Abstract: According to Matthew 28:19-20, Jesus commissioned His disciples saying: “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that He has commanded them. He promised to be with them always, even to the end of the age. Jesus’ disciples accomplished the task in their time, but Jesus’ work continue. According to Pew Research Center (2017), only 31% of people worldwide have heard the gospel of salvation to get life, with a share of 26% living in sub-Saharan Africa. Since the establishment of Christianity as the official religion of the Roman Empire by Constantine (312 A.D), no significant progress was made towards world evangelism as commissioned by Jesus. Despite the high rate of Christianity among African populations, his influence may not be enough perceived while Christian denominational churches are in multiplication over many African countries, Rwanda included.

Many Christian denominations in Africa, even in Rwanda preach religious gospel that do not transform heart and mind of their members from carnal to Christ-like character. False doctrine is preached, spread and believed as true in some denominational Christian Churches. Many Christians ignorant of Jesus’s gospel struggle with the relationship between their spirituality and indigenous beliefs and religions, and their spirituality became a blend of native beliefs and traditions with some Christian’s expressions. Pentecostal church of Rwanda-ADEPR birthed in 1940 among Christian denominations with the purpose to accomplish the great commission following the New Testament model. In view of evolution of the Pentecostal church of Rwanda since its setting, his growth in quality have dramatically decreased from 2010 up to now, and his physical growth have no significant impact. His servant leadership influence seemed to be not enough perceivable. The existing literature does not avail any research work about Christian churches’ achievements towards the fulfillment of the great commission.

This study contributes to fill the gap, aiming to investigate the influence of servant leadership on church members towards the fulfillment of the great commission in the Pentecostal Church of Rwanda-Gasabo District. The research question of the study was: Does servant leadership of the Pentecostal Church of Rwanda/Gasabo District influence Church members towards the fulfillment of the great commission? The objectives of the study were: to identify the influence of servant leadership on church members towards the fulfillment of the great commission in Pentecostal Church of Rwanda, Gasabo District; to assess the characteristics of servant leadership that influence church members towards the fulfillment of the Great Commission among the church leadership of the Pentecostal church of Rwanda, Gasabo District; to analyze strengths and weakness in the influence of servant leadership on church members towards the fulfillment of the great commission in Pentecostal Church of Rwanda, Gasabo District; to give conclusion and recommendation about the implementation of the Great Commission.

The study was a case study and qualitative, with a sample size of one hundred people.

The results of the study showed the influence of servant leadership on church members towards the fulfillment of the great commission in the Pentecostal church of Rwanda in Gasabo District was very bad.

The recommendations were:

- Eradicate ignorance of doctrinal knowledge of Christianity among the majority of his church members by using effective doctrinal teaching strategies.

- The Church leadership should envision offering well molded mentorship on behalf of all believers to ensure their spiritual growth.

 We suggested for further research to explore effective ways for the church leadership to raise a qualified servant leadership influencing church members towards the fulfillment of the great commission;

And for the church leadership to explore effective methodes and strategies to train and equip members for an authentic christian life intentionally and effectivelly participating to fulfill the great commission.

Abstract: This study was set to investigate the relationship between guidance and counseling services on the academic achievement of undergraduate students in the high learning institutions. The research will be guided by three specific objectives: to determine the factors that influence students’ search for guidance and counseling and how they affect the Academic Achievement of the learners in the high learning institutions in Rwanda. To evaluate the relationship between techniques applied during counseling and students’ Academic Achievement in the high learning institutions in Rwanda. To assess the challenges that hinder effective guidance and counseling of the learners in the high learning institutions in Rwanda. This study was anchored by the theory of common factors theory. This study used correlational and descriptive design and applied both qualitative and quantitative data. The participants included the students who underwent counselling under Mount Kenya University in the department of counselling between the periods between 2022 to 2023. The study population included the 72 students who underwent counseling from which a sample size of 62 respondents calculated using the Slovenes formula, which is commonly used for calculating sample size in research. Purposive sampling technique was applied in selecting the students and staff to form the sample. The data collection instruments were the questionnaire. Data was collected through structured questionnaires and interviews, with reliability and validity confirmed through pilot testing and expert reviews. Regression of coefficients was applied to calculate the relationship between the research variables. On the first objective, the results on the regression coefficient show that there was a significant association at a value of 0.299. The associated t-statistic value was found to be 4.406 with a p-value of 0.000. The intercept was found to be 2.528, which indicate that other variables could be included to improve the model. Techniques applied during counselling and how they affect students’ Academic Achievement at  MKUR, the coefficient of association results show that there was a significant association at a value of 0.086. The associated t-statistic value was found to be 5.733 with a p-value of 0.000. The intercept was found to be 2.528, which indicate that other variables could be included to improve the model. The p-value was found to be 0.000, which is very significant.   The coefficient of association for Challenges hinder effective guidance and counselling of the learners at MKUR. The results show that there was a significant association at a value of -0.176. The associated t-statistic value was found to be -4.086 with a p-value of 0.000. The intercept was found to be 2.528. The p-value was found to be 0.000, which is very significant. This implies that there was a positive and significant relationship between the variation in the students achievement which was caused by three components; Factors influenced you to want to seek for guidance and counselling services at MKUR, Techniques applied during counselling and Challenges hinder effective guidance and counselling of the learners at MKUR.

