Abstract: In case of popularity, many unique traffic problems are directly caused by the high density of Vehicles in particular, road traffic safety has been the main concern for the vehicle riders. Vehicle collision and traffic avoidance system that can identify red-light runners (RLRs) at intersections will be discussed. When the RLR behaviour is detected, the system would advise the RLR to slow down immediately and warn nearby vehicles on the intersecting road in real-time. In particular, not to consider the infrastructure-based solutions such as those utilizing radar or a camera. This is because, in addition to high implementation costs, collisions can be only avoided at intersections where such infrastructure configurations are deployed. Instead, an advance an on-vehicle solution using Smartphone carried by vehicle riders. Smartphone provide a useful platform that has a high penetration rate, more than sufficient computational power, inertial sensors to reflect the driving behaviour, and the communication capability to transmit and receive information from other vehicles. By using this behaviour we will easily avoid the traffic and collision between vehicles. To avoid the majority of injuries and deaths in traffic accidents, Red app can be used. Advantage of Red app low cost effective, feasible on regular priced vehicles are included.

Abstract: Wireless Sensor Networks are often deployed in unfavourable situations where an assailant can physically capture some of the nodes, first for reprogram the node and then, it occurs replicate them in a large number of clones, easily taking control over the network. This replication node is also called the Clone node. The clone node behaves as a legitimate node or original node. In node replication attack detecting the clone node important issue in Wireless Sensor Networks. A few distributed solutions have been recently proposed, but they are not satisfactory .First, they are energy and memory demanding: A serous drawback for any protocol to be used in the WSN-resource compactness environment. In this project first investigate the selection criteria of clone detection schemes with regard to device type, detection methodologies, deployment strategies, and detection ranges. Further, they are vulnerable to the specific assailant models introduced in this paper. The contributions of this work are threefold. First analyze the desirable properties of a distributed mechanism for the detection of node replication attacks. Second show that the known solutions for this problem do not completely meet our requirements. Third it may consist of sequential probability ratio test protocol using for this algorithm to identify the detection of node replication attacks, and show that it satisfies the introduced requirements. Our implementation specifies, user will specify its ID that means client id, secret key will be create, and then include the port number. The witness node will verify the internally bounded user id and secret key. The witness node means original node. If the verification is success, the information collecting to the packets that packets are send to the destination.

Abstract: The complexity and the scope of engineering profession run parallel to those of various processes in the production of goods and services for human wants. Therefore the quality of engineering graduates from Nigerian Universities and polytechnics has been major subject of concern from most industries in Nigeria. Lack of appropriate practical skill acquisition in engineering training has been a subject of concern in developing countries. Thus, the paper examines the impact of teaching methods of the quality of graduates engineers produced for the industrial utilization and x-rays the relevance of the present engineering structure and curricula in some core engineering fields by carrying out a survey of some engineering faculties in some of the universities and polytechnics in south west Nigeria. The study shows lack of coordination in curricula development and dissemination between the institutions, industries and students. The study posited that in reforming education to benefit the industries (local and international) teaching method should connect both resource manpower and facilities from both the industries and institutions.

Abstract: Internet of Things (IoT) is currently changing the world, In addition, its applications cut across all human endeavors. The challenges are: how can IoT become a successful and sustainable technology in the nearest future just like its mother the "internet" and any other successful technologies? How can IoT successfully be an integral part of our daily lives in a sustainable manner? This paper proposes new IoT architecture with design styles at each layer of the architecture. The architecture is proposed with the aim to facilitate sustainable adoption of IoT, applications in our society. It looks more into bridging the gap between IoT demands and supplies by connecting public and business values of IoT on one hand and technologies and applications of IoT on the other. Recommending architecture design styles at each layer will ensure rapid development and reuse of IoT solutions and the platform layer where IoT is offered as service will encourage more access to and development of IoT applications and services. It takes care of security and privacy issues at every layer of the architecture.

The main objective of this paper is to propose a new architecture and architectural design styles to ensure increased and sustainable adoption, rapid development and reuse of IoT systems and applications.

Abstract: The essential and important aspect of operating system is multiprogramming. Multiprogramming is a process or method of executing multiple processes simultaneously in the memory. Its main aim to minimize the average waiting time, average turnaround time and maximize the CPU utilization. There are various CPU scheduling algorithms are used to performed multiprogramming like First Come First Serve (FCFS), Shortest Job First (SJF), Priority Scheduling (PS) and Round Robin(RR).The most widely used scheduling algorithm is Round robin scheduling among all of them. It is an optimal CPU scheduling algorithms in timeshared systems.

This paper presents a new approach that will help to reduce the average waiting time and turnaround time. The proposed algorithm is also compared with various variants of Round Robin algorithm. It produces minimal average waiting time and average turnaround time. In this approach we use mean and median to calculate the time quantum which will improve the effectiveness of the algorithm.

Abstract: Organisations and individuals have greatly embraced Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) in their operations in order to reap the best of benefits from systems, networks, software platforms, and even Internet services. However, by organisations and users relying heavily on ICTs and cyberspace, challenges arises  to ensure that critical data, information and files belonging to organisations and users are securely protected against unauthorized access, theft, modification or destruction by the iPredators whether in their storage servers or while in transit between user accounts or web servers. To maintain strong information technology and information security posture, huge investments are made on acquiring equipments, systems and technologies to secure data and Information assets. In spite of this, users and organisations continue to suffer huge losses due to compromised systems and networks arising from loss of user data and sensitive information through unauthorized access by iPredators. To avoid the risks involved while attempting to break into the highly secured computer systems and networks, the iPredators prefer deceiving the end users into diverting access information to them (iPredators) in order to circumvent computer security and execute attacks against the targets. This paper therefore sought to investigate the digital and online habits or activities by end users that make them most susceptible to iPredators’ social engineering attacks. The researcher adopted the quantitive research design. A purposive sampling technique was adopted to identify the respondents who were to participate in the study’s survey. Online survey technique was adopted by the study using structured questionnaire.

