Abstract: This paper is focused on examining the degree of gender dysphoria of transgender men before they underwent a cross hormonal treatment.  They were given a clinical assessment and interview about how they come out with the decision to take testosterone treatment and how does it affects their physical and psychosocial-emotional changes. Case study design concurrent triangulation strategy was utilized in this study. There were three cases of transgender men who were willingly volunteered to be part of the study. The five-point Likert instrument, Gender Dysphoria Propensity Scale (GDPS) developed by the author was administered to 155 Proud gays and 154 proud lesbians with an inter item reliability Cronbach alpha of .95. Scores were tallied with a mean of 4.72 which means they have severe tendency to associate or manifest behavior of Gender Dysphoria which they undergo severe disturbance in terms of mind-body incongruence. They have the tendency to feel that they are disconnected to their body or wrongfully trapped to that body to the extent that they are preoccupied of suicidal ideation. Hence, the only solution is cross-sex hormonal treatment. The result was complimented by clinical interview and now that they are taking testosterone for at least one year, major impact and changes on their life expectations were revealed.

Abstract: Inter-religious dialogue among different ethnicity and social background is a unique experience especially for those who newly become believers of certain faith. Dialogue is a process of conversation through speech. Abstract: This study aims to measuring customer perceptions of service quality towards EAT ME restaurant by conducting a GAP analysis to access the GAP between customer expectations and perceptions. EAT ME restaurant is located in the metropolitan City of Bangkok and a veteran of the Bangkok dining scene, Eat Me still feels fresh and exciting, the restaurant has a cool, laid-back vibe, attracting a young international crowd who like to party. Set over two floors with a sleek, muted color scheme, the restaurant houses a bar and a bamboo-shrouded veranda, which is irresistibly romantic at night when illuminated by flickering candlelight. Friendly staff and fabulous cocktails (the fig and ginger martini is a favorite) are further reasons to visit – and help explain why Eat Me is much-loved as a late-night dining destination. This research is to find out the expectation levels of services at EAT ME restaurant in customer’s mind. Also, to identify the problem areas regarding service quality issues at EAT ME restaurant.

The SERVQUAL instrument itself is discussed, and a demonstration of how it can be used by EAT ME restaurant in assessing quality service is included. The managerial implications of using SERVQUAL as an assessment tool include meeting and managing customer expectations, managing the physical design of the product, educating service customers, developing a total quality management program, achieving continuous quality through automation, and engaging in periodic review of the procedures, personnel, and property of the operation. With the assessment knowledge generated by such a review, Eat ME restaurant may then begin to manage their strengths and weaknesses productively.

The survey research via questionnaire was used to collect the primary data. The target population of this research was customers who prior experience with EAT ME Restaurant, Central Town of Bangkok that was the location for studying in this research and the sample size for this study is 278.

In this research, the five SERVQUAL dimensions – reliability, assurance, tangible, empathy, and responsiveness were used to measure customer expectations and perceptions on the service quality of EAT ME restaurant. From this study, the restaurant’s service performance failed to meet customer expectations in all five dimensions.

Abstract: HIV/AIDS has had a devastating impact at individual, household and community levels. AIDS has challenged several aspects of contemporary social life and conventional approaches to health care. The social and medical responses to diseases have probably not been challenged so intensely for a long time. One social response to HIV/AIDS that has received much attention is the counselling of people affected by the disease. This paper reviews pertinent issues that must be considered when counselling people who are affected. These are discussed from the point of view of goals of counselling derived from two different counselling situations: counselling for the prevention of transmission that addresses both infected and non-infected people and counselling for the provision of psychological support for those who are affected. Counselling in HIV/AIDS care is unique but there are similarities and differences between counselling in HIV/AIDS care and counselling for general health promotion. Some of the problems associated with HIV/AIDS counselling in Delhi are presented and some ways of dealing with them are suggested.it also be provides the remarkable approaches of counselling to enhance the life style patters of HIV Positives. This qualitative research investigates the role of HIV Integrated counselling and testing centre (ICTC) and treatment in enabling HIV-positive to cope with this disease. They described experiencing gender-variant stigma and depression on confirming their HIV status and commended the role of counselling in supporting them to adopt positive living.

Abstract: This research aimed at determining the relationship between anxiety and classroom performance among pupils in Rachuonyo North District, Kenya. The study had the following objective: to find out the relationship between anxiety and classroom performance of pupils. The research used both descriptive survey design. The researcher used district list of schools to sample pupils. Using stratified sampling techniques, the district was divided into divisions and zones. From each zone, schools were listed in alphabetical order and numbered from one to last. Pieces of papers numbered one to the last were folded, put in a box, shuffled and then picked. Picked numbers represented schools that were then sampled. A random selection of 507 pupils both males and females in class four in selected eighteen schools of Rachuonyo North District were used. The district has a child population of 6,646 in class four. This class has middle childhood years which the research focused on. Questionnaires were used to identify factors leading to social  anxiety in children, they included; Revised Children Manifest Anxiety Scale (RCMAS) specifically adapted for Kenya conditions, was administered to measure the level of anxiety as brought by social situations. To identify the level of test anxiety of pupils in science and art subjects, Test Anxiety Scale for Children (TASC) was modified to fit Kenyan conditions and administered to the subjects. Both science and art tests were administered to all the subjects. Research instruments were pretested at Pier Got and Otok primary schools to establish their reliability and validity. The two pilot schools did not take part in the actual research. Ambiguities detected in the instruments were corrected according to the advice of research peers before field administration. The results of the study are presented in tables, percentages, and bar graphs. The data were analyzed using SPSS. The results showed that high anxiety facilitated performance in the classroom.(r=0.76) in sciences and(r=0.41) in art. The study concluded by suggesting that a similar study be replicated in urban primary schools to give more accurate generalizations of the findings. The research recommends that school managers should establish the department of guidance and counseling in primary schools to identify children anxiety levels and put early interventions to elevate test anxiety(their ego) which leads to better performance and counteract high social anxiety that hinder classroom performance. It was also recommended that a similar research be carried out with a class seven or in private schools.

