Abstract: Spyware – malicious software that passively collects users’ information without their knowledge is a prevalent threat. Spy Monitoring Server is used to monitor and control the client machines in the network. It allows the administrator to view the systems connected to the LAN. The system information contains OS name and version, Processor details. It is capable of storing login details of the user. It can also monitor the data send by the user. It can share the desktop screen of the users also. The project Spy Monitoring Server‖ is an application which needs to be installed in the server. The computers are connected by a LAN. The computers are recognized either by their computer names or by their IP address.

Abstract: Generally, data mining (sometimes called data or knowledge discovery) is the process of analyzing data from different perspectives and summarizing it into useful information Data integration between autonomous entities should be conducted in a way that no more information than necessary entity is revealed between the participating entities. New knowledge that results from the integration process should not be misused by adversaries to reveal sensitive information that was not available before the data integration. To securely integrate person-specific sensitive data from multi data providers, the integrated data still retain the essential information for supporting data mining tasks. The multi-party data publishing generate an integrated data table satisfying differential privacy. The algorithm also satisfies the security definition in the secure multiparty computation.

Abstract:  Nowadays, many organisations are moving toward considering knowledge management as an essential part to help in working and achieving the organisation goal and to ensure its sustainability and development. It’s because they understand that the tangible assets are not the only valuable asset but also all the intangible assets should be managed to improve the organisation performance. From another point nowadays many people all over the world did not know about the rich Islamic heritage which was the foundation of our modern world. From this context we can see how the house of wisdom which was a great scientific academy and a library which include scholars from all the world and from different religions under the management of Muslims Caliph and their vision for creation, innovation and motivated all people to create and invent and he support them by the necessary technologies and suitable environment. Thus, the concept of knowledge management and principles was applied in house of wisdom since thousands of years and it has proven its success and it helped to raise and support the original inventions and to transfer it from a generation to another. This paper, represent a solution to the universities and especially the Islamic universities to promote their rankings and optimizing their state, by the merge between the Islamic heritage and knowledge management to result a successful organisation such as bayt el hikmah and to build a new generations who are aware of the greatness of Islam and of muslin scientists and who have the mind set of innovation and sharing knowledge.

Abstract: Cloud  computing  has  formed  the  conceptual  and  infrastructural  basis  for  tomorrow’s  computing.  The global computing infrastructure is rapidly moving towards cloud based architecture.  While it is important to take advantages  of could based computing by means of deploying it in diversified  sectors, the security aspects in a cloud based computing environment remains at the core of interest. Cloud based services and service providers are being evolved which has resulted in a new business trend based on cloud technology. With  the  introduction  of  numerous  cloud  based  services  and  geographically   dispersed  cloud  service providers,  sensitive  information  of different  entities  are normally  stored in remote servers and locations with the possibilities  of being exposed to unwanted  parties in situations  where the cloud servers  storing those information are compromised.  If security is not robust and consistent, the flexibility and advantages that cloud computing has to offer will have little credibility.  This paper presents a review on the cloud computing concepts as well as security issues inherent within the context of cloud computing and cloud infrastructure.

Abstract: Today the world is rapidly changing and technology is zooming exponentially, the number of users of internet is also increasing rapidly which cause increase in traffic and causes more no of failures in transmission of packets. The backbone process of the global internet or any internal network is Routing. Existing routing techniques includes static and dynamic routing which are implemented using routing algorithms like RIP, EIGRP, OSPF, IS-IS. These routing algorithms intelligently route the packets on the network. There are many scenarios where a packet is sent, the routing algorithm finds an appropriate path for the packet, routes it and it is delivered. There are cases where packets do not get delivered because of many reasons like link failures. A method to find an alternate path, after a link failure, from a source node to a destination node, before the Interior Gateway Protocol (e.g., OSPF or IS-IS) reroutes the packet by notifying the sender which takes about 100ms. A smarter way to deliver the packet is to reroute the packets from the last successful node. In this method an alternate route is found out instantly after a node failure, and updating the routing table of other nodes according to the new route. The target application (up to tens of nodes) accesses the sub-network of a service provider’s network, which is a typical scale, encountered in practice; a service provider typically has many such small regional access networks. The fast reroute method would establish a new path from the source to destination in a much lesser time than the existing system i.e. IGP (OSPF).

