The Role of Job Satisfaction mediates The Effect of Transformational Leadership on Organizational Commitment

Abstract:  The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of transformational leadership on job satisfaction, to determine the effect of transformational leadership on organizational commitment, to determine the effect of job satisfaction on organizational commitment, and to determine the role of job satisfaction in mediating the effect of transformational leadership on organizational commitment. This research was conducted at the Aston Hotel Canggu. The number of samples used in this study is 62 people, using the saturated sample method (census), which uses the entire population as a sample. Data analyzed using Path Analysis techniques. The results showed that transformational leadership had a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction at Aston Hotel Canggu, transformational leadership had a positive and significant effect on organizational commitment, job satisfaction had a positive and significant effect on organizational commitment, and job satisfaction positively and significantly mediated transformational leadership towards commitment at the Aston Hotel Canggu.
