Abstract: In this paper, I  propose packet control algorithms to be deployed in intermediate network routers. They improve TCP performance in wireless networks with packet delay variations and long sudden packet delays. The ns-2 simulation results show that the proposed algorithms reduce the adverse effect of spurious fast retransmits and timeouts and greatly improve the goodput compared to the performance of TCP Reno. The TCP goodput was improved by ~30% in wireless networks with 1% packet loss. TCP performance was also improved in cases of long sudden delays. These improvements highly depend on the wireless link characteristics.

It is very important to understand the presence of mind using face expression such as the situation of mind can be read by their mouth, eyes, eyebrows etc. these plays an important role in the classification of human beings. Distinct faces are used to classify the facial expression (like sadness, happiness, fear, disgusting, surprise and anger), Other expression except these are called ‘Neutral’ expression, identity of these expressions can be identified by the level of its dissimilarities from the neutral expression.

Still there are so many disadvantages in it.  Here, we present to you a new password technique of the type Graphical which deals with authentication through image. The graphical data represents billions of bytes of information and thus provide lot of password space. Thus graphical password provides a way of making more human friendly passwords while increasing the level of security.

Abstract: A very important component in any network deployment now a day’s is Privacy. Users are willing to enjoy the network services without letting their identity. Anonymity comes in to picture which means not letting the user identity whenever he is accessing the benefits of the network. This anonymity condition is important for few services e.g. Social Networking. But there are few services where user has to revel his identity e.g. on-line payment system, Internet banking or on-line transaction.  Wireless Mesh Network (WMN) are our main targets. However, not all the users are honest when they are using the network services; there are certain situations where users are involved in misbehaving activities. To revels user identity Consequently we need a system. Pseudonym techniques are suitable for this kind of problems. The honest users and misbehaving users in the Wireless mesh network are conditionally traced out by this system. In this paper, A Secure Ticket Based tracing system is developed that mainly serves the above specified condition. Furthermore this proposed architecture not only used to trace the user activities, it is also guaranties to hold the fundamental security aspects like validation, endorsement, Data Protection.

Abstract: SQL injection is a technique where the attacker injects an input in the query in order to change the structure of the query intended by the programmer and gaining the access of the database which results modification or deletion of the user’s data. In the injection it exploits a security vulnerability occurring in database layer of an application. SQL injection attack is the most common attack in websites in these days. Some malicious codes get injected to the database by unauthorized users and get the access of the database due to lack of input validation. Input validation is the most critical part of software security that is not properly covered in the design phase of software development life-cycle resulting in many security vulnerabilities. This paper presents the techniques for detection and prevention of SQL injection attack. There are no any known full proof defences available against such type of attacks. In this paper some predefined method of detection and the some modern techniques of preventions are discussed. This paper also describes countermeasures of SQL injection.

Abstract:  Transmission Control Protocol (TCP) is considered one of the most important protocol in the internet. An important mechanism in TCP is the congestion control mechanism which controls TCP sending rate & makes TCP react to congestion signals. Now a days, TCP may work in n/w with some links that have lossy nature (ex. Wireless network). TCP treats all packet losses if they due to congestion. TCP reduces sending rate aggressively when there are transmission errors in an uncongested network. In this paper I present different solutions to overcome the performance degradation problem TCP faces when working over lossy links. Many solutions have been proposed but I will concentrate on end to end solutions that require no help from the intermediate network.

Abstract: Spatial  data  mining,  i.e.,  mining  knowledge  from  large amounts of spatial data, is a highly demanding  field because huge amounts of spatial data have been collected in various applications,  ranging from remote sensing, to geographical information systems (GIS), computer cartography, environ-mental  assessment  and  planning,  etc.  The collected data for exceeded human's ability to analyze.  Recent studies on data mining have extended the scope of data mining from relational and transactional databases to spatial databases. This paper summarizes recent works on spatial data mining, from spatial data generalization, to spatial data clustering, mining spatial association rules, etc.  It shows that spatial data mining is a promising field, with fruitful research results and many challenging issues.