Abstract: In most recent years, many interesting applications for mobile devices are designed to improve our living quality and deal with house care issues under Android framework. Communication during disaster time is very crucial for both rescue team and victim. Emergency never comes with prior intimation. In this paper, an Emergency Notification Services Application for Mobile Devices will be designed to enable to automatically search nearby hospital/police office and provide contact information. This System is intended to function in case of emergencies in society like Fire, Medical Emergencies, accident and External Emergencies (Earthquake, Floods, Strom, etc) and it will be designed using a Freeware, named APP Inventor. In Position function, the position information is provided via GPS or networks. In the application, the position function of GPS and an easy used interface capable for sending emergency notification messages or phone calls are included. The application design has five parts: a mobile client, a application server, a database, GPS system and a map service. A mobile client who consists of a mobile and GPS receiver finds the location of the user to get aware of his location. In order to share this location the mobile client sends this location to the application server from where other users can get this location if they have the authentication provided by the user.

Abstract: Information and Communication Technology (ICT) has placed major impacts on our activities, tasks and professions. With the versatility of today’s technology and ICT devices that can make things available just at our “finger tips” or just “within a click” , some might find their days are always brighter and some do not. Big Data and Internet of Things contribute to the digital tsunami that has flooded our “clouds”, causes the influx of information for everybody to make use of it. As a consequence, almost all sectors, institutions and individuals are struggling to take advantages of this digital technology. Nowadays, many businesses prospered or defeated as a result of the digital technology. This paper will focus on sharing economy, the sustainability drivers and how ICT facilitates sharing economy business model. Further, the paper discusses the value propositions of the sharing economy companies: Uber and Airbnb. These two companies are then compared in terms of their value propositions of the Business Model Canvas to see how applications of ICT are adopted in delivering values to customers and supply chain and in accordance with the five pillars of sharing economy.

Abstract:  Higher education enrolment in Malaysia has increased by 70% to 1.2 million students over the last 10 years. The growth rate of research output and quality has been one of the highest in the world, and Malaysian institutions are ranked strongly amongst our Asian peers. Malaysia is also now a top 10 destination for international students. This paper identifies the main forces impacting the higher education industry locally and globally, and the opportunities, challenges and implications. It also lists the emerging trends of higher education and technology, understand the model of university of the future and examines different business models for online higher education. The findings can use to develop a new IT Strategic Plan (ISP) for transformation to university of the future in Malaysia.

Abstract: In this paper we are going to discuss the working strategy of an optimized link state routing protocol for MANETs. OLSR routing protocol is suited for large and heavy mobile network as optimization is achieved with the help of MPRs. There is different type of routing protocol present in market but OLSR is one of the routing protocols which are reliable for dense networks, in which traffic exist more due to the maximum number of mobile devices. Optimized link state routing protocol is works on link state algorithm. Protocol is proactive in nature also known as table-driven routing approach. Key concept used in OLSR routing protocol is multipoint relays (MPRs). In case of flooding process, MPRs are used to forward broadcast messages. MPRs technique significantly decreases the message overhead as compared to a traditional flooding technique. OLSR routing protocol provides the optimal routes for the transmission of messages.

We find out that in order to cope with the key trend today, the organization need to optimize the usage of technology in their organization. Abstract: The enhancements in the governmental system, social and spiritual aspects are viewed as important towards preparation of the Malaysian Vision 2020. Vision 2020 is an ideal Malaysian introduced by the former Prime Minister of Malaysia, Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad during the tabling of the Sixth Malaysia Planning 1991 (Mahathir, 2008). The vision calls for the nation to achieve a self-sufficient industrialized nation by the year 2020, encompasses of all aspects of life including economic prosperity, social well-being, educational world class, political stability and balance in psychological. For example, the government of Malaysia has put an effort in term of programs and budgets in ensuring the public sector is being managed efficiently, effectively and systematically. This study aims to propose transformation of Jabatan Agama Islam Wilayah Persekutuan (JAWI) as one of the world class organizations. Data were collected via interviews that had been conducted from public officers of JAWI. The proposed transformation is based on Public Service Transformation Framework (PSTF) that focuses on five strategic thrusts of talent development, organizational development, citizen- centric service delivery, inclusivity and ownership, and enculturation of shared values of patriotism, ethos and integrity. This transformation program emphasizes the need and prioritization of services that is required by the citizens or Rakyat, where JAWI’s business processes are defined by its customer segment and enabled by technology. JAWI may have to change the way it deals with every part of its value chain be developing an internet-based solution. The winning digital organisations are versatile and scalable. Besides, literature review and Business Model Canvas framework will be used as the methodology in this study.

Abstract: This paper aims to digitally transform a chosen organization and make it more efficient, better at productivity and performance finally into a profit center from a previously cost center. The organization selected for this paper is the Faculty of Economics and Management science. It is a well-known department of the University of ABC. For too long this university has been running its operations in the same way. To honor the philosophy of Continuous Quality Improvement, this paper will try to discover ways to improve the situation by eliminating the constraints which are faced by the university and the faculty as well as the transformation. The methodologies used for this paper are a literature review, interviewing both customers and employee, MAMPU and Malaysian Education Blueprint.
