Abstract: The banking sector in South Sudan has experienced more than a decade of significant financial risks since gaining independence from Sudan. Such risks that pose financial instability are characterized by internal and external factors like COVID-19 Pandemic and geopolitical tension both inside and outside the country.  The industry comprises of both local, Joint Venture and foreign commercial banks characterized by poor financial performance. Consequently, the number of banks is reported undercapitalized and non-compliance with statutory requirement of 20% reserve with the Central Bank.  This has led to the collapse of 14 domestic commercial banks as reported by both Bank of South Sudan and IMF. The financial sector is remaining vulnerable to risks that pose a threat to sustainability and financial viability, including liquidity, credit, exchange rate and interest rate risks.  The study sought to establish the effect of financial risk on the financial performance of South Sudanese commercial banks. The objectives were to determine the effect of liquidity and credit risks on the financial performance of commercial banks in South Sudan. The study adopted the theories of Liquidity Preference Theory, Credit Risk theory and Agency theories. Financial performance of commercial banks is to be assessed through ROA using data from 33 banks.  The study used a longitudinal research design that observed data series over a period of time in which the target population is 33 commercial banks from 2014 to 2022.  The researcher relied on secondary data and that were collected from audited financial statements of commercial banks and data obtained from Central Bank website.  The study employed descriptive and inferential statistics within the multiple regression model frameworks to analyze the data using EXCEL and EVIEWS 12 version. Diagnostic tests such as normality, multicollinearity, heteroscedasticity, and Stationarity tests were performed to eliminate unbiasedness. The study findings indicated that credit risk (Coef=3.2201,p=0.0323) had a statistically significant and positive effect on the financial performance while liquidity risk (Coef=0.0051, p=0.4135) had a statistically insignificant effect on the financial performance of commercial banks in South Sudan. The study recommended that banks should employ the use of swaps, spot, forward market, and bilateral agreement to reduce risk associated with exchange rates. Also study recommended banks to build trust and confidence with the public in order to reduce NPLs ratios, hence increase customers’ apathy to take loans that bring funds to the banks. Central bank to impose strict regulation on commercial banks to keep liquidity problems at bay that causing banks collapsed.

Abstract: The participation of women in the workforce has evolved significantly over the years, shifting from traditional full-time employment to contingent work arrangements. Contingent work provides flexibility but also presents various challenges for women in terms of job security and career growth. This study examines the trends and patterns of women's participation in the contingent workforce in India, analysing the benefits and drawbacks of this shift. Abstract: This study analyzes the relationship between provincial governance and the innovation capacity of enterprises in Vietnam’s food processing industry. Secondary data was utilized along with a Tobit regression model to clarify the impact level of certain intermediary variables that reflect the role of state management and firms' innovation activities (based on data from 1,424 enterprises).

The research findings highlight key factors influencing innovation capacity in the food processing sector, including human capital, investment in science and technology, and administrative procedure reforms. Other factors, such as the business environment, attracting Foreign Direct Investment (FDI), and innovation incentive policies, have a positive impact but are not significantly influential in the current context.

Based on these findings, the authors propose several policy implications to enhance the innovation capacity of the food processing industry in the coming period.

Abstract: The rapid advancement of technology, driven by globalization, has compelled organizations to adopt innovative approaches to remain competitive. Human Resource Management (HRM), particularly recruitment, has been significantly influenced by Artificial Intelligence (AI), which automates and enhances processes that were once manual. This study explores the impact of AI on recruitment, focusing on its ability to improve efficiency, minimize biases, and elevate the candidate experience. Through qualitative research, insights were gathered from HR professionals who actively utilize AI in hiring processes. The findings reveal that AI streamlines recruitment by automating tasks such as resume screening and interview scheduling, resulting in time and cost savings. Additionally, AI-powered tools contribute to more objective candidate evaluations, helping to mitigate unconscious bias. However, human oversight remains crucial to ensure fairness, ethical decision-making, and the consideration of factors beyond data-driven assessments. AI also enhances the candidate experience by providing personalized recommendations and real-time feedback. While AI significantly optimizes recruitment, the synergy between technology and human expertise is essential for achieving balanced and effective hiring outcomes.

Abstract: Cayenne pepper is a strategic commodity that has a high economic value. The need for cayenne pepper tends to increase every year. This is inseparable from the increasing population and the development of industries that require cayenne pepper raw materials. Per capita chili consumption per year is relatively stable with an average growth rate of 0.44% per year. The consumption of cayenne pepper by the household sector in 2021 is 528.14 thousand tons, an increase of 10.25% from 2020. The consumption of cayenne pepper from the household sector is 75.72% of the total consumption of cayenne pepper. West Nusa Tenggara Province is one of the cayenne pepper producing centers that contribute to national cayenne pepper production.

The production of cayenne pepper from West Nusa Tenggara is not only marketed in markets within West Nusa Tenggara, but also to markets outside the area. West Lombok Regency is the district with the second highest production of cayenne pepper in West Nusa Tenggara Province, which is 44,800 kw. In addition, the average price fluctuation of cayenne pepper in the Mandalika Main Market from January 2022 to December 2022 recorded the highest price of IDR 85,600 / kg in June. while the lowest price was IDR 24,850 / kg which occurred in November. The length of the marketing channel formed from the interaction of marketing institutions will affect the price received by consumers and the price received by farmers as producers.

