Abstract: In recent decades, meta-analysis has become an essential type of research in the field of educational sciences. This type of study synthesises published quantitative research on a specific topic. For this reason, this article offers a methodological protocol in which, from a didactic approach, we offer a series of recommendations and guidelines that could be useful to guide future researchers who are interested in this method of study. Through the explanation of the different phases involved in this process, we support ourselves on expert authors of this methodology and provide designs and support schemes that facilitate the performance of a meta-analysis of scientific rigour and quality. Finally, we also indicate a series of limitations and strengths inherent to the nature of this type of study.

Abstract: This paper examines the role of education in empowering girl child along the coastal areas of Tanzania. The study intends to ascertain the culture of coastal communities and cultural correlation of coastal communities to the role of education in empowering girl child. This study adopted a qualitative research approach to obtain data on the culture of coastal communities and its correlation to the role of education in empowering girl child. The researchers relied on observation, in-depth interview and focus group discussion for all the data collected. Data processing and analysis encompassed several stages. The N-Vivo version 11 software helped sort and organize raw data collected in the field work; this includes coding and identifying themes and subthemes. A ground theory approach to data analysis was employed to facilitate open coding and a constant comparison methodology. The grounded theory process entails a careful reading of data to gain in-depth familiarity with it, and subsequently identify key concepts and emerging issues. Findings of the study revealed that cultural practices in coastal areas include initiation ceremony to girls, involving girls in fishing and petty trading as a means of gaining income, and education is given priority to boys rather than girls. It was further revealed that some cultural practice in coastal communities resulted to the need of educating the society on the importances’ of education among girls. This is because through education they will be independent, confident and capable of dealing with life challenges’ in the contemporary society. This study among others, recommends that education should be given to a girl child in coastal communities in the same bases as boys given, some cultural practices should be stopped by educating parents, education should be taken as a priority to both boys and girls in coastal communities.

Abstract: Stereotyping has been a part of society to generalize what we think of different groups of people and although some are harmless, stereotypes can be seen as a negative way as well. Negative stereotypes can cause a multitude of effects to a student such as to their academic performance, self-esteem, and mental well-being which can influence them to not finish their college major and fulfill their dreams and shift to a different course altogether. This study focused on the effects of negative stereotyping and sorted them into three categories, psychological, academic, and career aspects. This thesis focused on the impact of stereotyping towards the Tourism and Hospitality students among selected higher education institutions in Dasmariñas, Cavite. The research is a qualitative research, purposive and convenience sampling techniques were used to identify the participants of the study. Narrative analysis is used in order to analyze and interpret the data gathered through interview, focus group discussion, and journals. Research shows that students knew about the stereotype and experienced it even before starting their college life. Although the stereotypes and discrimination somewhat affected the students at first, it was shown that the effect of stereotyping made them stronger and it didn’t let it stop them. Therefore, we the researchers conclude that most of the students managed to cope with the effects of stereotyping caused by different people they have interacted with. The researchers proposed that the colleges should have a course encouragement seminar to motivate their student’s to help them cope with the stereotypes.

Abstract: Teachers encourage college students who're inclined or prompted to do their high-satisfactory and achieve their mastering sports. Students' motivation makes coaching and mastering easier, extra thrilling, and extra productive. Abstract: Teacher quality is an essential element in every school that improves student attainment as well as an important factor contributing to student learning. Understanding of quality in teaching is at a quite early stage of development in many countries. In the review of the works of literature, it was found that there is no exact definition for quality teaching and that quality teaching is a combination of good teaching and successful teaching. Good teaching is the foundation for the idea of expertise as it is associated with the effectiveness of teaching behavior while successful teaching is wholly focused on the attainment of the learner. Again, student engagement in academics was designed to link good teaching and successful teaching. Quality teaching may differ from country to country and as such, policies geared towards teaching must be in line with quality and the role of the teacher to improve student performance.