Abstract: The research examined the impact of Information Systems on the competitive advantage of private universities in Nairobi County, utilizing a literature review primarily from academic journals. It aimed to understand how these systems enhance operational efficiency, decision-making, and competitive positioning in higher education. The study analyzed case studies and theoretical frameworks, identifying key trends and best practices in educational Information Systems. It highlighted dimensions of competitive advantage influenced by these systems, such as cost leadership, differentiation, and focus strategies, and explored how universities use technology to streamline processes, engage students, and innovate teaching methods. Findings indicated that institutions effectively leveraging Information Systems are better positioned to meet the evolving demands of the education sector, attracting more students and enhancing their reputation. The research also emphasized the need to align Information Systems with strategic goals and invest in technology and training for faculty and staff. Ultimately, the study concluded that successful implementation of Information Systems provides a competitive edge and supports the long-term sustainability of private universities in Nairobi County.

Abstract: The teaching of English for Specific Purposes (ESP) has generally been seen as a distinct activity within English Language Teaching. The teaching of ESP has developed its own methodology based on research in various disciplines. ESP teaching involves both specific disciplinary knowledge and English Language knowledge. A specific discipline has its own nature and linguistic features. In an age of disciplines diversified and knowledge updated unprecedentedly, it is almost impossible for ESP teachers to have specialized knowledge in different academic fields. The paper presents the concept of the collaboration of subject teachers and English teachers, introducing two modes of collaboration on course books and team teaching to explore the efficient methods of teaching ESP. The collaborative modes are applied to practical teaching and adjusted from a pragmatic perspective, illustrating the modes of collaboration between subject teachers and English teachers.

Abstract: Nowadays, developing country like India is facing a major problem of currency devaluation. Economic and strategic support taken by a country, India has become the major trading partner of US. The impact of currency devaluation against the dollar on TCS for the period 2012 to 2023 has been investigated in this paper. It has seen that the Indian Rupees soaring to new highs against the dollar and subsequently falling to new lows. Every company has its ultimate aim to Growth. Increase in competition with the Changing times has provided a competitive edge to a company over others. Abstract: Following the enactment of the Nagaland Liquor Total Prohibition (NLTP) Act in 1989, Nagaland became the third state in India to impose a statutory ban on alcohol. This legislation was introduced largely due to the advocacy of civil society organizations (CSOs), such as the Naga Mothers’ Association and prominent church groups like the Nagaland Baptist Church Council, despite minimal political commitment from the state government. However, liquor remains readily accessible, particularly in the districts of Dimapur, Chumoukedima, and Niuland, which collectively have a population of approximately four lakh. This widespread availability has fueled growing skepticism about the effectiveness of CSOs in enforcing the NLTP Act. While the role of CSOs in social and political advocacy has been widely studied, their specific contributions to the implementation of this Act remain underexplored in academic literature. Using qualitative research methods and purposive sampling, this study relies on personal interviews with CSO leaders to examine their roles, with a particular focus on Sumi CSOs, in enforcing liquor prohibition in Nagaland. The findings reveal that CSOs have largely failed to fulfill their mandate in ensuring the Act’s effective implementation, raising critical questions about their capacity and approach in the context of liquor prohibition enforcement.

