Abstract: Allergic rhinitis (AR) is an atopic disease characterized by symptoms such as sneezing, nasal congestion, clear rhinorrhea, and nasal pruritus. This study investigates the efficacy of a combination therapy using Fexofenadine Hydrochloride 120 mg and Montelukast Sodium 10 mg in managing AR. Leveraging an omnichannel marketing campaign on the Hidoc Dr platform, the study targeted healthcare professionals through digital channels like mobile apps, websites, emails, SMS, and tele-calling services. The campaign aimed to establish this combination therapy as a preferred choice among physicians. The results revealed significant engagement, with 166,606 healthcare professionals reached, 2,884,308 impressions, and 462,546 clicks. The campaign demonstrated a 16% click-through rate and generated 105 high-quality leads, confirming the increased preference and usage of the combination therapy for AR treatment.

Abstract: Lactose intolerance is a prevalent condition characterized by the inability to digest lactose, a sugar in milk and dairy products, due to a deficiency in the lactase enzyme. This condition is influenced by genetic variations near the lactase gene (LCT), particularly single-nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) such as -13910 C>T and -22018 G>A, which are associated with lactase persistence. These genetic variants have undergone positive selection in populations with a history of dairy farming, such as Northern Europeans, some African, and Middle Eastern groups, allowing them to digest lactose into adulthood. The prevalence of lactose intolerance varies significantly across populations, with higher rates in groups without a history of dairy farming, such as Native Americans and East Asians. Symptoms include gastrointestinal complaints like bloating, gas, diarrhea, and abdominal pain following lactose consumption. The regulation of the LCT gene involves complex interactions with enhancer sequences and regulators like peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor gamma (PPARγ). Future treatments may include gene editing technologies and modulation of the gut microbiome. Understanding genetic and environmental factors can inform personalized nutrition recommendations and public health strategies, highlighting the dynamic interplay between genes and environment in lactose intolerance

Abstract: Mercury is one of the widespread toxic metal detrimental effects on human health. Humans can be exposed to mercury in the workplace, consume large amounts of aquatic product, products containing mercury such as traditional remedies, cosmetics, including skin lightening creams. The aim of this review is to explore the natures and type of mercury, routes of exposure and sources of mercury, toxicity mechanisms of mercury exposure, and the clinical signs of acute and chronic exposure of mercury. The writing methodology used is a literature review. The literature source consists of relevant journals and books from the search engines PubMed and Google Scholar. The major sources of mercury in the environment are divided into two types; natural and anthropogenic sources. Mercury typically exists in in three forms, including elemental mercury, inorganic mercury and organic mercury. Toxic effect of the mercury was documented in several historical accidents that revealed by neurological symptoms, the cardio metabolic syndrome, liver and renal diseases via the oxidative stress mechanisms, due to the strong ability of the mercuric compounds to bind to the sulfhydryl terminal of vital proteins and enzymes.

Abstract: The prevalence of chronic kidney disease (CKD) is increasingly high among older adults. This study explores the intricate associations between CKD, aging and cardiovascular disease (CVD). The decline in renal function is due to several age-related changes such as the loss of muscle mass, stiffening blood vessels and impaired immune activity. For elderly individuals, genetic, lifestyle and age-related factors all play a part in having CKD. High blood pressure, diabetes, obesity and smoking are key causes of heart diseases and vascular damage that accelerate kidney injury. This review shows the relationship between CVD and CKD with focus on vascular aging as its main link. This vicious cycle worsens both diseases. It also highlights challenges in diagnosing and managing CKD among older persons which will require more research for improved prevention measures and management strategies. To improve the health outcomes of patients suffering from this disease, especially for old, aged people requires deep understanding of these aspects and eventually their quality of life should be enhanced.

Abstract: Cardiac arrest occurs when the heart ceases to produce an effective pulse and circulate blood. Resuscitation measures can be lifesaving for children who experience respiratory failure.

