Abstract: This paper assessed the e-procurement adoption and procurement  process, a case of  District hospitals in Rwanda . This was  guided by three specific objectives: to establish the extent of ICT applications on the District’s hospitals procurement processes; to determine the challenges of e-procurement adoption on the procurement processes in District hospitals in Rwanda; to determine relationship between the individual factors and Procurement process in District hospitals in Rwanda. The target population of the study was comprised of 54 employees of District hospitals in Rwanda. The study used a purposive sampling technique. With purposive sampling technique as a type of non-probability sampling, the researcher uses his /her own judgment about which respondents to choose, and picks only those who meet the purpose of the study.Through structured questionnaires,the researcher was able to collect primary data. Secondary data were  collected from relevant literature review, business magazines, journals, internet and other relevant materials.  The study revealed that for 87.5% respondents, no relation were between procurement officers and Government suppliers.The study also revealed that 75% of respondents agreed to have received products of good quality at lower costs.The study found that majority of the respondents acknowledged that ICT applications like e –procurement in use in the District Hospitals had influenced the procurement processes.  In regards to finding out the relationship between individual  factors and procurement process the study finds that the relationship between the individual factors and Procurement process in District hospitals in Rwanda it was revealed that there is a positive relationship between human resource comptency in e-procurement and performance of contractors since r= .220, with p-value of 0.001 which is less than 0.01 as the significance level. The major challenge found in the study was that of High introduction costs for new solutions such as access to bandwidth and enterprise resource management systems that are key to implementing e-business. Organizations willing to implement e-procurement should therefore invest into structures and processes necessary for e-procurement implemention. Finally, the research found that for ICT to be easily implemented, information systems have to be set up by all players in the procurement procedures, structures will have to be invested on and processes standardized.   system in their procurement processes.

Abstract: The Philippine Folkdance scene is incredibly diverse. The Folk dances vary from various regions; the study assesses the “Cultural Heritage Value Of The Philippine Folk Dances In The Modern Tourism Industry”. The research is qualitative in nature, and the interview is used as an instrument; the respondents represent the different agencies involved in Philippine Folkdance, such as NCCA (National Commission of Culture and Arts), CCP (Cultural Center of the Philippines and Bayanihan Folk Arts Foundation.) The result shows that Philippine Folkdance in the modern world performing Philippine folk dance is still relevant in the modern world. The Philippine folk dance opportunities are the performance of Philippine Folkdance; to be known worldwide, and the potential lies in promoting Philippine Folkdance in tourism and creating a new dance identity with influences from the folk dances and the modern contemporary dances. Philippine Folkdance will survive in the future. To preserve the Philippine Folkdance: The creation of events and government programs is crucial. Philippine Folkdance is important culturally because it shows diversity and uniqueness: Considered intangible cultural heritage, while there has been a large change in performing the folk dance. Lastly, most Filipinos are still aware of the Philippine Folkdance, which creates a sense of pride among them. In contrast, most Folkdances are now performed in festivals as Entertainment and schools as a requirement to promote Philippine Folkdance. It is done through the Philippine Festival’s support, advertising Philippine Folkdance events through the internet, including other mediums, inviting professional, local, and community-based folk-dance groups to showcase their repertoire of folk dances and perform the national folk-dance workshop.

Abstract: Money laundering usually involves a series of multiple transactions used to mask the source of financial assets, so that these assets can be used without compromising criminals seeking to their use. Money laundering can happen through various intermediaries; bank transfers, both by wire and check, are the most common channels for illicit money transfers. Money Laundering has several devastating effects; it damages financial sector institutions that are critical for economic growth, promoting crime and corruption that slow economic growth, reducing efficiency in the real sector of the economy. Money laundering is a problem not only in the world’s major financial markets and sea centers but also in emerging markets. Cameroon has criminalized money-laundering in line with the United Nations Convention against Corruption which was signed on 10^th October, 2003, and ratified by the President of the Republic on 6^th February, 2006. Cameroon follows an all-crimes approach to money-laundering whereby all offences under the laws and regulations of Cameroon constitute predicate offences. In order to effectively combat money laundering, institutions have equally being put in place to combat it.

Abstract: Dystopia is a fictional society dominated by evil power in which immoral, corruption and malignity are prevailed. Dystopia has a significance in literature because it can be a  method of enlightening humanity about dangers of current social and political structures. Numbers of dystopian novels have been published describing the suffering and suppression in these societies. The main content of these novels point to the technological prevalence, governmental sovereignty, environmental destruction and salvation. As an example, we will dive in a deep analyzing for the dystopian novel (Fahrenheit 451)  by Ray Bradbury. The title of the novel refers to the temperature at which paper burn. The ban of the books imposed by the American government on people. Fahrenheit 451 is an oppressive future. The novel is about a fireman whose duty to destroy all books begins to question his task.

