Abstract: In this article, we will discuss the effect of use different optimization techniques on the ellipse microstrip antennas. With the help of optimization properties of these antennas can be enhanced and also can be made cost effective. The antenna can be a single band or multi-band, so that antenna can work for a wide range of technologies. Their efforts led to a wide range of new and innovative antenna designs which are useful for the modern wireless communication services. In this report, I provided a comprehensive overview from the beginning to the latest developments in the rapidly growing field of antenna engineering with help of optimization techniques. It will provide an idea that which optimization gives better results in comparison to the other. This paper ends with some concluding remarks about optimization. The results so far are the matter of interest but our research is in the way to explore more, to fulfill the need of the future practical applications.

Abstract: This project probes into the design of the automated irrigation system based on ARM micro controller. There are many embedded platform based irrigation control systems are available, but the major drawback of such systems are their inability to handle multiple tasks. The reliability and processing capability of the systems are greatly improved by adding the Real Time Operating System (RTOS). That provides realtime multi-tasking capabilities to the system. This paper proposes an embedded platform based on μC/OS-II RTOS and ARM microcontroller, using this system the condition of field can be sensed with help of sensors the related information is displayed on LCD and transmitted to farmer/user. The purpose of this paper to measuring the moisture of agriculture soils by real time method and to minimize this manual involvement by the farmer.

Abstract: Internet of Things is expanding the Internet to physical world around us and it forms a network by connecting everyday objects. Things will communicate with computers and with each other. The challenges in Internet of Things space include scalable architecture, performance and interoperability. The focus of our applications based on IoT platform is resource and process optimization applications. The scalable and inter operable Internet of Things platform is proposed and one case study on system of server room monitoring is described in this Paper. Apart from the server room monitoring with cold and hot aisle experiment results, the benefits of using the platform are also highlighted while describing the case study. The system allows producing alerts based on real time sensor information and performs correlation of various events along with analytics. The fine grain level of monitoring and control is possible with the Internet of Things platform that expands the horizon of existing infrastructure. Typical solutions like energy management, water management, asset monitoring etc. can be built rapidly in scalable manner using Internet of Things platform.

Abstract: Transmission line is the most vulnerable element of any electrical power system and its protection very essential because major portion of power system fault occurring in transmission side. The most common and dangerous fault in power system is the short circuit or shunt fault which causes as a result of breakdowns in the insulation of current caring phase conductor. For power system protection it is necessary to detect these faults and cleared as fast as possible. This paper represents a review on different approaches to detection of faults as Fourier Transform and Wavelet Transform.

Abstract: This study involves the design and testing of a trainer board that can enable electronic engineering students to learn the basics and applications of Operational Amplifiers as a means of supplementing their technical know-how of on how these devices are actually used in the field. The trainer board was computer-interfaced with a mobile studio--the Rensselaer- Mobile Studio and its measurement capability was tested with series of correlation and comparison test set-up with regular multimeters to prove that the Rensselaer Mobile Studio can be successfully interfaced with an Operational Amplifier Trainer Board.

Abstract: Agriculture is the main occupation in India. About 70% population of country earn their living through farming. To save the water and to increase the yield of crop proper method of irrigation must be used. The conventional drip irrigation system is fully controlled and monitored by the farmer. Hence to maintain proper irrigation soil fertility considered to be important factor which affects various parameters such as Ph, temperature, moisture and humidity. pH of the soil is impor-tant factor to be considered as it affects the nutrient availability in the soil. Temperature and humidity are also important factor in irrigation system which affects fertility of soil. Automatic Drip Irrigation is a valuable tool for accurate soil moisture control in highly specialized greenhouse vegetable production. Along with water the other important resources to the crop are the nutrients. If the nutrients are available in the right amount for the growth of crops then the yield of the crops also increases. Thus the productivity can be raised with the proper management of water resources and nutrients.

This gives more interactive way to communicate with robots and also help in teaching the robots rather than programming it in the conventional way using computers. Also in this approach we make the robot more reactive i.e., for even a small input from the accelerometer the will have some movement.

Abstract: The overall use of mobile devices has made it possible to develop mobile e voting system as a complement to the existing e voting system. However, due to limited on board resource, it is difficult to achieve both efficiency and security strength for mobile voting system. traditional solution is to use symmetric encryption algorithms or hybrid symmetric and asymmetric algorithms at the expense of weaker security strength. In our proposed mobile voting scheme, the users votes are secured by using the elliptic curve cryptography (ECC) algorithm Finally, the election server administrator will sort the final result by success in reading the received encrypted information using RSA private key. Actually, this Electric-Voting protocol is more wasting time and energy than others E-Voting protocols since the voter can vote from his/her own personal computer (PC) without any extra cost and effort. The RSA public-key encryption system ensures the security of the proposed protocol.