Objectives of the Study: A comparative study to evaluate the effectiveness of structure teaching programme and video assisted teaching programme on knowledge regarding paediatric cardiopulmonary resuscitation among 3rd year B.sc nursing students in selected nursing colleges, Bengaluru.

Methodology: It is a four step model of program evaluation developed for obtaining useful information for taking decisions. It involves four types of decisions, namely planning decisions, Structuring decisions, implementing decisions and recycling decisions. The sample comprised a total of 100 students from 3rd year BSc nursing (50 samples in STP group and 50 samples in VAT group). A Non probability purposive sampling technique was adopted. The tool used for data collection was structured knowledge Questionnaire.

Result: The computed independent ‘t’ value for pre-test knowledge scores of two interventional groups is 0.43 which is not found significant at 0.05 levels. This indicated that there is no difference between the mean pre-test knowledge scores among two interventional groups.

Abstract: Over the last two decades, there has been a significant surge in interest in traditional systems of medicine, particularly herbal remedies, in both developed and developing countries. The global and national markets for therapeutic plants are quickly expanding, resulting in huge economic gains. Despite their widespread use, various reports reveal that the quality of herbal products on the market is inconsistent. The fact that herbal remedies are complex to produce accounts for the variance in quality. Good agriculture and collection/harvesting methods have recently been acknowledged as a key instrument for maintaining the safety and quality of a number of medicinal plants and their products in recent years. This article examines the issues, developments, and future prospects for systems for collecting and post-harvest processing medicinal plant resources in order to produce high-quality herbal medications on a long-term basis. To produce a high-quality, effective herbal drug, the appropriate part of the medicinal plant must be harvested at the optimum stage of development, dried and stored at temperatures and conditions that do not degrade the active ingredients, and processed using a method that maximizes phytochemical recovery. Only by following all of these procedures can a high-quality product with batch-to-batch consistency be produced .In this way, the safety, efficacy, and quality of herbal products can be maintained, and billions of dollars can be invested in the country's burgeoning herbal markets.

Abstract: This paper explores the medical implications of aerosols, defined as suspensions of particles or droplets in the air. Aerosols, which include airborne dust, mists, fumes, and smoke, play a crucial role in medical science, particularly in the delivery of drugs to the airways and systemic circulation. Aerosol therapy is a non-invasive method beneficial for patients with conditions like asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), offering rapid action and reduced side effects due to lower medication doses. The paper discusses the expanding therapeutic applications of aerosols, including gene therapy, vaccination, and treatment of both respiratory and non-respiratory diseases. Additionally, aerosols present health and safety hazards in various occupational settings, with the potential for inhalation, skin absorption, or ingestion of harmful particles. Advances in aerosol devices and technologies, such as nebulizers, metered dose inhalers (pMDIs), and dry powder inhalers (DPIs), have enhanced the efficiency and effectiveness of aerosol therapy. Abstract: Health problem are common with pregnancy but differs by trimester in order to address some of this pregnancy the study was conducted to determine the common pregnancy related health problems among pregnant women in Awka South L.G.A. Anambra State. The research design was a cross sectional research design. The population of the study was 1022 pregnant women, the sample of the study was 105 pregnant women, and accidental sampling technique was used to determine the respondents. The instrument for data collection was a questionnaire titled common pregnancy related health problems of pregnant women questionnaire validation was done by three experts the reliability of the instrument was determined using kuder-richardson (KR-20). Data was analyzed using frequency and percentage scores. The result of the study showed differ common pregnancy related health problems for different trimesters in pregnancy. Based on the findings, recommendation was made; since various health problems most occur during pregnancy there is need for continuous health education during antenatal to help the women cope with various health challenges during pregnancy and also help them overcome it.

