Abstract: This study investigates the factors influencing consumer satisfaction in fast-food delivery services in Dasmariñas City, Cavite. Utilizing a quantitative research approach, data was gathered through an online survey targeting residents who have utilized fast-food delivery apps. The study found that respondents, primarily young adults and students, reported high levels of satisfaction with both service and food quality. The research employed purposive sampling and Likert scale analysis to assess satisfaction levels. Results suggest that fast-food delivery services effectively meet customer expectations, particularly in handling requests, responsiveness, food taste, packaging, and delivery accuracy. These findings provide insights for stakeholders to enhance service quality and customer satisfaction in the fast-food delivery industry. The research results furnished enterprises with significant insights to augment their operational procedures and satisfy customer demands, consequently elevating Dasmariñas City's fast-food delivery services. Moreover, the research may have wider ramifications for the fast-food sector by offering context-neutral statistics regarding customer satisfaction and choices. The ultimate objective of the study is to provide fast-food delivery businesses with strategic decision-making tools that will improve productivity and client happiness.

Abstract: Cavity medication or disinfection is a common procedure after cavity preparation in order to remove debris and reduce microbial contaminants in the preparation before placement of any restorative material. However, the oral antiseptic solutions commonly used for this procedure potentially cause either irreparable pulpal damage or staining. Light Emitting Diode (LED) light at 405 to 525 mm wavelengths has been shown to exert antimicrobial effect. This study determined the minimum exposure time for Light Emitting Diode (LED) light curing machine to reduce microbial contaminants on Class I cavity preparation. It aimed to compare the number of microbial contaminants before and after twenty, thirty, forty- second exposure to 480 nm wavelength LED light, using plate count; and to compare the relative decrease of microbial counts in the different exposure periods. Thirty teeth with Class I cavity preparations were included in the study, each exposure time having 10 samples. Right after a Class I cavity was prepared, pre-treatment microbial samples were obtained from the disto-pulpal angle after LED light exposure for 20, 30 and 40 seconds. All swabs were inoculated onto agar, incubated for 24 hours and plate counted. Results showed that microbial counts from the cavity preparations were generally lower after LED light treatment in all exposure times. Using one-tailed Student’s t-test, the lowest exposure time that showed a significantly lower number of microbial count was at 30 seconds (mean = 51.29, SD = 67.98, p = 0.046), with an average percent reduction equal to 53.5 %. Results suggest that the minimum time required for the LED light curing machine to reduce microbial contaminants in Class I cavity preparation contaminants was at 30-second exposure. The researchers recommend that the LED light curing machine be used as an alternative method of cavity disinfection to using chemical substances.

Abstract: This research is focused on the effects of green practices and customer satisfaction among selected coffee shops in Dasmariñas City, Cavite. The researchers include measures of demographics that drive their respondents and their views on how green practices affect customers’ satisfaction. Drawing on the input-process-output (IPO) model and the Customer Satisfaction Model. this study aims to understand the relationship results showing that green practices may be causally linked to customer satisfaction. A descriptive-quantitative approach is used, and thereby 150 respondents’ data were analyzed. All the studies give positive findings regarding the satisfaction component of “green practices,” which are respectable as significant correlations that green practices have with elements Customer Satisfaction such as quality for products, service, usage of energy efficient appliances, presentation packing/ packaging in addition to cleanliness and reputation/image. The conducted research offers some insight in terms of pragmatic recommendations on how a coffee shop can manage customers’ expectations through green management. This study provides practical recommendations on green business practices and consumer perspectives about sustainability, creating a brighter future with respect to sustainability issues related to the coffee industry as well as society more generally.

Abstract:  Extent of awareness and compliance on food safety and quality assurance practices of strawberry-based food processors was determined along good manufacturing practices, food acceptability and inclusivity, and product labeling. Differences on extent of awareness and level of compliance when grouped according to position in the enterprise, years of business, and type of food processing facility was also determined. Respondents were 75 food processors from 25 strawberry-based enterprises within Barangays Balili, Betag, Lubas and Puguis, La Trinidad, Benguet. Descriptive-qualitative survey research method was used. Study revealed that strawberry-based food processors are Completely Aware on all identified practices. Product labeling regulations obtained the highest awareness rating of 3.94. Awareness when grouped according to type of food processing facilities was seen to significantly differ. Level of compliance of respondents on all standard practice identified is seen to be of Moderate Level. GMP regulations obtained the highest compliance level with 3.84 mean rating. No significant differences on level of compliance were seen when identified clusters are considered. Most common factors for non-compliance of food processors include their limitations of available financial and physical resources to comply with these regulations.

Abstract: Driven by the surge of Korean cultural influence ("Hallyu"), Korean-themed restaurants are flourishing worldwide. This study investigates the motivational factors behind this phenomenon in Dasmarinas, Cavite, Philippines. Focusing on five key factors: cultural curiosity, drama attractiveness, cultural similarity, relationship factor, and viewing habit, we analyze their correlation with the rise of Korean restaurants from both consumer and entrepreneur perspectives. Utilizing a correlational research design, we employ diverse statistical methods including correlation coefficients, weighted means, frequencies, and percentages to assess the significance of each factor. This comprehensive evaluation aims to identify the most influential motivators, empowering future entrepreneurs with data-driven insights for strategic planning and successful Korean restaurant ventures.

Abstract: This study aimed to describe the conceptions and practices of public secondary teachers in assessing learners under distance learning in the Division of Pampanga during the School Year 2021-2022. A mixed methods type of research, particularly sequential explanatory design, was employed involving the 58 public secondary school teachers. The researcher developed survey and interview guide questionnaires that were employed for data collection. Most teacher respondents were female and classified as late young adults. Findings revealed that teachers strongly agree on the importance of assessment in improving teaching and learning. Similarly, they demonstrate a strong agreement in their practices for conducting remote assessments. Furthermore, the study identified various challenges teachers faced when assessing learners through distance learning, such as difficulties in delivering effective learning, issues with student attitude, the intrusion of different entities, and parental involvement in their child's education. Furthermore, findings revealed a significant difference in the conception and practices of public secondary teachers when grouped according to sex, except for their conception of assessment in terms of school accountability. There is also a significant relationship between the respondents' profile (sex) and conception with a p-value of .265 and between the respondents' sex and the practices of assessments with a p-value of .309. These findings highlighted the need for an improved assessment practices plan to further enhance teachers' assessment conception and practices, emphasizing academic integrity to achieve greater parity with the legal bases supporting teachers' assessment practices appropriate for various learning modalities.

Abstract: The effect of public and domestic debt on the growth rate varies from country to country, depending on initial debt accumulations and how the debt is used.  The aim of the study was to investigate the relationship between external debt and economic growth in Zambia for the period 1985-2021. Economic growth, external debt, FDI and trade were study variables. According to the PP test, economic growth and FDI were I(0) whereas external debt and trade were I(1). The ARDL model was used for estimation. The study found that both in the short and long run, external debt negatively affects economic growth. Specifically, a 10 percent change in external debt leads to a -0.21 percent change in growth in the long run and a -0.71 percent change in the short run. The study also finds that FDI has a positive effect in the short run. The study recommends low levels of external debt so as to minimize the negative effect on economic growth.
