Abstract: Traditional management forms in many software development organizations required employees to keep time and work tirelessly at their postings until a particular task is done. The sad practice was that the management never gave the employees or their workers platforms for recreation and health benefiting activities. As a result, many companies would lose lump sum resources in dealing with the health effects of the ill health of the workers and would consequently lose their profits for the time the workers were absent due to the ill health caused by continuous work. The paper makes a comparison between traditional forms of management vis a vis modern management forms which take into account the social life of the employee, their health and happiness as well. The paper presents the view that when a software developer works in a team and group, their creativity and service delivery are greatly improved and their happiness makes them look forward to being a part of the team.

Abstract: A Database is a collection of data describing the activities of one or more related organizations with a specific well defined structure and purpose. A Database is controlled by Database Management System (DBMS) by maintaining and utilizing large collections of data. Distributed computer applications built from off the shelf hardware and software are increasingly common at networked computers communicate and coordinate their activity only by passing messages. Distributed Database System the database is stored/spread physically across computers or sites in different locations that are connected together by some form of data communication network. They may be spread over WAN or LAN.

Abstract: The Android Debug Bridge (ADB) has attracted much attention from researchers, because it has a high privilege level and a low level of protection. Many attacks on Android systems have taken advantage of the security holes of ADB. Thus, in the updating patch of Android 4.2.2, a new security feature secure USB debugging was implemented so that only trusted hosts can use ADB. This research provides a detailed introduction of the ADB Tool and also studies the features of Android Rooting. Finally, some suggestions are proposed for security improvements to address threats introduced by the ADB tool.

Abstract: Distributing and replicating data are techniques that are used to improve performance on information systems. Most applications such as Web-based services and electronic commerce use the method of data replication. In this paper I will present a partially delayed replication database management system that can be applied on computer applications. Files used in a computer application can be separated as master files and transaction files and be treated in different way as to achieve a better performance of the system.
The management system for a distributed database system that I am suggesting on this paper I believe it can provide very good feasibility and applicability of DDBMSs for most of business applications.

Abstract: Mobile Ad hoc Network (MANET) is one amongst the foremost necessary and distinctive applications. MANET doesn't need a set of network infrastructure; each single node acts as a transmitter and a receiver and they trust their neighbors to relay messages. Nodes can communicates directly with one another if the communication range is small otherwise make use of relay nodes. The self-configuring ability of nodes in MANET makes it more popular and used in applications like military use or emergency recovery. Unfortunately, the open medium and remote distribution of MANET leads to numerous kinds of attacks. So, it is difficult to develop successful intrusion-detection mechanisms to protect MANET from attacks. The proposed smart jamming algorithm helps to increase the system secrecy capacity. The key exchange and encryption mechanism with the help of IBS scheme provides the additional security and forward data among the nodes. RREQ and RREP process helps to detect the malicious node in the transmission and mark the detected node in the block table. The nodes are organized in spanning tree fashion in order to avoid forming cycles.

Abstract: Big data application has become an imperative for companies across a wide variety of industries. One of the critical decisions facing companies embarking on big data projects is which database to use, and often that decision swings between SQL and NoSQL. SQL programming language have long been the top -- and, in many cases, only --choice of database technologies for organizations. SQL has already earned its stripes in large organizations and big data is just one more job that powerfully built. NoSQL is SQL has the impressive track record, the large installed base, but NoSQL is making impressive gains and has many proponents. NoSQL is increasingly being considered a possible alternative to relational databases, especially for Big Data applications.SQL & NOSQL databases and tries to answer which of these is better for big data application in terms of its performance, scalability, flexibility and many more.

Abstract: An informal focused group discussion by tertiary-level educators, a computer programmer and graduate students on the various issues surrounding the effectiveness of online education platforms elicited ideas that conceptualized the design of a software interface that can be the standard of future developments in the field of online education. It was further refined by the researcher through a series of heuristic inquiries and after studying existing platforms in the web. The functionality of the design was then shown and explained to teacher respondents who valued its user-friendliness and potential in delivering graduate distance education. Moreover, it was felt that it also supported an environment where student-teacher interactions are actively carried out. It thus filled established gaps in online learning such as the lack of interactivity, social connectedness, and teacher presence.

Abstract: In Malaysia, the developments of software or apps for mobile devices are becoming quite famous especially in recent years. Research had shown that huge number of people in Malaysia owns mobile device. Even kids have their own device which had become their personal belongings. However, not all apps that reside in mobile phone can bring benefit to kids. A lot of apps developed for kids are mostly not academics or religious compliance. A lot of them are games that at one point can bring bad influence for them. In order to contribute to the society and religions, a project called iTajweed apps is initiated. iTajweed is an apps that provide easy learning of tajweed using any mobile devices. It aims to guide the kids in learning the basic of Al-Quran. This apps provide interactive learning which is suitable for kids and accessible everywhere. A lot of effort has been poured to improve these apps in terms of designs, materials and method of teaching. This paper will discuss more thoroughly about this project and the BMC (Business Model Canvas) also covers VPD (Value Proposition Design).

Abstract: A Three-layer framework for mobile data gathering in Wireless sensor Networks, which includes the sensor layer, cluster head layer and mobile collector (called SenCar) Layer. The Framework employs distributed Load Balanced Clustering and Dual Data Uploading which is referred to LBC_DDU scheme. At the sensor layer, a distributed load balanced clustering algorithm is proposed for sensors to self-organize themselves into cluster. The Trajectory Planning for SenCar is optimized to fully utilize dual data uploading capability by properly selecting polling points in each cluster. By visiting each selected polling point, SenCar can efficiently gather data from cluster heads and transport the data to the static data sink.

Abstract: Now days purchasing and shopping at big mall becoming a daily activity in metro cities .We can see huge rush at malls on holidays and weekends. The rush is even more when there are special offers and discount. People purchase different items and put them in trolley. After total purchase one needs to go to billing counter for payments. Usually more time is consumed in preparing the bill than shopping. At the billing counter the cashier prepare the bill using bar code reader which is a time consuming process and results in long queues at billing counters. Our aim is to develop a system that can be used in shopping malls to solve the above mentioned challenge. The system will be placed in all the trolleys. It will consist of a RFID reader. All the products in the mall will be equipped with RFID tags. When a person puts any products in the trolley, its code will be detected and the price of those products will be stored in memory. As we put the products, the costs will get added to total bill. If the product is removed from the trolley its bill will be automatically deducted .Thus the billing will be done in the trolley itself. Item name and its cost will be displayed on LCD. Further we will send the bill and other details of the product to a local server where all the information will be saved and that information will be useful for inventory management. We provide counters which will be useful for people for bill payment. This system will make shopping easy and will reduce time loss.

Abstract: In Distributed Database Systems concurrency control is very important for transaction execution time and communication costs. In this paper I suggest a new method of concurrency control giving high priority in 3 read transactions which are waiting in the queue, every time an exclusive lock (after the execution of a write transaction) is released. This way the execution time is reduced significantly and at the same time read transactions waiting in the queue are executed and released from the queue without burdening the runtime of waiting write transactions. In the worst case, when many write transactions are waiting one after the other to be granted an exclusive lock and then served, granting a shared lock to 3 read transactions right after a write transaction has released it’s lock, the waiting time of these transactions is reduced significantly. Besides all these, we overcome the disadvantages of the traditional locking mechanism for Distributed Database Systems (DDBS), like the low transaction concurrency and the high communication costs.