Abstract: Over the ages, humanity has been classist and getting divided more than united over issues of life and existential living. Hargreaves argues that kinds of life jobs have also become one of the classist stoop to divide people according to their employments to the effect that other jobs have been argued to be not equal with others and some people suffer less respect than others. It requires a critical thinking that the profession that foundationally and literally serves as the basis of all professions is now argued to be not a profession but somehow something like a mere calling and a mission. It is on that backdrop that I hereby endeavor to use analytical theory to analyze and critique views that came forth to argue different perspectives concerning the practice or the career of teaching. This writing is to set forth that since teaching has the requirements of a skilled labor and a profession; it makes more sense than not to consider it a fully-fledged profession that requires a paramount status like other professions. It is in fact a noble profession because it even produces all these other known professions. Since this paper defends the importance of teaching as a profession I set forth to settle some incoherent questions that critics of education offer to downgrade teaching as a profession. With analytic theory I will be able to peruse and critically analyze the available literature, and without any bias or stereotype, I will be able to offer my defensible views as amicable as possible. Since the purpose of this study is to analyze the available literature and investigate the understanding of scholars with regards to this concept of professionalism and profession, analytic theoretical framework will be used. My basic argument is that it is not the case that teaching should be a profession, but that it is in fact a fully-fledged profession that should be recognized as such by all other professionals. With my stated purpose and aim of this study it becomes quite clear that its importance lies in defending teaching as a noble profession that deserves an equal honor and respect at a similar level with other established professions. At the end, this study is aimed at clarifying the mysteries and misconceptions that tend to discourage some people who want to start a career in education/ teaching as an honorable profession.

Abstract: The study was focus on the employees training programs provided to enhance the offering of legal services and employee’s appraisal system encountered in offering legal services in Kilimanjaro courts. Questionnaires were used to collect primary data from Kilimanjaro courts. A cross-sectional survey research design was used in this study. Data were collected from 136 employees of Kilimanjaro courts using simple randomly sampling. Descriptive analysis was employed to analyze significance between variable. Results of the study indicate that majority of participants agree that training have contribution in offering legal service. Results shows that employee training have impact in offering legal services in the study area. At the same time, respondents agree that appraisal system for staff have more contribution in the overall organizational value. It’s concluded that employee training and appraisal system have a significant relationship with employee performance in offering legal services. It is recommended that, more training should be done to upgrade employee in the court system of Tanzania, but also the feedback for the appraisal should be given to staff as early as possible when the process is over. This will help staff to make much more efforts in areas where they have not scored higher grades for their career development.

Abstract: The aims of this study include gathering and documenting the indigenous traditional norms and knowledge of Al-Ghyoul water resources shares and distributions in selected Yemeni Region. It also studies, analyzes, identifies common and variable practices and problems under the conditions of different communities/regions. It also attempts to formulate appropriate actions to remedy threatening obstacles. The field data collection for the study covered selected governorates where such traditional irrigation systems prevail like Taiz, Bib, Hadhramaut, Shabwah. It used a descriptive approach through literature review, like documents and reports, field observations, survey questionnaire, individual interviews with key informant (KII), and discussion meetings with specialists, local officials, local leaders, and farmers. The study identifies some prevailing norms and mores that characterize traditional Al-Ghyoul irrigations systems including the rules of water shares distribution, rehabilitation and maintenance as well as conflict resolution. However, it observed some slight variation from one location to another. Some of the inherited local customs have been changing due to the introduction of modern technologies and socio-political changes, draught and climatic change. This in turn has negatively affected the common indigenous irrigation practices. The study concluded with some recommendations for future consideration.

Abstract: Population Census in India is conducted once in every ten years under the census Act 1948 and Census rules 1990. Census of India is conducted in two phases. First phase is House listing and Housing Census and second phase in Population Enumeration. Here an attempt has been made to evaluate the districts of all eight states of North East India on the basis of Rural Data of House listing and Housing Census of Census of India 2011. The three broad categories of House listing & Housing Census data are Housing condition, Amenities and Assets, based on which the analysis has been done. Statistical techniques like Probability, Rank Test and other Descriptive Statistical Theories have been applied.

Abstract: Diversity generally refers to a reality of coexistence of diverse knowledge, laws, religions, languages, genders, ethnicities, races, nationalities, etc, of human beings. It could extend to the way people react to this reality and the way people choose to live together with this reality.

Assam is extremely diverse in terms of ethnic linguistic and cultural composition. However, these diverse communities have had different historical and political experiences and as a result many of the communities still perceive them as unique entities. The boundary-making process in the North-Eastern region of India during the colonial rule to post-independence impacts how one defines who is an ‘Assamese’.This brings us to the question of hills and plains and the contesting life that the masses experience on an everyday basis.

This study aims to redefine and rediscover the incident in Assam back in 2018, where two young talented souls, namely Abhi and Neel, lost their lives out of collective Mob lynching. Through this case, we are significantly trying to analyze the ‘outsider’ and ‘insider’ perspectives of Assam. Alongside, we will also try to look into the everyday experiences of conflict that are present in the socio-political division of hills and plains in Assam.

Abstract: India is the agriculture based country in the world and most of the people were depend on agriculture mode of life. The major livelihoods in this area of the study are related to irrigation based agricultural practices. How far irrigation has influence on income of youth cultivators? What is the other non-water related factors influencing income level of youth cultivators? The paper addresses these questions. Irrigation plays an important role in improving production and productivity of agriculture.

