Abstract: In this paper we consider the system of ‘l’ parallel channels with a finite source. The queue discipline is first-come-first-served, and the problem is solved by using matrix calculus for the time dependent case. Some useful results in a concise manner have been given. Lastly, the procedure for time dependent case has been illustrated by a simple example.
