Abstract: This paper gives a view of the fusion of different modality images i.e. PET (Positron Emission Tomography) and MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) by integrating the DWT2 method. The decomposed coefficients of DWT2 (discrete wavelet transformation2) are applied to get fused image information. Before that, we decomposes DWT coefficients and averaging the approximate part of DWT coefficients and then reconstruct using inverse DWT to get the fussed image of two modalities MRI& PET. So that we get fused image of both anatomic, spectral information in one image, we used normal axial, and normal coronal, brain images as the three datasets for testing and fusing. Experimental results show that the performance of proposed fusion method is better than that of IHS+RIM fusion method in terms of spectral discrepancy (SD) and average gradient (AG). In fact, this method is superior to IHS+RIM method both visually and quantitatively.

Abstract: Accurately detecting humans under occlusion in images plays a critically important role in many computer vision applications. Extraction of effective features is the key to this task. Promising features should be discriminative, robust to various variations and easy to compute. In this paper, we present center-symmetric local binary patterns (CS-LBP) and Histogram of oriented gradients (HOG), for human detection with occlusion. HOG feature calculates the gradient magnitude and the gradient direction of the local image. The main drawback of HOG feature extraction is that, it does not work well with different texture and pose of human and accuracy of detection is less. Rather than using LBP for feature extraction, we use CS-LBP because LBP produces long histogram and are not too robust on flat image areas. The CS-LBP feature captures both gradient information and texture information and works well on flat image areas. So we combine HOG and CS-LBP method for better human detection with occlusion. Experiments on the INRIA pedestrian dataset show that the combination of CS-LBP feature and HOG feature with linear support vector machines (SVMs) gives better result for human detection under occlusion.

Abstract: the Rubik's Cube is perhaps the worlds most famous and iconic puzzle, well-known to have a rich underlying mathematical structure matrix. We show that the Rubik's Cube also has a rich underlying algorithmic structure. This paper tackled recruitment of computer to solve Rubik's cube 3×3×3 through a proposed algorithm by Edge-Centric matching that is moving edge center pieces towards their base colors by movements of faces as clockwise and anticlockwise directions. Dimension of the cube are Three layers, Upper-face (U) and Down face (D), Left-face (L), Right-face (R), Front-face (F). In case direction in anti-clockwise represent with faces ‘i’, Example Ri right-face rotates in anti-clockwise. The algorithm starts with Upper-face and top-layer, Next second layer, and third layer as well as bottom-layer will get matches. This method shows the new approach for solving Rubik’s.

Abstract: The rapid  change in the market needs had represent a challenge and request more work and adaption from the educational organizations to this change by changing their plans, strategies and curriculums in order to be able to sustain and graduate students who have the skills and knowledge that make them able to compete in the whole world. Actually, this challenge was facing all the universities worldwide especially the Islamic universities which has a special and different vision and goals based not only on the scientific knowledge but in the holistic development of the students. For this, this empirical analysis was done to prove the efficiency of having the knowledge management as a tool in addition to the knowledge legacy from the Islamic golden age as a way to improve the Islamic universities performance. Also, how we can make link between the current universities and the old Islamic universities such as house of wisdom to extract lessons and learn from this successful pattern which was the main point of creativity, innovation  and the place  where most of the inventions which are the base of our modern world was invented in that university or academy. This research was based on empirical findings conducted from interviews with a number of professionals who had experience of work in Islamic universities and who came from different background and levels.

Abstract: Apache Hadoop is the Java based open source platform that makes processing of large data possible over thousands of the distributed nodes and hadoop development resulted from publication of the two Google authored white papers like Google File System and the Google MapReducing. There are numerous vendor-specific distributions available based on Apache Hadoop and from the companies such as Cloud era (CDH), the Horton works (1X/2X) and Map (M3/M5). From the addition, appliance-based solutions are offered by many vendors like IBM and Oracle.

Hadoop distributed file system (HDFS) is the basic component of the Hadoop framework that manages the data stora and it stores the data in the form of the data blocks [default size is: 64M]) on hard disk and the input data size defines the block size. A block size is 128MB for the large file set is the good choice.

