Abstract: Question answering is the most common technique to collect information from different sources. One such source which gave rise in recent internet technology is Community Question Answering (cQA). Earlier the cQA gave information only in textual format which is not very much informative for many questions posted by the user, however it is natural to extend text based question answering research to Multimedia Question Answering which gave importance for many reasons. First most video contents are indexed with metadata, second many questions are better explained with the help of non textual medium, third media contents especially videos are now used to convey many types of information. In this project a technique is proposed which enriches textual answers with appropriate media data. This technique consists of three components to enrich textual data: Answer medium selection, Query generation for multimedia search, Multimedia data selection and Presentation. The multimedia question answering complements text QA with whole QA paradigm i.e., image video along with text. This approach or technique automatically selects media information for appropriate textual answer questioned by users or community members. Here Question answering languages leverages advance media content, linguistic analysis, and domain knowledge to return precise answers to questions posted by community members.

Abstract: The multilayer advanced high-performance bus (ML-AHB) bus matrix employs slave-side arbitration. Slave-side arbitration is different from master-side arbitration in terms of request and grant signals since, in the former, the master merely starts a burst transaction and waits for the slave response to proceed to the next transfer. Therefore, in the former, the unit of arbitration can be a transaction or a transfer. However, the ML-AHB bus matrix of ARM offers only transfer-based fixed-priority and round-robin arbitration schemes.

In this paper, the design and implementation of a flexible arbiter for the ML-AHB bus matrix to support three priority policies—fixed priority, round robin, and dynamic priority—and three data multiplexing modes—transfer, transaction, and desired transfer length. In total, there are nine possible arbitration schemes. The proposed arbiter, which is self-motivated (SM), selects one of the nine possible arbitration schemes based upon the priority-level notifications and the desired transfer length from the masters so that arbitration leads to the maximum performance.

Abstract: According to national and international standard electrical equipment should be tested by a standard 1.2/50 µs impulse voltage. In the testing this standard impulse wave can be easily generated for the capacitance object. Difficulties arise in getting the standard tail time of 40 to 60 µs in case of inductive object. In case of object having high inductance does not create much problem but when the inductance is medium (4 to 15mH) or low (0.4 to 4mH) there are particular range of values of parameters for which the standard wave tail can be achieved. In this case a longer front time is obtained which cannot be control by front resistance easily. Hence an inductance is connected across the front resistance and then the various parameters of circuit are analysed by MATLAB Simulink. It was found that with the help of this inductance front controlled circuit, the front time can be obtained within the range more easily.

Abstract: This paper deals with a new method of reducing the torque ripple in a Direct Torque Control (DTC) scheme adapted to induction motor. The main aim of this paper is on the use of a new fuzzy logic (FL) control for the DTC scheme. The performance of DTC scheme with a PI controller is compared with that using Fuzzy logic control. The comparison shows that the use of DTC_FL reduced the torque and stator flux ripples. The strength of the proposed methods is confirmed by the simulative results.

Abstract: The Evening and Urgent Care of Gonzaba Medical Group which is located at Crown Meadows area were very welcoming receiving us as students from St. Mary’s University who wanted some information regarding a simulation project using Arena software. This project is about the effects of number of this clinic staff like recepients, nurses, and doctors on the waiting time and patients’ convenience. Abstract: Ever-increasing demands for accuracy and range in modern warfare have expedited the optimization of projectile design. The crux of projectile design lies in the understanding of its aerodynamic properties early in the design phase. In this research first investigated the aerodynamic properties of a standard M549, 155mm projectile. Aerodynamic data from wind tunnel and range testing was benchmarked against aerodynamic prediction and semi empirical design codes like MCDRAG, NSWCAP and Aero-Prediction. Further we deal with the prediction of drag by benchmarking the results of standard M549 projectile design and the predicting the boat tail angle effect for different drag coefficient. The detailed study is done and validated to reduce drag and see its effect on the projectile design for both transonic and supersonic speeds.

Abstract: The present study deals with the awareness and perceptions of farmers about the Sustainable Agriculture and Food Security. For this purpose a survey type research is carried out by the researcher. The sample was 100 Farmers, collected by the situational sampling technique form the different villages of Habra Block – 1 area. The tool used is an interview schedule, prepared by the researcher to collected the data the findings indicate that majority of the farmers are not aware about the sustainable agriculture and Food Security. The findings also indicate that most of the farmers have not completed their elementary education. Though they have some practical knowledge, they lack theoretical knowledge about sustainable farming. Most of them have no clear idea about the adverse effects of pesticides, soil erosion, chemical fertilizers etc.

Abstract: Experiments on filled and empty circular thin walled Aluminium AA6063 tubes with varying L/D ratios have been performed to study load compression and energy absorbed for quasi static axial and oblique loading. Dependence of deformation characteristics and energy absorption responses have been studied. Energy absorption was measured from load-displacement graph obtained from UTM using MATLAB. Tubes were clamped at the lower end and axial and oblique loads were applied by applying a force at upper end with different angles to the centreline of column. Peak loads and absorbed energies have been compared for filled and empty tubes for same L/D ratio. Experimental results are used to determine energy absorption capacity due to plastic deformation of thin walled tube. The goal of the research was to study the interaction between the forming and crash response of Al AA6063 in order to evaluate its potential for use in vehicle design for crashworthiness.

Abstract: The use of noble metal nano particles as drugs nano carriers presents principal advantages, firstly they are able to transport several therapeutic molecules adsorbed on their surface. Penicillium chrysogenum previously known as Penicillium notatum is widely distributed in nature and is well known for it’s β-lactam antibiotics and secondary metabolites, most significantly penicillin. The current research activities synthesized the silver bio-nanoparticles from Penicillium chrysogenum by intracellular method. Nanotechnology is an emerging field, with enabling technology, the creation and application of materials, devices, and systems at atomic and molecular levels and the exploitation of novel properties that emerge at the nanometer scale. The morphological studies of the biosynthesized nano particles are done using UV-vis, SEM, & FTIR techniques. The O.D.value and spectrum was measured through UV-visible spectrophotometer. After confirmation of the formation of silver bio-nanoparticles (Ag-NPs) they were treated against different pathogenic organisms like Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Bacillus cereus, E. coli, and Staphylococcus aureus. The highest sensitive antimicrobial activities were observed in Staphylococcus aureus followed by E. coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Bacillus cereus.  These data constitute a preliminary study about the knowledge of the physical-chemistry properties of the drugs adsorbed on noble metal nanoparticles surface that will allow us to deep in the design of new drug delivery systems with potential to improve the clinical efficacy of the therapeutic effect.

Abstract: this paper presents the comparison of existing low voltage distribution system with proposed high voltage distribution system in terms of losses. The study is based on a real low voltage agricultural feeder in Madhya Pradesh state. The investigation  is carried out to determine the losses in the existing  low voltage (LT) distribution  system  and then converting  this low voltage distribution  system  to proposed  high voltage distribution  system  (HVDS)  by replacing the one  large  transformer  of 100  KVA with  various  transformers  of small  rating  and then determining the reduction in losses in terms of units and annual savings in terms of rupees due to proposed method. To check the feasibility of the proposed work, the annual saving and payback period of the proposed method is also determined.
