Abstract: We cannot prevent accident or outages in business even with low probability risk, major outages could destroy a company, if it does not have an effective business continuity plan or disaster recovery plan. It may impact its reputation severely.  This paper discusses the importance of such plan with the risk and cost analysis related to disaster recovery. The design of network should be tolerance for failure and consider redundancy for devices which has high impact on the operations. The network team should practice hardening the network equipment's by disabling unsecure protocols and fix vulnerabilities in timely manner. In addition, design a portable communication room that can be used in case of major outage take place. Also define the location of these portables that will help in fast recovery of services. Finally discuss the importance of conducting regular drills and assure the effectiveness of disaster recovery plan.

Abstract: For an economy to attain overall greatness and steady growth there has to be strategies planned and implemented. An achieving and stable economy should offer quality education, good health facilities and services, little or no poverty, job opportunities and fence gender inequality as these are the building blocks of humans and the society at large. This paper offers a conceptual business model for a Malaysian University-of-the-Future (UotF) with the value proposition of enhancing the societal wellbeing of B40 youth in Nigeria through digital platform and university international community engagement (UICE) activities with focus on balanced entrepreneurship education. Enhancing societal wellbeing include balanced education, reduced poverty, decent work and economic growth, good health and gender fairness. The conceptual business model is developed through understanding the needs of B40 youth in Nigeria by using business modeling tools i.e. Business Model Canvas (BMC) and Value Proposition Design Canvas (VPC). The approach involves carrying out a literature review and interviews to identify key issues of Customer Segments, formulating and devising an initial business model – in the form of BMC and VPC, and value proposition that helps to enhance the wellbeing of B40 youth in Nigeria.  The contribution of this paper is a conceptual business model of the Malaysian UotF which includes a digital platform and university international community engagement (UICE) activities with focus on balanced entrepreneurship education. The UotF business model proposed in this paper will aid communities and the general society in Nigeria to acquire the relevant skills, knowledge, values, and platform needed to furnish the societal wellbeing.

Abstract: Information Technology (IT) services plays a significant role to preform day-to-day operations in all organizations. Any unexpected outages in IT services may cause major financial loss due to business disruption.  However, there are mandatory alterations executed frequently in IT infrastructure due to introducing, enhancing, modifying, replacing, or removing assets/services. Controlling the lifecycle of all alterations in the IT infrastructure is the responsibility of IT Change Management (ITCM). This is essential to ensure the security, availability, and reliability of the IT Infrastructure by eliminating the disruption of business and maximize IT services readiness towards customer satisfaction. This paper describes the process of storing, tracking, preventing and detecting configuration changes implemented in the IT infrastructure as part of IT change management process and in alignment with security standards and policies.

Abstract: An application is a living entity that changes frequently in a dynamic and changing IT environment. Therefore, the changing behaviour of the application leads to the application service interruption or failure, so the ability of the organization depends on how it understands and classifies their application inventory. Therefore, a proper classification of the application will make it easier for the organization to get the most out of its applications. Abstract: Enterprises are always challenged by deciding on the cost/benefit of Disaster Recovery (DR) investment. Organizations readiness to respond to threats whether it’s natural disasters, cybersecurity, or human induced is vital for its Business Continuity Program (BCP). Therefore, training/drills/exercises provide measurable assurances that critical functions/system are resilient to unplanned incidents. IT professional though have a consensus on exercising announced drills but disagree on the value of unannounced drills.  

This article is an attempt to describe and examine the value of unannounced drills by using the method of doubt approach by the 17th century philosopher named René Descartes to conclude the verdict.