Abstract: Since there is an ever increasing in the transportation and number of vehicles, it leads to the increase in the rate of accidents. Due to the immense traffic in the city, the ambulances do not reach the hospital at an appropriate time, which in turn leads to loss of life. Therefore keeping these in mind, we implement our idea of tracking the ambulance through the GPS and tackle the problem of traffic and reach the hospital before the expected time. Abstract: Mobile ad-hoc networks use wireless connections to connect various networks. This can be standard Wi-Fi connection, or any other medium such as a satellite transmission or cellular network. Routing protocols is the term which refers to a formula or protocol used by a router to determine the appropriate path over which data is transmitted [1]. The routing protocol specifies how routers in a network share information with each other and work each other. Most internet protocol network use Ad-hoc On-demand Distance Vector (AODV), Destination Sequence Distance Vector (DSDV), Dynamic Source Routing (DSR). Some of these respective protocols have been studied and their performances have been analyzed focusing on aspects like consumption of energy, packet delivery ratio, life time of Network etc. In this paper, a performance analysis of the DSR (Dynamic Source Routing), AODV (Ad-Hoc on Demand Distance Vector) and DSDV (Destination Sequenced Distance Vector) routing protocols is evaluated on the basis of energy efficiency metrics by varying nodes, connections and pause time. We done the simulations by using NS-2(version NS-2. 34). At last we analyze the best energy saving protocol.

Abstract: In today’s world, there is a tremendous amount of data generated and available on social networking websites. Researchers are always on  the lookout for huge amounts of data for analysis purpose and hence, this type of data obtained from such sites can be of great use for them. One of the major problem in social networking is that the user can send friend request to anyone they know or they don’t know and are more prone to get false data or reviews. Accepting friend requests does not determine how strong the friendship is. One of our major objectives is to determine the friendship strength between two users based on the interactions between them. The users’ privacy here, is an important concern and thus we would be performing the mining in a purely ethical manner.  Based on this friendship strength of the user, we are going to perform targeted advertisement by posting advertisement of various products and also generate true reviews about that product by collecting individual reviews of each user. The targeted advertising will not only help in posting advertisements of products that are of the users interest but will also boost businesses since only those advertisements will be posted to the users page that the user is more likely to buy. We can state that the reviews obtained on our website for trending products were true. The products who got good positive reviews on our site were true because we have verified about the popularity of these products. The Market demand for these products rose highly to a great level and hence, we can conclude that our system gives true reviews.

Abstract: Data deduplication is one of important data compression techniques for eliminating duplicate copies of repeating data and has been widely used in cloud storage in order to minimize the amount of storage space and save bandwidth. For protection of data security, this paper makes an attempt to primarily address the problem of authorized data deduplication. To protect the confidentiality of important data while supporting deduplication, the convergent encryption technique has been proposed to encrypt the data before outsourcing. Along with the data the privilege level of the user is also checked in order to assure whether he is an authorised user or not. Security analysis demonstrates that our scheme is secure in terms of the definitions specified in the proposed security model. We show that our proposed authorized duplicate check scheme has minimal overhead compared to normal operations. As a proof of concept, we implement a prototype of our proposed authorized duplicate check scheme and conduct tested experiments using our prototype. This paper tries to minimize the data duplication that occurs in hybrid cloud storage by using various techniques.

Abstract: Personalized web search (PWS) has demonstrated its effectiveness in improving the quality of various search services on the Internet. However, evidences show that users’ reluctance to disclose their private information during search has become a major barrier for the wide proliferation of PWS. We study privacy protection in PWS applications that model user preferences as hierarchical user profiles. We propose a PWS framework called UPS that can adaptively generalize profiles by queries while respecting user specified privacy requirements. Our runtime generalization aims at striking a balance between two predictive metrics that evaluate the utility of personalization and the privacy risk of exposing the generalized profile. We present two greedy algorithms, namely Greedy DP and Greedy IL, for runtime generalization. We also provide an online prediction mechanism for deciding whether personalizing a query is beneficial. Extensive experiments demonstrate the effectiveness of our framework. The experimental results also reveal that Greedy IL significantly outperforms Greedy DP in terms of efficiency.

Abstract: Access to computer systems is most frequently based on the use of alphanumeric passwords. However, users have difficulty remembering a password that is long and random-appearing. Instead, create short, simple, and insecure passwords. Graphical passwords have been designed to try to make passwords more memorable and easier for people to use and more secure. Using a graphical password, users click on images rather than type alphanumeric characters. Designing a new and more secure graphical password system called Pass Points. In Pass Points system, its security characteristics, and the observed study we carried out comparing Pass Points to alphanumeric passwords. The results show that the graphical group took larger and made more errors in learning the password, but that the difference was mostly a result of just a few graphical participants who had difficulty learning to use graphical passwords. In the longitudinal trial the two groups performed similarly on memory of their password, but the graphical group took more time to input a password.

Abstract: Authentication is a process that ensures and confirms user’s identity. Studies have shown that user tend to pick short passwords or passwords that are not easily forgotten. But both Textual, graphical password have issues of hacking and cloning. Hence we propose a technique, where text can be combined with images or colors to generate passwords for authentication. This paper provides authentication using different color codes rankings based on the current time of the system. Also the chances of hacking are vey less as the color password changes after every one minute. It is a two step authentication process as it uses color codes as well as unique PIN number for each user.