Abstract: CTEV is one of the most common congenital disabilities of the musculoskeletal system. It has been demonstrated that the Ponseti method is the gold standard for treating clubfoot. Although relapses do occur, this represents a significantly smaller proportion. A 3-year-old boy came with relapsed crooked right foot after 2 years of Achilles tenotomy. The patient previously had a serial plaster cast using the Ponseti method for 6 times, then it was decided to do an Achilles tenotomy surgery with an above knee cast immobilization. However, after followed by the use of a removable orthotic for up to 6 months, the parents did not comply with the foot abduction brace protocol. The Pirani pre-operatively was 3.5. We performed an Achilles tendon lengthening surgery with triple Achilles tendon hemisection, with anterior tibial tendon transfer and posteromedial capsule release. The foot was immobilized for three weeks in a above knee cast. After the surgery, the Pirani score was reduced to 0.5. The Ponseti approach, which is an efficient and secure therapy for clubfoot, has been shown to be the gold standard. After Ponseti method, the corrected foot can relapse for several reasons. Noncompliance with the foot abduction brace was associated with an increased risk of relapse and worsening of the deformity. This emphasizes the importance of parent education, support, and close frequent monitoring of patients in order to identify any compliance issues early on and modify the brace accordingly.

Abstract: Over the past decade, there has been an increase in interest & participation in sports like cricket. Throwing plays an important role in cricket. Numerous accurate powerful throws are made during the course of the match. To be a successful cricket player it is necessary for the athlete to be capable of throwing ball with power & accuracy from one point to the next point of play. The Objective of the study to find out the Sports Physiotherapeutic Warm-up Benefits Of Plyometric versus Swiss Ball Push-Up Amateur Cricket Bowlers the results In group A for throwing distance the calculated paired ‘t’ value is 14.52   and ‘t’ table value is 2.861 at 0.005 level. Since the calculated ‘t’ value is more than ‘t’ table value above study shows that there is significant difference in throwing distance following plyometric pushup among Amateur Cricket fast Bowlers. The calculated paired ‘t’ value is 1.98 and the paired table ‘t’ value is 2.861 at 0.05evel of significance. Hence, the calculated ‘t’ value is less than the table ‘t’ value there is no significant difference in accuracy following swiss ball push-up in Amateur Cricket fast Bowlers. The results from the present study are very encouraging and demonstrate the benefits of plyometric push-ups in improving throwing distance as compared ball push-ups. Thus, plyometric push-ups can be incorporated into training programs of fast bowlers in cricket for enhancing their performance levels.

Abstract: Novice Badminton is a sport that requires a lot of overhead motion, with shoulder in abduction / external rotation. Analyzing the badminton smash shot biomechanically has revealed that during this phase there is a powerful inward rotation of the arm, followed by inward rotation of forearm and lastly a flexion of the hand. The impact with the shuttle occurs high and slightly in front of the body.

Objectives: To find out the effectiveness of thrower’s ten exercise program in throwing distance among badminton players , to find out the effectiveness of thrower’s ten exercise program in throwing accuracy among novice badminton players.

Background: Badminton is a sport that requires a lot of overhead motion with shoulder in abduction/external rotation. Analyzing the badminton smash shot biomechanically has revealed that during this phase there is a powerful inward rotation of the arm, followed by inward rotation of forearm and lastly a flexion of the hand.

Method: Thrower’s ten program incorporates throwing motion specific exercises and movement patterns performed in a discrete series by using variables of Throwing distance & Throwing accuracy and administered by functional throwing performance index , medicine ball throw test & Thrower’s ten exercise program.

Results: Analysis of dependent variable throwing accuracy, the calculated paired ‘t’ value is 12.10 and the ‘t’ table value is 3.250. Since the calculated ‘t’ value is more than ‘t’ table value, there is significant difference in throwing accuracy following thrower’s ten exercise program among badminton players.

Analysis of dependent variable throwing distance, the calculated paired ‘t’ value is 12.45 and the paired ‘t’ table value is 3.250. Hence the calculated ‘t’ value is greater than ‘t’ table value. There is significant difference in throwing distance following thrower’s ten exercise program among badminton players.

Conclusion: The author concluded that there is significant difference in throwing accuracy and throwing distance among 10 badminton players.