Abstract: Electronic voting systems have the potential to improve traditional voting procedures which provide additional advantage of having its flexibility and sophistication. Numerous electronic voting schemes have been proposed in the past, but this provide real authentication for the voters.. On the other hand, GSM (Global System for Mobile communications) is the most widely used mobile networking standard. There are more than one billion GSM users worldwide that represent a large user potential not for mobile telephony, but also for other mobile applications that exploit the mature GSM infrastructure. In this paper we are presenting electronic voting scheme by using GSM communication.. By integrating an electronic voting scheme with the GSM infrastructure, we are able to modify existing GSM authentication mechanisms and provide enhanced voter authentication and mobility in order to maintain voter privacy. The objective and verdict takes of this project is to avoid the queue in voting time. Voting machines provide easy access to cast the vote by using mobile phone.

Abstract: In present voting system there is many problem related to the voting system so it becomes highly unsecured.  In present electronic voting machine the person who came for the voting cannot be determined is it eligible voter or not. That mean the in charge officer is the main leader to handle the voting machine. Due to the vote count present in machine itself anybody can increase the vote count in present voting machine. In proposed machine that is “Global Wireless E-Voting“ machine we  can determine the eligibility of the voter by scanning the eye pattern and also the vote count is not kept into the same machine itself instead of  it is store in the remote server by converting it into radio waves. Here anybody cannot increasing the vote count of machine. Even in case of damage to voting machine there will not be any problem to continuity of the election process. The overall concept of “Global Wireless E-Voting “is explained.

Abstract: This describes the design, and development of the evaluation system of a solar-powered cell phone generating system developed at the Lyceum of the Philippines University-Cavite Campus for the purpose of reducing the campus’ electric energy consumption due to the unauthorized charging of cellphone by students from campus outlets. This study describes the components of the solar-powered charging station and explains the assembly, operation and testing of the solar charging station. IT also describes how this solar-powered charging station was evaluated using a survey questionnaire to determine the students perception of the performance and acceptability of the station.

Abstract: Driver in-alertness is an important cause for most accident related to the vehicles crashes. Driver fatigue resulting from sleep deprivation or sleep disorders is an important factor in the increasing number of the accidents on today’s roads. Drowsy driver warning system can form the basis of the system to possibly reduce the accidents related to driver’s drowsiness. The purpose of such a system is to perform detection of driver fatigue. By placing the camera inside the car, we can monitor the face of the driver and look for the eye-movements which indicate that the driver is no longer in condition to driver is no longer in condition to drive. In such a case, a warning signal should be issued. This paper describes how to find and track the eyes. We also describe a method that can determine if the eyes are open or closed. The main criterion of this system is that it must be highly non-intrusive and it should start when the ignition is turned on without having at the driver initiate the system. Nor should the driver be responsible for providing any feedback to the system. The system must also operate regardless of the texture and the color of the face. It must also be able to handle diverse condition such as changes in light, shadows, reflections etc. In given paper a drowsy driver warning system using image processing as well as accelerometer is proposed.

Abstract: Several survey reports on vehicle accidents says that, mostly accidents are happening due to Drunk and driving, Driver’s drowsiness and over speed. Unnecessary sudden parking of vehicles on highways at night time is another factor. The above mistakes are corrected accidents can be reduced to great extent. A new system has proposed to reduce accidents and in case if accident happened system will inform the owner and ambulance about this accident by using GPS and GSM services. The designed system involves in two sequences of actions 1.monitoring 2.control. In monitoring phase it sense and read all the parameter values .In controlling phase system responds automatically if any abnormalities in the above readings and controls the vehicle . System software is designed using “RTX kernel” and “MDK Keil UV5” to be worked on the target board of LPC2148. This proposed system can provide better solution to prevent accidents and makes vehicles as highly secured.

Abstract: Whether you’re using wireless internet in a coffee shop, stealing it from the guy next door, or competing for bandwidth at a conference, you have probably gotten frustrated at the slow speeds you face when more than one devices is tapped  into the network. As more and more people and their many devices access wireless internet, clogged airwaves are going to make it. One german phycist, Harald Haas has come up with a solution he calls “data through the illumination” taking the fibber out of fiber optic by sending data through an LED light bulb that varies in intensity faster than the human eye can follow. Its same idea band behind infrared remote controls but far more powerful .Haas says his invention ,which he calls D-LIGHT can produce data rates  faster than 10 megabits per second, which is speedier than your  average broadband connection. He envisions a future where data for laptops, smart phones, and tablets is transmitted through the light in a room. And security would be snap-if you can’t see the light, you can’t access the data.

Abstract: Most Road accidents are as a result of improper driving behaviors. Past studies have shown that the main cause of road accidents is dangerous overtaking. The main confusion in overtaking is the communication between the drivers. It, therefore, brings the need for an effective vehicle horn system that can help reduce the danger during overtaking. The alarm system in most vehicles uses different horn sounds. However, other studies indicate that these horn systems are ineffective while overtaking and they have a lot of drawbacks. In crowded countries like India, these horns create a lot of sound pollution and frustration among people. Therefore, in this project, it is shown that radio wave transmissions can be used to replace the horn system. The findings of this study from practical driver situations show that radio wave signals are far much better than other sound signals. This project might form the basis for consequent design of any vehicle alarm system.
