Abstract: In this article, we will discuss the effect of use different optimization techniques on the ellipse microstrip antennas. With the help of optimization properties of these antennas can be enhanced and also can be made cost effective. The antenna can be a single band or multi-band, so that antenna can work for a wide range of technologies. Their efforts led to a wide range of new and innovative antenna designs which are useful for the modern wireless communication services. In this report, I provided a comprehensive overview from the beginning to the latest developments in the rapidly growing field of antenna engineering with help of optimization techniques. It will provide an idea that which optimization gives better results in comparison to the other. This paper ends with some concluding remarks about optimization. The results so far are the matter of interest but our research is in the way to explore more, to fulfill the need of the future practical applications.