Abstract: The movement of the human body is caused by the muscular system. There are about 700 muscles attached to the bones of the skeletal system that help to make up half of the person’s body weight roughly. Skeletal muscles are made up of contractile and non-contractile connective tissues. The characteristics of contractility and irritability are given by the contractile elements of the muscle.

Aim: The Aim of this study is to compare “effect of bowen technique versus muscle energy technique on asymptomatic subjects with hamstring tightness” Materials and Methods: A Quasi Experimental study design consisting of reviews of charts of hamstring tightness patients. Thirty patients were included, (50%) were males, (50%) were males ; the average age was 18-24 years. All the patients are presented with hamstring tightness underwent goiniometer and sit and reach test. Pre- and post-Treatment of Group A patients received (Bowen technique) and Group B patients received (Muscle energy technique) scores on the improve range of motion strength of muscle and physical functional of the goniometer and sit and reach test were analyzed.

Results: The pre and post test values were assessed by Bowen Technique and Muscle Energy Technique in Group A and Group B. The calculated ҅ t ҅ values by unpaired҅ t ҅test were in group A is 5.72 and Group B is3.52.Thecalculated ҅t҅ values were more than the table value 2.05 for 5% level of significance at 28 degrees of freedom.

Conclusion: In the present sample, Bowen technique had a positive and significant effect on the improve range of motion strength of muscle and physical functional of the goniometer and sit and reach test before and after therapy.

Abstract: Mother-to-child transmission of HIV significantly contributes to new infections globally. Universal access to comprehensive services for the prevention of mother-to-child transmission (PMTCT) of HIV is vital to curbing this trend. This study assessed the availability and utilization of PMTCT services in Primary Health Care centres of Jos South local government area, Plateau State, North-Central Nigeria. A desk review of facility records was conducted in 2020. Data was collected on PMTCT services availability and utilization using observational and review of records checklist adapted from the World Health Organization’s PMTCT services checklist instrument. Data was analyzed using IBM-SPSS version 23 software. Thirty-six Primary Health Care centres in Jos South were surveyed, of which only 14 (38.9%) offered PMTCT services. Four thousand six hundred and sixty-one (85%) women accessing antenatal care in the 14 facilities offering PMTCT services underwent HIV testing and 45 (0.8%) tested positive. Twenty-seven (60%) of those who tested positive had optimal utilization of PMTCT services as they received all the basic components of the services. The availability of PMTCT services was low while the utilization among those reached was suboptimal. There is a need to scale up PMTCT services and make available a comprehensive package in all health facilities.

Abstract: Currently, the world is facing increasingly frequent changes in climate, which not only involve rising temperatures but also extreme weather events, population shifts in ecosystems and migration, rising sea levels, and other environmental impacts. These changes in climate also affect the human nervous system and brain, leading to a higher incidence of “mental health problems.” However, this issue is often overlooked and not extensively addressed by researchers. The objective of this survey-based research is to study the knowledge and attitudes regarding climate change’s impact on mental health in Thailand. The sample group consists of 60 participants, and data is collected using questionnaires about their knowledge and attitudes regarding how climate change affects mental health in Thailand. The research findings indicate that knowledge and attitudes regarding climate change’s impact on mental health are generally consistent. This could be due to the high percentage (91.7%) of information received through the internet/social media. However, there are still some respondents who selected “disagree” or “unsure.” These findings highlight the necessity of continuously promoting knowledge about climate change’s impact on mental health to enhance prevention and intervention strategies for mental health issues among Thai people.

Abstract: Today, people often face disappointment, sadness and sorrow that arise from many situations encountered in their daily lives. As these situations are unpredictable, it is important for everyone to prepare to handle the situations. The disappointment, sadness and sorrow could lead to stress, which can occur to anyone at any age. The accumulated stress could lead to depression if there is no stress management being taken. Nowadays, psychological knowledge being used in the arts as a tool to explore the flaws and abnormalities of mental states is used as a part of the treatment process for people with behavioral and mental disorders. The principle of art therapy is a science of knowing the human mind by using artistic activities to search for hidden emotions and thoughts.
