Customs and Traditions: An Emergent Model on Students’ Moral Values Development

Abstract: The study aims to explore the customs and traditions existing in the formation of the moral values development of the students. This seeks to identify the different factors and challenges affecting the students’ moral values development and their academic performance. The study is a qualitative research using phenome-nological approach that focuses on the lived experiences of the individuals who experienced the phenomena. Data will be collected through triangulation like: semi-structured interview, observation and document analysis. Moral values development model is formulated to address the issue. The Collaizzi method will be used in analyzing the data.