Abstract: The study assessed domestic violence as predictors of delinquent behaviour among children in Kaduna State. Survey design was employed with two hundred and fifty (250) participants selected using simple random sampling technique drawn from Command Secondary School, Kachia Road, Government Day Secondary School, Kakuri in Kaduna South, and Borstal Training Institute Barnawa, Kaduna with the age ranges from 11-above years who were children both male and female. Questionnaire was used to collect data. Pearson Product Moment Correlation and Independent Sample t-test were used to test the hypotheses. Two hypotheses were tested. Hypothesis one revealed a mean and standard deviation scores for Domestic violence (M= 10.68, SD= 4.536) and delinquent behaviour (M= 12.79, SD= 3.518). Further analysis revealed a statistically significant r(248) = 0.311, P < 0.05  positive relationship between domestic violence and children delinquent behaviour. In other words, the hypothesis was confirmed. Hypothesis two reveals that there is no statistical significant difference in delinquent behaviour between children from low socio-economic status and their counterpart from high socio-economic status t(df=248)= -0.04, p.>.05). Observation of the means however indicates that children from high socio-economic status families scored slightly higher on delinquent behaviour (M=12.57, SD=2.61) compared to their counterparts from the low socio-economic status families (M=12.03, SD=2.78). This was however not confirmed. We concluded and recommended that relationship between domestic violence and juvenile delinquent behaviour in Kaduna South.  Parents and guardians should make sure that they give their children adequate attention at home especially in regard to incidence of violence either from the parents, relatives or peer group (friends) who they mix and mingle with.

Abstract:  This study aims to diagnose the effective role the process of distance learning plays in responding to the Corona pandemic, targeting the experience of the People's Republic of China. The study revealed that distance learning is a systematic process that includes the selection, preparation and delivery of educational materials in addition to the supervision and support of student learning. The process is attained by bridging the physical distance between the student and the teacher through at least one appropriate technical means. It is noteworthy that one of the most important effects of closing schools around the world is the interruption of this latter process. Learning, education and social isolation, denial of nutrition and unequal access to digital learning platforms, as well as disparities in child care worsened the situation. In response to the Corona pandemic, the People's Republic of China has launched several tele-education initiatives, including a supermarket for free courses and e-textbooks for primary and secondary schools provided by pep and Dink Talk to offer live-streaming lessons, to name few. The present study recommended the need to provide a good technological infrastructure for educational institutions in Algeria in order to facilitate the process of communication and distance communication, and the success of the educational process. The need to develop an integrated strategy in order to support the process of distance education, given the positive effects, especially at the time of the spread of epidemics and diseases, such as the Corona Pandemic, which hit the world today, is imperative. Similarly, the need to conclude international agreements with leading countries in the field of technology and digitization in order to benefit from their knowledge and expertise on the one hand, and to keep pace with rapid technological development that the world is witnessing today, on the other hand, is also vital.

Abstract: Blitar Regency, East Java Province, Indonesia, is one of the regions that continues to develop tourism. One type of tourist attraction that continues to be developed in Blitar Regency is a tourist village. In 2020 it was registered that there were 24 Tourism Villages in Blitar Regency. In 2021, there are around 11 tourist villages that will be appointed as tourist villages under the supervision of the Tourism, Culture, Youth and Sports (DISPARBUDPORA) Blitar Regency. One of the 11 tourist villages, which has been designated as a tourist village by the DISPARBUDPORA of Blitar Regency in February 2021, is the Sawentar Cultural Tourism Village, which is located in Kanigoro District, Blitar Regency. The tourism development strategy itself is important to develop and advance a tourist destination, including a tourist village, let alone a new tourism village (pilot). So in this study, we discuss the development strategy in the Sawentar Cultural Tourism Village using the Tourism Area Life Cycle (TALC) theoretical basis and the concept of Tourism, Tourism Attraction Components, Tourism Villages, Tourism Development and Tourism Development Strategies, CBT, CBT Development Strategies, Marketing , and the Concept of Tour Packages. The data collection techniques for this research were observation, interviews with purposive sampling, documentation, and SWOT analysis techniques.

This study focuses on the analysis of existing tourism activities in the Sawentar Cultural Tourism Village and strategies that can be taken to develop and advance tourism activities in the village. From this research, it can be concluded that the Sawentar Cultural Tourism Village is a tourism village that is in the exploration stage and has shown a transition to the involvement stage. Sawentar Cultural Tourism Village has both driving and inhibiting factors in tourism activities, both in terms of attractions, accessibility, amenities, and enthusiasm. In its development, strategies that can be carried out are strategies for strengthening human resources, strategies for making tour packages, and marketing strategies.

