and post perturbation analysis for measuring the data utility and using this as an input to choose the balance the Data Utility and Privacy in the datasets. This paper primarily focuses the privacy and data utility for datasets which are relational in nature.