The present research study try to highlight the involvement of youth in agricultural activities and income impact of irrigation study has been done in Nalluru village of Davanagere district, Karnataka. Consisting of 150 households, having different livelihoods, a set of 55 respondents have been found out whose main occupation is cultivation and annual income comes under below poverty line (BPL). Among these 55 cultivators a sample of 20 youth cultivators has been selected by using simple random sampling without replacement (SRSWOR) method and further required data have been collected for this sample group using a pre-tested questionnaire consisting of both quantitative and qualitative variables. Finally, conclude the findings of study.

Abstract: Mass mobilization holds a special position and importance in stabilizing the socio-political situation in the northern mountainous provinces of Vietnam. Applying Ho Chi Minh's ideology on mass mobilization work; under the direction of the Central Government, the mass mobilization work of this area has made remarkable progress. However, in the face of constant changes of the international and domestic situation, the mass mobilization work here still has limitations and weaknesses. The region's three biggest bottlenecks are institutions, human resources, and infrastructure that have yet to be removed. Therefore, innovating the contents and methods of mass mobilization to gradually improve the quality of operation of the mass mobilization system at all levels in the northern mountainous provinces according to Ho Chi Minh's ideology is a very necessary task to achieve this goal to meet the requirements of combining national strength with the strength of the times in the current period. The article goes into depth analysis of the guiding perspective on reforming mass mobilization work in the northern mountainous provinces of Vietnam today according to Ho Chi Minh's ideology.

Bu tezde, Arap gayrimenkul şirketlerinin satışlarının Türkiye'nin geliri üzerindeki etkisinin araştırılması, 2015-2020 yılları arasındaki yılları, enflasyona göre düzeltilmiş konut fiyatlarındaki değişimi, konut amaçlı gayrimenkul fiyatları - endeksi, nominal konut gayrimenkul fiyatları ve Bu tez Türkiye'de son altı yılda gayrimenkul yatırım ortamının koşullarına ışık tutmaktadır.

Türkiye'deki yatırım ortamının analizini ve Türkiye'deki ana gayrimenkul yatırım politikalarını da içeren çalışma metodolojisini kullandık, analizler için bir zaman serisi modeli de kullandık, sonuçlar enflasyondan arındırılmış değişim arasındaki ilişki Türkiye'nin GSYİH'si üzerinde konut fiyatları, Türkiye'de GSYİH üzerinde nominal konut gayrimenkul fiyatları arasında bir ilişki olduğunu da gösterdi, ancak sonuç, Türkiye'de GSYİH'nın bir göstergesi olan konut gayrimenkul fiyatları arasında bir ilişki olmadığını da gösterdi.

Abstract: This paper investigated the impact of sales of Arab real estate companies on Turkey's income from 2015 to 2020, the change in inflation-adjusted housing prices, residential real estate prices - index, nominal residential real estate prices. This thesis sheds light on the conditions of Turkey's real estate investment environment during the past six years. We used the study methodology that includes analyzing Turkey's investment environment and studying Turkey's central property investment policies. We also used a time series model for the analyzes. The results showed a relationship between the change in inflation-adjusted housing prices on the GDP of Turkey. They showed an association between nominal residential real estate prices on the GDP in Turkey. However, the result also showed no relationship between residential real estate prices - an indicator of GDP in Turkey.

Abstract: This work examined the extent Information resources provision of National Open University of Nigeria meet the information needs of their students in Southeast Nigeria. Three research questions guided the study. Descriptive survey research design was adopted for the study. The population of the study comprised 42,200 NOUN Students from four study centers in southeast out of which 2111 were sampled. Random sampling technique was used to draw the sample. Instrument for data collection was a structured questionnaire. Its reliability was established using Cronbach alpha. Data collected was analyzed using arithmetic mean. From the analysis, given that the various information resources needed by students are to a high extent, more so the provided information resources by NOUN to its students to meet their information need are to a low extent. However these were not without challenges ranging from poor funding, inadequate provision of information resources, and irregular power supply and so on but they further highlighted some solutions to the challenges.  Based on the findings, the study recommends that the stakeholders should oftentimes conduct a resources verification exercise on the resources and facilities of the NOUN programme and they should also ensure that the policy and the vision statement that established the NOUN programme are strictly followed.

Abstract: This study explores the drinking water demand and how it has been on the increase due to the rapid growth of population and better living standards which are resulted from the global economic development. It has been on the critical observations and witnesses that drinking water available for the withdrawal and usage has been declined due to climate change arising from accelerated urbanization and industrial revolution. Under this drinking water scarcity conditions, foremost importance of drinking water supply should be equitable distribution of limited available drinking water to all the consumers. In addition to the above discussion, it pictures the real conditions of the people dwelling in Kadalmangalam panchayat in Kancheepuram district, of how they manage to survive only with the piped water supplied by the local panchayat administration.  The results of this study revealed that the drinking water scarcity has pushed the villagers of Kadalmangalam panchayat to compulsorily depend on piped water provided by the panchayat administration. Thus the results indicate that drinking water supply through public taps/ stand posts need to be improved.
