Abstract: In the present scenario, we see that students are facing lot of problems for choosing the right interest of course or the branch and selecting the colleges after their senior secondary education. Most of the students just take the decision of choosing their branch because of their relatives’ suggestions or their parents’ forceful decisions. Sometimes, they won’t be having any idea about what course they are going for. So most of the students realize their mistake only after choosing the course which is not of their interest and hence they could not change it later and have to suffer.Our concept, i.e. Education Recommendation System, will help those students in selecting the course which is of their interest by taking the Personnel AssessmentTest. The test will assist them by recommending right branch that will can be best suitable for them. It will be showing the overview of the course and also will help them in choosing the right college or institution regarding that course. Initially, we have designed and windows based mobile application that will only assist the students in the field of Engineering. Our idea is to later extend it for the further fields such as medical, commercial, arts etc. Also, we can design a website that will assist all the students of different fields. It will be completely different from the present scenario which does not assist the students for their field of interest.
