Abstract: Using technology within our classrooms to promote 21^st century learning has been an expectation for most teachers. For those originally from South Africa are now teaching abroad it is expected that every individual should be familiar with the International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Programme (PYP), that is the norm. Focusing on the Music curriculum it is important to understand the PYP programme and how to make provisions for those using technology to enhance their compositional skills as part of the responding module of PYP. The following research paper discusses the PYP programme focusing on the Arts and how to implement Garage Band into your music curriculum creating opportunities for students to engage, share, be creative and compose music, which is the emphasis of the IB curriculum. Students have to become natural inquirers and through guiding them to complete research, which demonstrates their understanding of the music concept being taught. The following research is completed to enlighten music teachers of how to integrate technology within their music programme for PYP.

Abstract: Having the ability to write and speak well puts an individual at an advantage— may it be in the academe, workplace, or even in the contexts of day-to-day communication. However, developing the writing and speaking skills are also the two macro-skills that the students are often having difficulties with. This study aimed to assess the level of proficiency in Oral Communication particularly speech delivery of Grade-11 students in the far-flung schools of San Marcelino, Zambales, Philippines for the First Semester of School Year 2020-2021. This study also evaluated the usefulness of a crafted Online-Modular Instructional Material in Oral Communication, titled "TICTalk" on the topics of Principles of Effective Speech Writing and Speech Delivery, with Oral Communication teachers as respondent- evaluators.

The researchers used a descriptive-evaluation design with the two sets of questionnaires as the main instrument. The responses were coded and analyzed using descriptive statistics—frequency counts, weighted mean, percentage, and descriptive interpretation. The key findings revealed that the student-respondents are not proficient in Oral Communication and they encountered challenges particularly in Word Choice, Syntax, Logical Organization, and Articulation. In addition, the innovated Online-Modular Instructional Material with the title Trends in Communication Talk (TIC-Talk) was considered "Very Useful" by the teacher-respondent evaluators. The Online- Modular Instructional Material may be used as a learning resource material, for it was rated as Very Useful. Nevertheless, further validation of the material and several consultations must be done by the researcher before the actual wide-range consumption of other educators.

Abstract: In this paper, we study the fractional line integral based on Jumarie type of Riemann-Liouville (R-L) fractional calculus. The major method we used is a new multiplication of fractional analytic functions. On the other hand, two examples are provided to illustrate the fractional line integral. In fact, the fractional line integral is the generalization of line integral in classical calculus.

Abstract: This study analysed the expenditure on food consumption by students of Ramat Polytechnic Maiduguri. The data for the study were obtained through the use of structured questionnaires administrated on 80 respondents. The respondents were selected through stratified random sampling procedure. Data collected were analysed using percentages and regression estimates of ordinary least square. The findings of this study revealed that there is a positive relationship between socio-economic characteristics of students and their expenditure. It was observed that majority (33.75%) of the respondents fall within the age range of 21 – 25 years, 80% were singles and mostly (62.50%) males. Majority (42.50%) fall within the allowance range of N2, 501 – N4, 500 per month and had their source of income mainly from parents/ guardians. In the same vein, the linear regression estimate showed that income (X₂) was the major variable that influenced food consumption tested at a significant level of 1%. Similarly, majority (83.75%) of the respondents were discovered to spend higher proportion of their income on food consumption hence proportion of income consumed in the study area was high suggesting that most of the respondents were from a poor background. Based on the findings of the study, it was recommended that there is the need for the upward review of students’ income by both the parents and government so as to enable them have the best of education thereby enhancing their worth.

Abstract: This paper suggests how action research courses in university settings may be harnessed to teach social entrepreneurship and build new, small, innovative Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) to mobilize students and other people in combatting human suffering. In contrast to huge, complex programs to carry out international development efforts, the focus here is on methods to 1) First, to dig into the literature about social change in college courses; 2) Second, to then design new strategies in which students learn ways of implementing their projects; and 3) Third, to eventually turn them into ongoing, programs, that is, practical partnerships as NGOs in impoverished regions where developing nations struggle. Ten cases are described and analyzed. Types of students are summarized. In one’s courses, after the theoretical literature is highlighted, strategies for implementation are designed by university teams in the author’s classes, and then comes implementation and evaluation.

Abstract: In August 2005, Israel’s disengagement from Gaza Strip took place, Hamas credited itself that due to its policies and actions Israel was forced to leave Gaza Strip. Hamas’ overwhelming electoral victory in the January 2006 elections shocked the entire world. Hamas won 74 seats out of 132. After a long negotiation, a National Unity Government was formed on 17^th March 2007 headed by Ismail Haniyeh as Prime Minister accompanied by a Fatah Vice-Prime Minister. The National Unity Government could not last long. Power -sharing proved to be more difficult than anticipated, exclusively within the field of security. In June 2007, the factional conflict between Hamas and Fatah culminated with scenes in Gaza resembling a civil war. The Palestinian civil strife in Gaza led to a political division of the Palestinian territories divided in the West Bank controlled by Mahmud Abbas and the Gaza Strip controlled by the democratically elected Hamas government. This resulted in a subsequent breakdown in the National Unity Government. Aftermath of Hamas’ takeover of Gaza, major international players and Israel strengthened their plan of siege, isolating Hamas even more and penalizing the whole of Gaza in the deceptive belief that by undermining Hamas and its capability to deliver they would compel Gazans to overthrow it. This paper is an attempt to examine the challenges faced by Hamas in power.

Abstract: This paper seeks explore the various coping strategies employed by the coastal dwellers in Ada-Foah area in the Greater Accra Region of Ghana to survive the effect of coastal erosion in their communities. The paper employed qualitative case study approach. The paper mainly relied on semi-structured interview picture taking and observation as the main method of data collection. In all 30 participants were purposively sample based on their ability to respond to the interview and pictures of scenes of coping strategies adopted by the coastal dwellers were captured. The data collected was read severally for trends and categories to emerge. The result of this study has shown that the coaster dwellers in Ada-Foah area do everything within their powers, legal or illegal, to cope with the phenomenon of coastal erosion for survival.
