Abstract: Acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) which also used to be called Acute Lung Injury (ALI) is a life threatening respiratory problem identified by hypoxemia, as well as rigid lungs; without mechanical air flow most patients would die. The primary purpose of this review is to briefly discuss the diagnostic and treatment options for Acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) in Family practice, the second objective Intended to discuss the pathogenesis and impact of this disease on lung parenchyma, which may give us clear approach to suitable accurate treatment for ARDS. Comprehensive searching strategy through Well-known medical databases (MIDLINE/ PubMed, and Embase) searching articles that published in English language up to December 2016, and discussing the Acute respiratory distress syndrome, especially management and diagnosis of ARDS in Family practice. Furthermore, references list of each article were searched for more eligible papers for present review. It is important to improve diagnostic standards for a specific definition of ARDS and also move it in practice of family medicine. The acute respiratory system distress syndrome (ARDS) is a major cause of acute breathing failure. Its development causes high prices of death, in addition to brief- and also lasting problems, such as cognitive and physical problems. As a result, very early acknowledgment of this syndrome and application of demonstrated restorative interventions are vital to alter the natural course of this devastating entity. In this review article, we define updated ideas in ARDS.

Abstract: The main objective of this review was to evaluate several potential GDM predictors with consideration to measures and to determine the extent to which GDM can be predicted in the first trimester in low risk pregnancy. Electronic detailed Search was conducted through following databases; PubMed, Embase, Science direct, searching relevant articles which were concerned with Gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM), we restricted our search to only English published articles up to January 2017, with human subject’s involvement only. furthermore, we search references lists of selected studies for more useful eligible articles to our objective in this review. Glycosylated hemoglobin A1c (A1C) has many benefits over conventional oral glucose tolerance tests (OGTTs) in pregnancy. Ladies with prediabetes by first trimester A1C are considerably more most likely to have GDM, the low sensitivity of an A1C in this variety renders it a poor test to identify females who will develop GDM. Multimarker models combining protein markers and clinical information have the potential to forecast ladies at a high risk of developing GDM.

Abstract: Imaging plays a crucial function in the management of patients with brain tumors. The technical improvement of computed tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance (MRI) with the advancement of, brand-new imaging techniques highly enhanced the detection and characterization of brain tumors. This comprehensive review of literature is aimed to discuss the roles of MRI & CT in the diagnosis and evaluation of primary brain tumors, we attempted to discuss the advantage and disadvantage of each modality and which is more effective in this matter. We performed a comprehensive search of literatures among main medical databases; PubMed(MIDLINE), Embase, and science Direct, up to November 2016, to find a relevant article to our study which is discussing the roles of MRI and CT in evaluation of Primary brain tumors. several terms were used in the search through the databases; (MRI, CT, and Imaging), combined with (Brain cancer, primary brain tumors, glioblastomas). We limited our search to English language studies, and only to Human trails. Computed tomography (CT) might be the very first modality employed in a patient presenting with a brain tumor but for one of the most part MRI is the primary imaging modality in brain tumor patients. The function of CT is mostly relegated to emerging imaging in the detection of hemorrhage, herniation, and hydrocephalus but mass effect from brain tumors and calcification within brain tumors such as oligodendrogliomas or menigiomas can potentially be discovered. The main use of MRI-based medical image analysis for brain tumor studies remains in medical diagnosis, patient tracking and treatment preparation, however it could also be useful in clinical trials.

Abstract: Coarctation of the aorta represent 5% -7% of all congenital heart disease (4), with an incidence of roughly 3 cases per 10000 birth. Coarctation may be seen in isolation or with additional heart lesions, such as bicuspid aortic valve, ventricular septal flaw, patent ductus arteriosus, transposition of the fantastic arteries, atrioventricular canal defects, or left-sided obstructive heart problems, consisting of hypoplastic left heart syndrome.
Objectives: This review article was aimed to focus in discussing the roles of MRI and Doppler echocardiographic in evaluation and assessment of aortic coarctation.
Methods: We conducted a comprehensive computerized search of literature published in English language, up to December,2016. Involving human subjects only, the search was perfumed through the well-known medical databases; Medline/PubMed, and Emabse, searching studies that discussing the roles of MRI and Doppler echocardiographic in evaluation and assessment of aortic coarctation.
Results: Doppler echocardiography (DE) is presently the very first imaging modality utilized, demonstrating the location and the intensity of the constriction and has the advantage of estimating noninvasively the pressure gradient throughout the narrowing. Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) has been acknowledged as the noninvasive imaging method of option for the examination of aortic coarctation before repair surgery.
Conclusion: MRI also appears to be the most efficient technique to follow-up patients after coarctation repair work and identify postoperative complications. Echocardiography is the primary imaging modality for evaluation of the heart. Among the major benefits of DE is the ability to measure the gradient throughout the coarctation sector. In addition, the existence of associated hereditary heart and valve abnormalities and heart function can also be examined effectively in a noninvasive way.

Abstract: Current study was aimed to discuss and overview the diagnosis and treatment approaches of cystic fibrosis disease (CF), and intended also do highlight the etiology of this disease especially the role of genetics in CF. New treatments are being developed that have the possible to treat the causes, rather than just the symptoms, of CF lung disease. Detailed Search was conducted through Medical Databases; PubMed/ Medline, and Emabse, searching relevant articles discussing the diagnostic approaches as well as treatment of cystic fibrosis, published in English language (as it was restricted applied) up to January, 2017. Moreover, we searched references lists of selected articles for more relevant studies that could been useful in this matter, and we restricted all search studies to human subject only. There is continuing development on treating the downstream elements of CF, such as sputum retention, airway infection, and inflammation, however our improving understanding of the underlying pathophysiology will help us target the early problems in CF, and early arise from studies of a number of substances look appealing. Dealing with the early and root causes of CF will improve results and hopefully also reduce the considerable burdens of treatment. It would be perfect to develop a "single hit" treatment and hence anticipate other treatments, however till that treatment is found, we continue to look for ways to reduce the development of the disease process.

Abstract: H. pylori infection installs a chronic inflammatory action resulting in an increased cell turnover that, over several years, might lead to an accumulation of mitotic errors, which may lead to gastric cancer by direct or indirect effect. This review aimed to discuss the role of H. pylori in the pathogenesis of gastric carcinoma, and how its most common risk factor on the risk of subsequent neoplastic transformation will also be discussed. We have conducted this review through searching the eligible articles in several databases; PubMed, and Embase, to have more evidence in the association of association between H. pylori and gastric cancer, our search was up to December 2016. And we included every study which discussed the relevant topic that our study aimed to overview. Then we limited our search to English language and only to human trails. Evidence showed a significant association between infection with H. pylori and gastric cancer, as determined by the presence of raised concentrations of IgG antibodies to the organism, and the risk of gastric cancer. The small number of cases, nevertheless, indicates that the magnitude of the odds ratio doubts. However, the association we observed is not likely to be due to opportunity and supports other evidence suggesting a causal association based upon environmental research studies,' medical observations, and what is known about the function of H. Pylori in triggering chronic gastritis.
