Desublimation: Freud’s Sublimation in Reverse

Abstract: In this paper, I examine whether we can legitimately argue that primary lives in both the US and the UK are manufactured using materials extracted from popular culture – from secondary cultural activity. The equivalent of Freud’s sublimation, but in reverse.