Abstract: Adapting the textbook has been implemented differently in a variety of teaching and learning contexts.  The present study was designed to gain college students’ perceptions on the extent to which their teachers employed the six adaptation strategies in their English classroom and the contribution of the adaptation to students’ learning.  The findings led to a conclusion that the teachers in the local school implemented all the six strategies. Two of them, simplifying and extending, were used the most frequently by those teachers. Research findings also showed that from the students’ perceptions, the adaptation produced by their teachers supported their learning by different ways. The findings helped to build stronger support for the use of textbook adaptation in English classrooms.

Abstract: The chief intent of this study was to decide the bearing of dynamic capabilities on the sustainable competitive advantageof Kenyan commercial banks. The precise intents of the analysis were to institute the inspiration of resource integration on the sustainable competitive advantageof commercial banks in Kenya, To examine the influence of competence building on the sustainable competitive advantageof commercial banks in Kenya, To find out how resource configuration influence sustainable competitive advantageof commercial banks in Kenya and to assess the influence of resource deployment on the sustainable competitive advantageof commercial banks in Kenya. This inquiry embraced a descriptive research design. The focus populace was all the 42 listed commercial banks, where three representatives from each bank were selected, each from the corporate, retail, and marketing, giving a target of 126. A sample of 95 was selected with the aid of the Krejcie and Morgan formula. The inquiry used both first-hand and secondary data. The use of questionnaires collected primary data. Secondary data was assembled with the help of a secondary data assembling form. The interviewees were given two weeks to fill out the questionnaires, and then they were collected for cleaning, coding, and analysis. Abstract: The fundamental goal of this inquiry was to determine the influence of non-Equity strategic partnerships on the operations of small and medium manufacturing firms in Kenya. The precise purpose of this research was to evaluate the impact of distribution agreements, outsourcing agreements, Licensing deals, and supply chain partnerships on MSMEs in the manufacturing sector in Kenya. This inquiry presumed a descriptive research design to articulate the association between the predictor variables and the dependent variable, and a selection of all the businesses wasmade. From a focus populace of 210 managers from 70 SMEs in Kariobangi Light Industries, the researcher picked a sample size of 187 managers to participate in the research as per the Krejcie and Morgan 1970 formula for calculating sample size. The inquiry used both first-hand and secondary data.The first-hand information was gathered using regulated inquiry forms. The researcher did data scrutiny using SPSS software, version 28, where the documents were amended, coded, and input into the software for analysis. Data results found out that Licensing Agreements, Distribution Agreements, Outsourcing agreements, and supply chain partnerships significantly and positively affect Manufacturing SMEs' performance in Kariobangi Light Industries, Kenya. The study recommends that Manufacturing SMEs in Kariobangi Light Industries embrace Licensing Agreements, Distribution Agreements, Outsourcing agreements, and Supply chain partnerships as they enhance the functioning of SMEs.

Abstract: The field of sports is one area that is highly impacted and disrupted since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. It has prevented athletes’ sport participation and impeded their time to train in a more suitable environment. They are forced to confine themselves at home and limit their sports activities into virtual trainings. Recently, the sporting community is slowly making its way back to safely resume practices and tournaments while the COVID-19 pandemic is still on-going. One approach that is being embraced by sports teams in the professional and collegiate levels is the concept of being in a sports bubble or a quarantine training camp. Under this kind of set-up, athletes and all related personnel are isolated from the general public for a period of time to perform sport-specific activities. Despite the clear benefits of having this type of training set-up, a sports bubble may also impact the mental and emotional wellness of the participants and elicit psychological strain on athletes. This paper conceptualizes an intervention that will promote the enhancement and use of self-management skills among student-athletes who are participating in a bubble type of training. It anchors itself to  the Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) framework which promotes the development of the following self-management competencies: regulating and expressing emotions thoughtfully, practicing perseverance and resilience to overcome obstacles, maintaining healthy boundaries, identifying and using stress management strategies, setting personal and collective goals, using planning and organization skills, and using feedback constructively.  The strategies and techniques used in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) which focus on four modules namely mindfulness, distress tolerance, interpersonal effectiveness and emotion regulation will be utilized to achieve these desired outcomes. The delivery of these strategies will be done through virtual group skills training, individual sessions, and phone coaching.