Abstract: In Rwanda, the problem of moral crisis as abortions, drug addictions, alcoholism, sexual immorality, divorces, economic exploitation and crimes, people with mental disorders and suicides have steadily increased in recent years, and plague social relations. Christianity, having the mandate to relieve the burden of these problems when it strongly works in conformity with its orthodox principles, may not seem to meet the requirements for a healthy Christian life responding to the moral values expected from members, called Christians. This study aims to provide a vision for developing a Church Leadership in Rwanda for effective discipleship to recover its mission given by the Lord Jesus Christ to His disciples. According to Matthew 28 verse 19-20, Jesus has commanded His disciples to go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Teaching to observe all things that Jesus has commanded His disciples, and promised to be with them always, even to the end of the age. The study objective was to assess the implication of discipleship on Spiritual Growth in the Church of Rwanda. The specific objectives were: - To assess the presence of any model of discipleship in the Church of Kigali city/Gasabo District/ Gisozi sector, leading to spiritual growth to maturity of Church members; - To assess any available discipleship initiative in use by the Church in Kigali city/Gasabo District/ Gisozi sector, focusing on spiritual growth of church members; - To assess effectiveness of any available applied discipleship initiative in respect with spiritual growth of church members. This study is descriptive and qualitative. Closed questionnaire was used to collect data for each dependent variable.

The population covered by the study was of three denominational Churches of Gisozi sector in Kigali city functioning in the period of April to June 2018. These are Presbyterian, Free Methodist and Pentecostal –ADEPR.

The results of the study showed that for the assessed denominations, there was not any discipleship model put in place by the church for spiritual growth of church members. We recommend the Rwandan Church Leaders to build a Leadership devoted to Jesus’disciple making for spiritual growth of Church members in order to fulfil his mission.

Abstract: Higher learning institutions have adopted e-learning systems in an attempt to make learning more accessible in a cost effective manner to large population of learners across the globe and to improve students’ performance. E-learning involves the delivery of information through information systems. There has been a problem in student performance as there have been reports of low performance among e-learning students in some universities. Various measures have been implemented to ensure that success of e-learning in universities such as improved students’ academic performance. Therefore, this study sought to find out the effect of e-learning tools on student academic performance in Kenyatta University City Campus. The study established that e-learning tools, e-learning programs, learning management system and e-library platforms all had positive and significant influence to academic performance of students. From the descriptive analysis, the study respondents strongly agreed that adoption of electronic learning systems contributed to improved academic performance outcomes. Regression analysis established that the changes in student academic performance in terms of high test scores was largely due to adoption and utilization of electronic learning systems at the Kenyatta University. The study therefore concluded that electronic learning systems influence student academic performance. The study also recommend to the universities to adopt digital learning systems and to the government to support and develop policies that push for adoption of e-learning systems in universities. When seeking high academic performance in students, the learning institutions should adopt e-learning systems.

Abstract: Kengen projects necessitate a comprehensive strategy to ensure successful execution. Nevertheless, the company encounters constraints related to funding, workforce, and equipment, which impede project completion. Unanticipated occurrences such as adverse weather conditions, disruptions in the supply chain, and changes in regulations have led to delays and escalated expenses. Furthermore, Kengen has been unable to achieve a significant strategic objective concerning the Hydro Plaza Building in Seven Folks, primarily due to delayed payments, procurement difficulties, and unforeseen project requirements. Therefore, this study seeks to investigate the influence of procurement project planning technology on the performance of projects at Kenya Electricity Generating Company. The study employed a descriptive research design. The focus of this research was on five projects at the Kenya Electricity Generating Company. A total of 95 employees participated as respondents, which included 25 project managers and 70 project team members overseeing these projects. Given the limited population size, a census was conducted involving all 95 respondents. A pilot study was executed with 10 respondents at the Kenya Power and Lighting Company located in Nairobi City County, Kenya. The research ensured the validity of the questionnaire through content validity, criterion validity, and face validity. Quantitative data were gathered via questionnaires and analyzed using descriptive statistics, including mean and standard deviation. Additionally, a multiple linear regression analysis was conducted to explore the relationship between independent and dependent variables, with the results presented in tables and figures. The study found that found that there exist a statistically significant correlation between procurement project planning technology and project performance within the organization. The study concludes that employees within the organization acknowledge and appreciate the adoption of technological solutions. The research suggests that the organization ought to implement an all-encompassing procurement management software that seamlessly integrates with current systems, including enterprise resource planning systems, to optimize processes, enhance data precision, and foster collaboration among various departments.

Abstract: This paper explores the role of school libraries, particularly in government schools, in fostering lifelong learning habits by integrating unconventional, activity-based learning approaches. Abstract: Background: The study sought to examine the effects of teachers’ participation in decision making on academic performance in English in public secondary schools in Nyamagabe District, Rwanda. The study used mixed research design.

