The  validity of the instrument was established by experts in Measurement and Evaluation and Educational Psychology and the reliability of the research instrument was established with Cronbach Alpha reliability analysis and the index ranged from 0.77 to 0.97. The stated research questions were answered using mean and standard deviation, while the stated hypotheses were tested using independent t-test and One-way ANOVA at .05 alpha level. The findings revealed that there is a significant influence of gender on statistics anxiety, there was no significant influence of age on statistical anxiety.
