Abstract: Short-term dietary adjustments used as a detox health tonics in this study with which helps to eliminate excess toxins from the body while simultaneously increasing vitamin and mineral absorption through the consumption of natural juices, fruits, and vegetables. The aimed of the study was to formulate a detox health tonic diets for toxin elimination and observe its efficacy on health and nutrition. A total 45 people were recruited for this preliminary study and randomly divided into two groups in a randomized, single-blind, placebo-controlled trial (30 individual included in case group and 15 individuals were in control group). All of the subjects in the case group consumed a curcumin-based diet for 12 weeks, while none of the subjects in the control group consumed any curcumin-based food mixes. It was clear that 100% opined that good taste and 93.3% of the subjects reported that it increased their appetite and interested to intake again. Following intervention, no patients in the case group were determined to be in severe pain, and nearly 93% reported either no discomfort or mild pain. After a three-month control trial, however, there was no discernible reduction in pain in the control group. The intervention group showed substantial declines in weight (p=0.013), body mass index (p=0.011) compared to baseline after consuming the detox diet for three months.

Abstract: The COVID-19 epidemic has so far had a serious impact on all areas of social life. On the basis of analyzing the Vietnamese labor market under the impact of the COVID-19 epidemic, the article points out the changes in the Vietnamese labor market in the post -COVID - 19 period, thereby making some recommendations to limit the impacts of the pandemic and restore Vietnam's economy in the coming time.

Abstract: The studies selected were HTAs, systematic reviews, meta- analyses, randomized controlled trials, and non- randomized controlled trials that evaluated the risk of disease transmission to health care workers exposed to aerosol-generating procedures. Procedures that showed a statistically significant increased risk of SARS transmission to health care workers, or were a statistically significant risk factor for SARS infection in health care workers, included tracheal intubation, non-invasive tracheotomy, and manual ventilation before intubation. As noted in the results, for a number of potentially aerosol-generating procedures (bronchoscopy,2 non-invasive positive pressure ventilation,3 manipulation of BiPAP mask,2 and insertion of nasogastric tube2), point estimates suggested an increased risk, but confidence intervals were wide and were not statistically significant. The estimated risk of transmission of infection through aerosol-generating procedures or of a certain procedure being a risk factor for infection transmission in the included studies could have been confounded by the medical characteristics of the patients, the level of infection control training, and compliance with the use of effective personal protection methods among health care workers. Our findings suggest that some procedures potentially capable of generating aerosols have been associated with increased risk of SARS transmission to health care workers or were a risk factor for transmission, with the most consistent association across multiple studies identified with tracheal intubation.

Abstract: Purpose: Suicide behavior is one of the major public health concerns and one of the leading causes of death globally. ¹ However, data shows that 75% of suicide deaths worldwide emanated from low-and middle-income countries. ² The alarming upsurge in suicide rate among adolescents in Nigeria calls for clinical effective treatment options for at-risk adolescents. This present study therefore sought to assess efficacy of pharmacotherapy and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) in suicide behavior among inpatient and outpatient adolescents with mood disorders.

Methods: The researchers assigned the recruited 81 patients (N = 43 outpatients for DBT) and (N= 38 inpatients for Pharmacotherapy) to participate in a quasi-experimental research design to evaluate differential effects of pharmacotherapy and DBT treatment options. The Suicide Behavior Questionnaire-revised version was used to collect data from the patients who participated in the study.

Results: The mean estimate of the two therapeutic approaches showed that the approaches were statistically efficacious to reduce suicidal behavior (Ps < 0.0001). The DiD estimator using Ordinary Least Squares (OLS) showed a declining trend over the pre-test and post-test period of assessment, depicting reduction in the suicidal scores, however, these reductions were insignificant (p=0.523). This means, the two approaches are equally effective in suicide reduction. However, Cohen d effect size for Pharmacotherapy (d= 2.245; 95% CI: 1.460 – 3.031) and effect size for DBT was (d=2.586; 95% CI: 1.884 – 3.241) over assessment periods indicated that pharmacotherapy intervention was able to reduce mean suicide behaviors lower (2.245) than DBT (2.586).

Conclusion: Result from this quasi-experimental study implied that treatment of suicidal behaviors among participants was slightly more effective using pharmacotherapy compared to DBT but statistically insignificant. Further study on combination of Pharmacotherapy and DBT for effective prognosis.

Abstract: Background: Blood safety is an essential part of improving healthcare worldwide, and millions of lives are saved each year by donating blood. But most hospitals in the developing world face the problem of a lack of a constant blood supply to perform various life-saving procedures that require blood, due to a shortage of blood donors. There have been many studies on blood donation awareness, but only a few have focused on medical students. Objective: To determine the awareness of blood donations among medical and pharmacy students at Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Nnewi campus and Agulu respectively. Materials and Methods: Stratified sampling technique was used to divide students into strata (200, 300, 400, 500 and 600), and then simple random sampling to select different respondents from each class and self-administered questionnaires were administered. given to students. respondent.

Data is collected and results analyzed. Results: 294 respondents, 147 medical students and 147 pharmacy students participated in the study 141 (95.9%)  medical students and 137 (93.2%) pharmacy students had heard of blood donation. . 139 (94.6%) medical students and 140 (95.2%) pharmacy students know their blood type. 59.5% of respondents have ever donated blood. The most common motivation to donate blood  is "to save a friend or family member".