The purpose of this study was to analyze marketing channels, analyze marketing functions and analyze the marketing efficiency of cayenne pepper in Kediri sub-district, West Lombok district, West Nusa Tenggara. By using descriptive analysis method analyze farmer's share marketing margin and marketing profit distribution.

The results showed that there are 5 (five) cayenne pepper marketing channels in Kediri sub-district which involve several marketing institutions, namely: intermediary traders, wholesalers, and retailers. The marketing function performed by most of the marketing institutions involved is to carry out the three main functions of marketing, namely the exchange function, physical function, and facility function. However, the storage function included in the physical function is only carried out by retailers. Other research results show that the level of efficiency of cayenne pepper marketing in Kediri sub-district, West Lombok district is efficient. With the results of research findings in the form of price share results received by farmers are above 60%. Marketing channel IV is a relatively more efficient channel compared to marketing channels I, II, III, and V, due to relatively lower marketing margins. The value of farmer's share is relatively higher, and the value of profit distribution is close to 1.

Abstract: This study explores the factors related to customer behavior influencing digital banking adoption in the context of Cyprus. Specifically, it examines key variables through the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) framework, focusing on four critical components: perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, security and trust, and awareness. By adopting a quantitative research approach, the study employs a structured survey methodology, with data collected from 234 respondents. The responses were analyzed using multiple regression techniques to investigate the relationships between the independent variables and the adoption of digital banking services.

The findings indicate that all four variables—perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, security and trust, and awareness—have a positive and statistically significant influence on the adoption of digital banking. These results underline the importance of understanding customer behavior and preferences in shaping digital banking solutions. For instance, perceived usefulness and ease of use highlight the need for intuitive and user-friendly platforms, while security and trust emphasize the critical role of robust cybersecurity measures. Similarly, awareness underscores the importance of educational campaigns to familiarize customers with digital banking technologies.

This study offers valuable insights for financial organizations, helping them devise strategic initiatives tailored to customer needs and preferences. By leveraging these findings, organizations can enhance customer satisfaction and drive the widespread acceptance of digital banking services in Cyprus. Moreover, the study’s implications extend to policymakers and practitioners, offering guidance to promote digital transformation in the banking sector and create a supportive ecosystem for financial technology innovation.

The results also emphasize the broader relevance of these factors, particularly for smaller European economies that share similar challenges and opportunities in digital banking adoption. These findings serve as a foundation for further research and practical strategies aimed at accelerating digital transformation in the financial sector.

Abstract: The study investigated the effect of financial decisions on financial stability of Kenyan Deposit-Taking Sacco Societies. Specifically, it analyzed how financial leverage, dividend policy, and liquidity as key indicators of financial decision-making, affect capital adequacy, which serves as a benchmark for assessing the financial stability of these institutions. The anchoring theoretical postulations included the theory of trade-off, dividend relevance theory, working capital management theory, and risk absorption theory. To achieve the research objectives explanatory research design was utilized. The study focused on DTS that have been operational from 2018 to 2022. Data of secondary nature was sourced via the audited annual statements of these DTSs finance, which were submitted to the Sacco Regulatory Authority. The findings revealed that financial leverage negatively and insignificantly affects financial stability, while dividend policy and liquidity both have a substantial positive effect on financial stability. Furthermore, the DTS’s size was noted to have significantly moderated the connection concerning financial decisions and financial stability. The study recommends strengthening existing regulatory frameworks to ensure DTS has robust liquidity risk management practices in place. This can include guidelines on liquidity stress testing, contingency funding plans, and liquidity ratio requirements. Clear and comprehensive regulations will help DTSs maintain adequate liquidity levels and mitigate liquidity-related risks.

Abstract: This study examines the relationship between the legitimacy of social media influencers and customer trust in brands, emphasizing the significant impact influencers have on modern marketing. In a time when social media has transformed consumer interactions, influencers have become crucial personalities, utilizing their authenticity to cultivate trust and loyalty among consumers. A quantitative cross-sectional survey was conducted with 150 participants aged 18 and older who interact with influencers on platforms like Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok. Data were gathered on influencer credibility, assessed through expertise, trustworthiness, and attractiveness, as well as consumer brand trust. The analysis demonstrated a substantial positive connection (r = 0.75, p < 0.01), signifying that enhanced views of influencer credibility are associated with improved brand trust. This discovery emphasizes the necessity of using reputable influencers in marketing tactics to enhance brand loyalty. The hypothesis testing validated the acceptance of the alternative hypothesis, indicating that influencer credibility greatly affects consumer brand trust. The findings from this research are essential for marketers aiming to enhance consumer relationships and cultivate brand loyalty via strategic influencer collaborations.