Abstract: Cloud computing has been shown to be an essential enabling technology for public sector organizations (PSOs) and offers numerous potential benefits, including reduced information technology infrastructure costs, increased innovation potential, and improved resource resilience and scalability. Despite governments’ intensifying efforts to realize the benefits of this technology, cloud computing adoption and usage proves to be challenging, posing a variety of organizational and operational issues for PSOs. Abstract: Distributed systems in a grid are heterogeneous resources that can be assigned to do major computing tasks using job-scheduling algorithms. Researchers have proposed job-scheduling algorithms in order to improve grid computing from different aspects such as performance, reliability, scalability, fault-tolerance, security and others. In this project, we focus on the limitations of fuzzy-logic based self-adaptive job replication scheduling (FSARS). It is appropriate for fault-tolerant and secure grid job scheduling. Moreover, it addressed the issue of fixed-number job replication scheduling and enhanced it under dynamic security conditions. FSARS can be improved in terms of performance and grid utilization by minimizing average waiting time of jobs and their average response time. Therefore, we propose a new algorithm called load balancing with priority (LBP). This algorithm is implemented for job scheduling in secure grid environment such that it gets the optimal performance compared to FSARS. LBP algorithm has two main characteristics. First, it uses load balancing between hosts that compute jobs and satisfy security conditions. Consequently, this increases grid utilization of its resources and decreases waiting time for jobs. Second, it sorts hosts based on their processing speed and their expected time to compute jobs. As a result, jobs are assigned to hosts with minimum computation time such that host does not exceed average utilization. This algorithm is implemented using MATLAB such that experimental results show improvements in terms of computing performance for job replication scheduling in secure grid environment.

Abstract: This article offers a discussion of the overall role of problem management process among emerging technologies when companies attempt to solve problems that affect their revenue and profit streams. The findings of this study have shown that different technologies that have emerged over the past decade have helped companies solve problems that might be significantly harder to solve if the firm simply depended upon humans. Technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Predictive Analytics (PA) have been especially helpful. AI can support companies become proactive to solve problems before they have become financially or technically problematic. The employment of PA can support companies predict patterns for potential technical issues and/or even predict customers’ future performance in terms of what they will buy, based on what they have already bought. The advantage of such analytics is not just for problem-solving but also to delight customers and provide better services. For the future, companies shall improve in the competency of matching up the current problem with the technology best designed to solve such a problem.

Abstract: In this paper, we use fractional Fourier series to solve three types of fractional integrals based on Jumarie’s modified Riemann-Liouville (R-L) fractional calculus. Fractional Euler’s formula, fractional DeMoivre’s formula and a new multiplication of fractional analytic functions play important roles in this paper. In fact, our results are generalization of the traditional calculus results. On the other hand, three examples are given to illustrate our results.

Abstract: Network-based Intrusion Detection System is a threat caused by the explosion of computer networks and the myriad of recent content-based threats, which occur daily. As well as an overview of machine learning approaches for signature and anomaly detection methods, this article discusses several machine learning strategies applied to intrusion detection and preprocessing. The NIDS taxonomy and attribute classifier have created classifications and outlines. Machine learning methods are widely utilized in anomaly detection using many data sets. Additional preprocessing methods have been added, for example, sorting and discretization have been applied to the data collection of measured values. Custom methods focused on search algorithms using machine learning that uses novel search algorithms are vulnerable to being revealed. This analysis is highly relevant to the use of machine learning methods used in computer security, which furthers their cause.

Abstract: This article aims to serve as a didactic resource for future teachers in Primary Education. The topic arises from the integration of new technologies, and the different face-to-face and online modalities. Therefore, we propose a new approach to education, from the didactic proposal of Flipped Classroom, which will revolve around environmental education and social and civic technologies. "Flipped Classroom" tries to invert the role of the teacher and the students in class, so that the students study the theoretical concepts outside the classroom with the support of audiovisual resources provided by the teachers, and the teachers use the class time for their students to do homework based on what they have learned at home. With the implementation of this project, the aim is to integrate ICT in the learning process to make it active and meaningful.

Abstract: This article aims to answer several questions that seem to me of vital interest and that are closely linked to the educational world and its progress using technological support. First of all, we will discuss how and when the mobile phone appears as an educational resource, and how it influences the classroom. On the other hand, I will discuss the various positive effects of the use of smart devices in the teaching-learning process, as well as their limitations.