Methods and Materials: The researcher used stratified random sampling to obtain the sample size of 109 teachers and head teachers determined by means of Yamane’s formula. Questionnaires were administered to the respondents to collect data. Descriptive statistics, correlational analysis, and linear regression model of analysis were utilized to analyze data. Quantitative data from closed questions was analyzed using descriptive statistics through Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) software version 26.0.

Results: The findings showed significant effects of the involvement of teachers in taking decisions on academic performance in English. The results of data analysis presented that the relationship between teachers’ participation in decision-making and academic performance in English among public secondary students was .910** while the R Square was.828. Clearly, 82.8% of all variables of academic performance can be explained by one of all variables of teachers’ participation in decision making in public secondary schools. The variables were statistically significant with regression mean square of 63.270 and residual mean square was .123 while F=514.007 and P-value =.000^b.

Conclusion: The study concluded that there was a significant relationship between teachers’ participation in decision-making and academic performance in English among public secondary students in Nyamagabe District, Rwanda and teachers’ active involvement in decision making significantly affects academic attainment. Researcher recommends schools’ administration and educational policy makers to adopt participatory decision-making approach and closely collaborate with teachers in decision making to maximize academic performance in all subjects apart from English.

Abstract: Based on my doctoral thesis, this article explores the culinary heritage of the Jews of Greece from the historical perspective, religious temperament, and cultural background. The study of traditional Jewish cuisine in Greece explores how these gastronomic practices have been integrated into everyday Greek culinary life while preserving the identity of the religious background of their cultural heritage.

The methodology used is qualitative research based on data from archives, literature reviews, and interviews with members of the Jewish community of Chalkida and Athens.

Jewish cuisine in Greece is researched through the study of historical documents, cookbooks, and personal narratives, to highlight the broader changes in the community's diet over time and the religious significance of everyday food. In addition, interviews with individuals from the Jewish community of Chalkida helped to understand religious and cultural practices, such as adherence to dietary restrictions and celebration of holidays, and how pre-existing Greek cuisine influenced Jewish cuisine.

Early findings indicate that Greek-Jewish cuisine is a mixed canvas, resulting from the use of a wide range of ingredients, flavors, and cooking techniques which contribute to its unique and varied taste. The study also took into account the importance of food in Jewish religious and cultural traditions, such as the observance of kashrut (dietary laws) or holiday rituals.

Finally, the study fills an important gap in Jewish gastronomy, as it focuses exclusively on Jews living in Greece, thus offering a broader perspective on the coupling of Jewish and Greek identity concerning their gastronomic heritage, taking into account its historical and cultural parameters. The results provide a perspective through which to understand aspects of the survival and transformation of Jewish food culture in an immigrant context while filling gaps in the broader comprehension of how food contributes to cultural heritage

Social network theory, human capital theory, and resource-based views served as the study's guiding theoretical frameworks. A descriptive survey was research tool used in this study. 159 medical practitioners working in NCC, Kenya, focused of the research, which was conducted by the Ministry of Health. In order to choose the respondents, a basic random sampling procedure was used. A total of eighty individuals made the sample. The utilization of surveys allows for the collection of first-hand information. Thirteen questionnaires were sent to individuals working in the Ministry of Health within the Government of Machakos County as part of the pilot study. This is the reason why the researcher had to choose the Ministry of Health in Machakos County. When it comes to qualitative data, content analysis was used for analysis, and narratives was used for presentation. Quantitative data, including standard deviation and mean, were included in the descriptive analysis, which was shown in tables and figures. To further understand the interplay between the variables, the researcher used multiple regressions. The research discovered a positive and statistically significant relationship between performance and continuous improvement. Spending on employee education and growth is directly proportional to a company's bottom line. Results showed that improved unit communication did not affect organizational performance. Technology adoption significantly affected organizational performance, according to regression coefficients. Continuous improvement improves performance by eliminating inefficiencies, simplifying processes, and using resources more efficiently. Employees need training and development to improve their knowledge, skills, and competences, which lead to the company's success. Communication is vital to an organization's dynamics, yet it may not have had the greatest impact on the performance outcomes considered. For stakeholder satisfaction, modern organizations must continually adjust every department to increase performance. Other data suggest that modern businesses should continually modify all parts to succeed. The research advises the Ministry of Health to assess its communication channels, methodologies, and technology for strengths, weaknesses, and gaps.