Abstract: Employee retention and talent management concerns are quickly becoming the most pressing workforce management challenges of the near future as human resource management paradigms shift. This study was on Private hospitals which are health organizations formed and owned by individuals or organizations to provide health services to citizens. The general objective of this study was to establish the influence of talent management on employees’ retention in private hospitals in Nairobi City County. Specifically, the objectives were to establish whether talent acquisition, talent development, employee performance and staff deployment influence employee retention in the private hospitals in Nairobi City County from the lenses of Nairobi Hospital which was the case study. The study adopted descriptive design, a case study where the target population comprising of all the employees in the hospital was used. The respondents were all permanent and pensionable employees and contract-based employees from all departments in Nairobi Hospital. In addition, human resource director was part of the respondents. Stratified sampling was used to select the respondents from different categorization of the hospital. A self-administered questionnaire was used as the main tool for data collection and was administered to a total of 168 respondents. Reliability of the study questionnaire was tested using Cronbach’s alpha coefficient which was found to be above 0.7 hence reliable. To measure the validity of research, content validity was used where experts scrutinized the questionnaire and found to be valid. The researcher analyzed data using both descriptive and inferential statistics. Statistical software (SPSS version 26) was used. The findings from these statistics were presented in the form of tables. Inferential statistics in the form of factor and principal component analysis was also conducted. The inferences made were used to tell apart the major factors that influenced employee turnover in private hospitals particularly the case of Nairobi hospital in Nairobi City County. The findings found out that, talent acquisition, talent management, employee performance and staff deployment significantly influenced employee retention in private hospitals in Nairobi City County but to moderate extent. Therefore, recommendations focused on working on the maturity of employees, improving the working conditions as well as fostering the leadership. Future research should focus on determining specific factors that influence retention in institutions to assist companies deal with similar situations

Abstract: Over the past three decades, risk management strategies have been an integral part for business continuity in many profit-oriented organizations. To achieve financial sustainability and increase profitability Organizations are obligated to review risks and plan for addressing, or mitigating, each of those risks to an acceptable level. In some cases, risks are accepted as is; in other cases, risks are transferred, and in still other cases, risks are minimized to a level acceptable to the organization. The impact of risk on the business environment deals with the level of understanding of cause effect relationships. The impact of a given state of events may cause uncertainty for a firm or business environment. By incorporating risk management into airport operations, JKIA is better equipped to exploit its resources; thereby enabling the organization to transform an expenditure activity into one that can yield a positive return. A risk management strategy is about achieving corporate goals. For many aviation organizations, dual goals exist such as the social and economic perspectives. The general objective of this study was to analyze the effect of risk management strategies on financial performance of JKIA. The study was guided by the following specific objectives: to find out the effect of  risk reduction strategy on financial performance of Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, to investigate the effect of risk mitigation strategy on financial performance of Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, to determine the effect of  risk assessment strategy on financial performance of  Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and finally to establish the effect of  risk transfer strategy on financial performance of Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. The study was based on portfolio theory, Stakeholder theory, Agency theory and Profit maximizing and competition-based theory. A descriptive research design was adopted. The target population of this study comprised of 400 respondents across all the departments and staff ranging from senior managers to junior staff attached at JKIA.Yamane’s formula (1967) was employed to determine the sample size to 120 staff members. Questionnaires were administered randomly to a sample of 120 respondents across the departments in the organization after a pilot study involving ten heads of sections in JKIA. The statistical package for social sciences, SPSS (version 24.0) was used for data analysis. Both descriptive statistics and inferential statistics were used to analyze the quantitative data. Stratified simple random sampling procedure will be used. Pearson’s correlation analysis was used to explore the relationships among the variables. This study established that risk reduction strategy significantly and positively influences financial performance of Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. The study also established that risk mitigation strategy was major and a positive influence on the financial performance of Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. The study further established that risk assessment strategy had a significant and positive impact on the financial performance of Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. Risk monitoring had significant and a positive effect on financial performance of Jomo Kenyatta International Airport as established in the study.

Abstract: Exercising and controlling power is to ensure that power is used for correct purposes, especially for powerful cadres and Party members, preventing the recession in morals, political thought and lifestyle of them - one of the dangers threatening regim and the Party. Therefore, during his revolutionary activities, Ho Chi Minh specially focused on political power control to prevent Party recession, contributing to making Party pure and strong as well as strengthen people’s belief in the Party and authorities bodies at all levels. This article focuses on showing Ho Chi Minh’s directions for exercising and controlling power in Vietnam nowadays.
