Abstract: In proposed System, the detection and removal of cracks in digitized painting is presented. Our system will restore the old cracked painting or images. Detect crack using morphological high pass operator called top-hat transformation. Then filling procedure will be applied on cracks. Order statistics filter are used for crack filling which deals with mean and median filter. In previous system, these things were done manually. Our proposed system going to overcome all our problems of existing because it is automated tool to detect and remove the cracks from the cracked images.