Abstract: The present paper aims at highlighting some specific components of Central Asian culture which despite   witnessing the onslaughts   of Soviet cultural policy preserved its originality and flavour even after adopting   assimilating approach during seven decades of soviet rule. Abstract: The regulatory system may be cited as the Sacco Societies (Deposit Taking Sacco Business) regulations 2010.The purpose of these regulations is to provide minimum operational regulations and prudential standards required of a Deposit-Taking Sacco Societies (DTS) in Kenya. The purpose of this study was to establish the influence the regulatory system on implementation of strategic plans DTS in Nairobi County. The study targeted the Chief Executive officers of licensed DTS in Nairobi County. The study used questionnaires to collect primary data and such formal records and SASRA reports to collect secondary data. Purposive sampling method was adopted to identify a population that constituted the sample. The quantitative data collected was analyzed by the use of descriptive statistics using the statistical package for social science (SPSS) and the results were presented informs of tables and graphs. Corporate governance and risk management regulations had great influence on implementation of Saccos strategic plans while regulation on capitalization had some influence but not as significant as the first two. This therefore led to conclusion that the regulatory system has influence on implementation of strategic plans of Saccos in Kenya.

Abstract: New historicism is a system for perusing an abstract content which comes in the late 1970's and mid 1980's especially in the basic investigation of the English Renaissance writings. Abstract: A disability is a continuous condition that prevents people from engaging in some daily activities. People with disabilities often feel separated because they are unable to do things in the same way as those in mainstream society. Many researchers have addressed disability research and how it should be conducted; some of the arguments are concerned about the level of involvement of people with disability in disability research and who should be in control of the research and decision-making processes. This paper will review several methodological approaches to involving people with disabilities in disability research. The methods offer varying levels of involvement, depending on the type and level of disability. The methods addressed here are participatory action research (PAR), collaborative research, consultation, and steering and advisory groups. Each method features unique ways of empowering people with disabilities.

Abstract: This paper focuses on the use of code-switching in learning English by Iraqi students. The model which is adopted to explore the teacher's perceptions on code switching and how code switching facilities in the progress of teaching and learning of English as a second language under Tellis (1997) The sample of this study is 2 teachers who are awarded with qualifications like TESL.  At least they have got more than 4 years of teaching experience. The study also employed two types of date collection method; they are open-ended interview using an interview schedule and classroom observation using a camera. The aims of the study are to have a look at when teacher are switching codes depending on the situation and to investigate in which of the circumstances, using ARABIC is wanted. This research discovered that using ARABIC in ELT is tailing to suit the teacher’ needs to the benefit of the students’ learning process.

Abstract: Many people are affected by different types of vision impairment. Some of these types are less severe, while other forms constitute mild to extremely severe impairment. Visually impaired (VI) refers to low-vision individuals who after all treatments can still rely on some of their vision to plan and carry out some daily tasks, but they are unable to read print from a normal viewing distance, even if they use eyeglasses or other aids. In addition, they rely on a combination of vision and other senses to learn and perform their daily activities. This paper specifically considers the different types of vision impairment, causes of vision loss, strategies to cope with vision loss, vision impairment and sensory compensation, and assistive tools for low-vision people.

Abstract: Sexual Harassment has become a part and partial of life for every woman, in today’s era as most of the women step outside from their home every day either to earn for the survival of family or for carrier. Most of the women have also accepted it as part of their lives, as being women. Even if there are provisions of various Acts and defense mechanisms to protect women against sexual harassment, very little portion of women are aware of this. A country like India, where more than 60% of women work in informal sector, it creates more vulnerability for them. The paper shows that even in the case of the educated women, there seems very little awareness on various Acts and defense mechanisms related to sexual harassment. The study also highlights the importance of dissemination of information through some kind of intervention. At least in the short term perspective, the qualitative analysis reveals the change better than the quantitative analysis.

Abstract: The present study was carried out with unorganized workers trained by Central Board for Workers Education at Nagpur district. An attempt has been made in the paper to understand the socio-economic conditions of unorganized workers, nature of their work, income, housing, education occupation, water supply, amenities and facilities available with them. Both probability and non-probability sampling techniques was applied to collect data from 300 unorganized workers from Nagpur district.  Finding show that majority of the unorganized workers were engaged in Farm labour, Casual labour, Mines labour, Construction labour and domestic labour having worker’s per capita income was between Rs. 2001/- to Rs. 3000/-. The majority of unorganized workers were below the higher secondary education but they were computer illiterate. They were having basic amenities facility like fan, cell phone, television, LPG gas, washing machine and computer. Majority of workers family’s having electricity connection and water connection.
