Abstract: This research was carried out to find out the best practices for dealing with customer complaints in Dasmarinas City's quick-service restaurants. The researchers of this study used the Purposive Sampling Technique to perform a descriptive survey among twenty QSR customers and ten QSR managers to learn about their insights founded on their own customer complaint experiences. Through data gathering, this study was able to find out that the demographic profile of customers affects the way they address their concerns to a QSR manager. Conversely, the demographic profile of the QSR managers affects the way they address the concerns of their customers. Most especially, their experiences from their educational attainments, given that the majority reached the college level, up to their working attainments where the majority are employees, make up the behaviors they have in a QSR. This study obtained information such as recommendations from all respondents about the best practices in managing customer complaints in QSRs, which whoever needs to know, may utilize for their own good such as students, researchers, and businesses.

Abstract: This study aims to assess the customer level satisfaction in selected fast-food establishments in Walter Mart Dasmariñas, Cavite at the time of pandemic as new normal guidelines is being considered. Safety measures have been mandated to different fast-food restaurants and strictly implemented. However, there may be nonconformities during operations due to reasons that are yet to be investigated and level of customer satisfaction is yet to be assessed. This study utilized survey questionnaires that was administered to randomly selected participants. The researchers randomly chose participants online to participate in this study. The use of technology through Google form was utilized in conducting this research since people are limited to go outside because the threat of covid-19 virus still exists.  This study was significant because it will benefit the selected fast-food establishments to determine the level of customer satisfaction as this will be assessed in current study. Moreover, this will give them the factual assessment of their service quality considering its tangibility, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy that will be useful when they create their respective customer service guidelines based on the result of the study that leads to the improvement of their service quality in the new normal set up. The researchers presented recommendations to the selected fast-food restaurants to further improve their service quality.

Abstract: The aim of the study is to know the effectiveness of marketing strategies in the midst of COVID - 19 pandemic in the customers of milktea shops in Molino II of Bacoor City, Cavite. The researchers chose Molino II of Bacoor City in Cavite because it is the province's gateway to Manila, whereby lots of micro-businesses are established, so it's an ideal location for the study. The paper adopted descriptive type of quantitative research design and surveyed (100) one hundred selected participants that was willing to cooperate with this study using google forms. Data collected were analyzed by using statistical methods which are; frequency and percentage, measures of central tendency or mean and chi-square, it is to have a clear conclusion. The result of the survey will reach the objectives of this study. The collected data analysis results including the 4ps; Product, Price, Place and Promotions shows how effective the marketing strategies in the midst pandemic to the said businesses.

Abstract: Suicide is a leading cause of death worldwide but accurate statistics on police suicides in Canada are limited [1], [2]. Statistics from the Ontario Provincial Police show that police suicides may be on the rise with an increase from 1 per year between 1989 to 2012 to 1.7 per year between 2013 to 2019 [3], [4]. How the media portrays police suicide can affect public opinion surrounding the officer and their service and can even affect the suicide rates, known as the Werther effect [5], [6].  This study seeks to examine how police services and specific officers are portrayed in articles concerning police suicides in news media during 2019 in Canada.

Data was collected from news media outlets in Canada including The Globe and Mail, CBC News and The Toronto Star among others. Both qualitative and quantitative analyses were conducted on 43 news articles regarding police suicide. Each article was looked at using a three-point system to determine whether the tone was positive, neutral or negative towards the police officer and their service. It is hypothesized that media articles will portray the officers who died in a positive tone but their police service in a negative tone. The findings can be useful as a foundation for future research with the ultimate goal of helping to reduce and prevent police suicides. Implications and direction for future research are also discussed.