Conclusion: Students' knowledge about blood donation is high, but  blood donation practice is still low.

Abstract: The use of information and communication technology in health and health care can improve the quality of care in many ways. The current evidence base demonstrates the (cost) effectiveness of online education, self-management support, and remote monitoring in several areas of healthcare. As new findings gradually provide more evidence of eHealth's impact on quality issues, now is the time to address implementation issues. Documented downsides such as low acceptance, low absorption of or low absorption demand our attention today to take full advantage of eHealth's potential. Innovative science is beginning to provide the tools to address these persistent cultural and behavioral problems. For example, the ceHRes roadmap is a diverse and pragmatic approach that covers user needs. It is now imperative to improve our deployment strategies to advance e-health technologies. Abstract: Background: The increasing necessity for all season food availability as well the importance of nutritional value being preserved properly have resulted in the use of both natural and artificial preservatives. This research aimed at evaluation of the effect of selected preservatives on the nutritive indices of Phaseolus vulgaris (Kidney Beans) and Phaseolus lunatus (Lima Beans).

Materials and methods: The P. vulgaris and P. Lunatus used for this research were obtained in sac bags. In accordance with the research protocol. The both beans seeds were prepared and sent for preliminary analysis in laboratory before storage with selected preservatives proceed. The selected preservatives were procured and prepared for the preservation purpose following the research guidelines. The beans seeds were divided into airtight vessels and label it group A to E which were preserved with selected preservatives, DDVP (sniper), birds eye pepper, Aluminum phosphide, the group D was mixed with ash respectively while the fifth (group E) served as control and were left untreated with any preservative. The beans mixed with preservative were left to stay for 6 months. Standard methods were used to assess the effect of the preservatives on the proximate constituents, mineral concentrations and amino acid contents respectively compared with the control which was not mixed with any of the preservatives.

Results: It was observed from the results that the groups preserved with sniper and wood ash had lowest and highest % moisture content in both beans respectively, the crude proteins of the aluminum phosphide preserved beans showed a non-significant improvement in it % composition compared with control, there was also a non-significant (p ≤ 0.05) increase seen in the crude protein of the preserved groups when compared with control. For the crude fibre compositions it is observed that sniper preserved showed a significantly high content, with wood ash preserved group having the lowest % when compared with control.  For the carbohydrate all group preserved with the selected showed a statistically significant improvement with sniper preserved with highest value of compared with control. It was observed from the result also that pepper preserved group had a significantly higher Ca concentration of while highest phosphorus significant value was observed in pepper preserved group. The results showed that kidney beans and lima beans are rich in essential amino acids with Lysine showing the highest concentration among the essential amino acid with a value of 8.17 g for the pepper preserved and was noticed to be same across all the essential amino acids while wood ash preserved group show dis-improvement in amino acid concentration.

Conclusion: The observed improvements in some parameters showed that the chemical in some groups are more effective at some aspect while natural preservatives at some other points. Its effectiveness for a longer shelf life and stop or delay the growth of bacteria, suppress the reaction when food comes in contact with oxygen or heat, they also prevent the loss of some essential amino-acids and some vitamins enhance the food flavors and colors. The results of this study improvements in shelf life and nutritional values.

Abstract: Introduction: the aim of this study was to determine the perception of Allied Health Faculty undergraduate students towards online learning during the COVID-19 outbreak.  Methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted with undergraduate students of the Faculty of Allied Health at the University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka. A self-administered, four-part online questionnaire to assess demographic information; e-learning details; The insights and challenges from e-lessons were used for data collection.  Results: A total of 518 responses were received from the five areas of radiology (32.8%), nursing (24.9%), medical laboratory science (18.2%), pharmacy (14.5%) and physical therapy (9.7%), resulting in a response rate of .76.4%.The majority prefer smartphones (73.2%) to go online  and Zoom is the most used online communication platform (72.8%). The respondents' overall perception score ranged from 9 to 27 (Positive 18, Neutral ¼ 18, Negative 18) with a mean (SD) of 20.4 (4.0). Although the majority of   (59.7%) agree that online learning is more comfortable to communicate than conventional learning in , most respondents (48.3%) perceive negative about the delivery of practical and clinical coursework online. Poor internet connection (67.0%) and lack of electronic devices (53.3%)  is the biggest challenge encountered when learning online.  Conclusion: The majority of students have a positive perception of online learning. Online learning   appears to be an effective learning strategy as students have equal access to online facilities.  Implications for Practice: Although medical staff college students faced some challenges, they demonstrated flexibility and acceptance of an online learning strategy during the   pandemic. COVID-19. Therefore, a well-structured online learning program will benefit the students continuing to study during the pandemic.

Abstract: Blood banks strive to maximize the supply of blood from the right donor to the right patient in a timely manner.

They attempt to ensure effectiveness by requiring proof that a reasonable proportion of red blood cells, platelets, and plasma proteins survive storage before allowing new blood storage systems or blood-regulating products such as leukopenia filters^4,5. However, a reasonable ratio for erythrocytes is 75%, for platelets 67% and for plasma proteins 80%.Standards, such as insisting that every unit of blood be tested for HIV, only work if the tests are allowed to detect circulating virus, a moving target.