Abstract: This study aims to: (1) analyze production factors that influence tomato production in Aikmel subdistrict, East Lombok Regency; (2) analyze farmers' preferences in tomato farming in Aikmel subdistrict, East Lombok Regency. The research method used in this research is a quantitative descriptive method. The method used in data collection was a survey technique with interviews guided by a prepared questionnaire. The types of data in this research are qualitative and quantitative data, and the data sources used are primary data and secondary data. The number of respondents was determined using the Slovin formula, resulting in 72 respondents. The results of the study show that: (1) Based on the results of the F test where the calculated F statistic is 182.204 ≥ Ftable 2.353809, which means that all production factor variables (land area, seeds, fertilizer, pesticides and labor) together have a significant effect on tomato production in the Subdistrict Aikmel, East Lombok Regency. The t test results show that the calculated t- statistic of land area (2.904), seeds (2.675), fertilizer (12.147), pesticides (2.339), and labor (4.752) are greater than the t-table (1.668271) which means the variables have a partially significant effect on tomato production. (2) The results of the conjoint analysis of farmers' preferences in tomato farming in Aikmel Subdistrict are that the technology is simple, sufficient capital, profitable prices, decent income, done according to habit and extension is less necessary. The results of the Conjoint analysis show that the attributes that really influence farmers in carrying out tomato farming can be seen based on the order of importance of each attribute where technology has the highest level of importance value of 19.849, then capital with an importance value of 18.520, extension with an importance value of 18.410, culture with the importance value is 16,810, the price with the importance value is 13,605, and the income with the importance value is 12,807.

Abstract: The objective of this research is to present a comprehensive analysis of the intensity of industrial competition, resource availability, business strategies (specifically, service strategy based on Tri Kaya Parisudha, innovation strategy, partnership strategy, and social media promotion strategy), as well as the performance outcomes of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) engaged in the production of endek craft in the region of Bali. The study focuses on the population of SMEs engaged in the production of endek craft in Bali. Purposive sampling was utilized to choose 170 Bali endek craft SMEs managers/owners. The analysis technique used is descriptive analysis. The findings indicated that the level of industrial competitiveness encountered by endek craft SMEs in Bali was categorized as high. Similarly, the availability of the company's resources also falls within the high category. The implementation of the business strategy can be outlined as follows: the adoption of the service strategy based on the principles of Tri Kaya Parisudha demonstrates a high level of effectiveness, the innovation strategy is commendable, while the partnership strategy also exhibits a satisfactory level of performance. Additionally, the social media promotion strategy is deemed to be effective. Furthermore, the achievement of business performance has a considerably elevated level. Hence, it is imperative for SMEs in the craft industry in Bali to persistently diminish the level of industrial rivalry and augment the accessibility of company's resources. This approach would enable them to foster enhanced implementation of business strategies and ultimately enhance their overall business performance.

Abstract: The present research endeavors to examine the effects of exports, FDI, and CAB on the GDP of the BRICS nation. The study employs a thorough empirical analysis to investigate the dynamic interactions among these factors, with data spanning from 2003 to 2022. The results show that Exports (EXP01) are the most important positive driver of GDP growth in the BRICS nations, according to the correlation research (r=0.979), highlighting their vital significance in economic progress. The somewhat negative correlation (r=-0.532) between FDI and GDP points to inefficiencies in the leverage of foreign investments. Maintaining a strong trade and financial position is crucial, as evidenced by the Current Account Balance (CAB), which shows a somewhat positive association (r=0.653). In these economies, increasing exports and FDI utilization stand out as crucial tactics for long-term success.

Abstract: One of the non timber forest products (NTFPs) from Mareje Bonga Forest Area is bamboo. The bamboos are marketed in the form of baoo logs to several destinations, such as creaft centers.  This study has the objectives of: identifiying types of products processed from Mareje Bonga bamboo, both inside and outside the area; and propose strategies for developing the bamboo processing industry. The study benefits should reach all stakholders of the Forest of Mareje Bonga, Central Lombok, Indonesia. This research uses a descriptive method, and conducted in the area of Marje Bonga Forest, Central Lombok, Indonesia. The unit of analysis is bamboo products. Data were obtained from relevant sources, including literatures, research reports, and the sorts. This study concludes that bamboos from the area of Mareje Bonga Forest are amarketed inside and outside the area.  The bamboos are then processed into several bamboo products of high and low added values or profits. Inside the area of the forest, the higher profit was generated by large bucket.  Outside the forest area, three bamboo products were promising for their profits, i.e. berugak, set bench, and lazy bench. There are more types of bamboo products and more profitable bamboo products outside the forest area than the inside. Therefore, it is justifiable to recommend developing more bamboo products outsisde the region than the inside, as also supported by high demand. The entrepreneurs need imptove their business capacities, such as management, technical aspect, marketing, and so fort.

Abstract: Consumer behaviour towards online shopping refers to the actions and decisions made by individuals when purchasing products or services through online platforms. The rapid growth of e-commerce has led to an increase in online shopping, with consumers being able to browse, compare prices, and make purchases from the comfort of their homes. Studies have shown that consumer behaviour towards online shopping is influenced by several factors, including product quality, website design, price, convenience, and security. Consumers are also influenced by social factors such as reviews and recommendations from other customers. As a result, businesses have had to adapt their marketing strategies to cater to this shift in consumer behaviour.