Abstract: In the recent times, most of the systems connected to Internet are getting infected with the malware and some of these systems are becoming zombies for the attacker. When user knowingly or unknowingly visits a malware website, his system gets infected. Attackers do this by exploiting the vulnerabilities in the web browser and acquire control over the underlying operating system. Once attacker compromises the users web browser, he can instruct the browser to visit the attackers website by using number of redirections. During the process, user’s web browser downloads the malware without the intervention of the user. Once the malware is downloaded, it would be placed in the file system and responds as per the instructions of the attacker. These types of attacks are known as Drive by Download attacks. Now-a-days, Drive by Download is the major channel for delivering the Malware. In this paper, JavaScript malware detection an extension to the browser is presented for detecting and defending against Drive by Download attacks via HTML tags and JavaScript.

Abstract: Three hundred and fifty thousand Android phones are activated each day. It is easy for third-parties to develop and distribute applications, since by the open source from Google. This will the same applies to malicious applications that pose a real threat to users’ privacy. Increased popularity of the Android devices and associated monetary benefits attracted the malware developers, resulting in big rise of the Android malware apps. In this survey, we discuss the Android security enforcement mechanisms, threats to the existing security enforcements and related issues, malware growth timeline. This study introducing the enhancement of current security policy by adopting different components. This methodology provides a platform to the researchers for the next generation Android security.

Abstract: Today’s location-sensitive service depends on user’s mobile device to determine the current location. This leads malicious users to access restricted resource by cheating on their locations. To resolve this, proposed A Privacy-Preserving location proof Updating System (APPLAUS) in which collocated Wi-Fi enabled systems mutually generate location proofs and send updates to a location proof server. Periodically changed pseudonyms are used by the systems to protect source location privacy from each other, and from the untrusted location proof server. Also developed user-centric location privacy model where the individual users evaluate their location privacy levels and decide whether and when to accept location proof requests. APPLAUS can be implemented with existing network infrastructure, and can be easily deployed in Wi-Fi enabled systems with low power cost. Further experimental results show that APPLAUS can effectively provide location proofs, significantly provide source location privacy, and it detects colluding attacks.

Abstract: Task structure for issues in design of search programs is done by analyzing a general class of methods; the task structure is constructed by identifying a range of methods for each task. For each method, the knowledge needed and the subtasks that it sets up are identified. Most of the subtasks are not really specific to design as such. The analysis shows that there is no one ideal method for design and good design problem solving is a result of recursively selecting methods based on a number of criteria, including knowledge availability There is no crystal clear criteria for issues in search of a design process, Analysis of problems gives us enormous solutions and inclearity, selecting best is the high time problem faced by designers. Abstract: Cloud computing is a major paradigm in the technology world. Load balancing has the major impact on the performance of the cloud. Thus, an effective load balancing plays an important role in the different aspects of the cloud. Even though there are several load balancing techniques available, the article provides a different way of load balancing based on the technique of partitioning of cloud based on geographical locations and a switch mechanism is used to select the partitions. The technique uses Hungarian method of assignment problem to improve the efficiency of the load balancing technique in the public cloud environment.

Abstract: In order to have intelligent computers, or robots, they will need to be able to understand the world, and to understand it, they must have knowledge of it. One need both the large amount of knowledge and some mechanism for manipulating that knowledge to create solution to problem. Abstract: DBMS technology is used to handle fact and rules, expert system which is developed on databases. For expert system frame-based expert are used as the knowledge representation. Facts that are stored in DB can be loaded into expert system knowledge base. Inference engine is used to perform inference. In several cases, external facts are required many times for each inference. Hence, a lot of communication traffic will exists. This paper present the design and implementation of object-relation DB system using frame-based which has a bound between expert system and external knowledge base. Even external knowledge base will use frame as its knowledge representation. In fact, it has its own inference engine so that inference can be performed on the knowledge base side and results are sent back to the expert system for further inference.
